Chapter 2 Dinner with the Aoyagi's

Tsukasa's POV

The Next Evening

Saki and I were helping our mother prepare dinner, when the doorbell suddenly rang.

"That must be them", my mother pointed out.

"I will go get the door, Mother", I stated.

Then, I dashed to the door before opening it.

When I did, I saw Toya along with his parents as well as his two brothers.

"Greetings, Aoyagi family", I greeted. "Welcome to our wonderful home! Please come inside!"

With that, the family walked into our house.

"Hello Tsukasa-Senpai", Toya greeted.

"Hello Toya", I greeted. "How are you doing, my kōhai?"

"I'm doing well", Toya replied. "Thank you, Tsukasa-Senpai."

"Hi Toya-Kun", Saki greeted as she walked up to us.

"Hello, Saki-San", Toya greeted. "How have things been going with you? Are you doing well?"

"I'm doing great", Saki exclaimed.

Then, our mother walked up to us before walking up to Tsukasa's brother.

"Natsu", she greeted when she saw him. "Welcome back."

We were now all sitting at the dinner table, and Natsu was asking us a bunch of questions.

"I'm glad to see that you're out of the hospital, Saki-San", he stated.

"I'm glad to be out", Saki said. "And I managed to go my entire first year of high school without landing myself back in there!"

"I'm glad", Natsu stated. "Toya tells me that you started a band with your childhood friends. How's that going?"

"It's going great", Saki replied. "We're slowly making our way to becoming pros someday!"

"Is that so", Natsu asked. "Well then, I wish you good luck. The professional music world is not something that one can get to so easily. You'll need a lot of discipline if you want to achieve your goal."

"You don't need to worry about that", Saki reassured. "One of my bandmate's dad is a professional musician, so she's always strict on us and making sure we don't slack off."

"Good", Natsu stated. "As long as you keep at it like that, then I'm sure that you'll achieve your goal someday."

"Thanks, Natsu-Kun", Saki said.

"Now Tsukasa", Natsu started as he turned to face me. "Toya tells me that you are performing with a theatre troupe at the Phoenix Wonderland amusement park?"

"That is correct", I replied. "In fact, I am the leader of this troupe!"

"Oh", Natsu started. "Is that so?"

"But of course", I replied. "After all, I am the world's number one up incoming star! Who else to better lead the troupe than I?!"

After I said this, Natsu seemed to suddenly start thinking about something.

"Hey Tsukasa", he started. "I was wondering, when is your troupe's next show?"

"Our next show", I started. "Why do you ask?"

"I would love to come and see you perform", Natsu replied.

"Is that so", I asked. "Well if that is the case, then you are in luck, for my troupe's next show happens to be tomorrow evening!"

"Perfect", Natsu stated. "Then I'll come watch the show tomorrow."
