Hey everyone, it's me, back with a new chapter to Transformers; The Monster Wars.
I see that many of you really liked the First part, so here's the Second half of the chapter.
I don't own anything related to the Monster Hunter series or Transformers: Beast Wars or any Transformer related media. The only thing I own is my own creations and story.
Axalon, Ancient Forest...
After Velocibot's had made his announcement, all the Maximals and Jaycee, Aiden, Makoto, Erica and Puss were on the side lines were watching both Optimus and Velocibot.
Optimus slowly walked towards Velocibot as he did the same, the two stood atop a large, but narrow land bridge.
"Face me, Optimus. I, Velocibot, challenge you for leadership of the Maximals." Velocibot said as Optimus got a serious look on his face. "You and I, one on one, the winner shall be leader and the loser…"
Velocibot then looked down at the land bridge the two were standing on. "...Well, it is a long way down." He said to Optimus.
"I don't want to fight you." Optimus stated, hoping that the two could avoid conflict.
Unfortunately for Optimus, Velocibot didn't feel the same way as him.
"You have no choice! Your command centre is back here, and no one may cross this bridge and until you face me, no one will cross this bridge." Velocibot said, with steel determination in his voice as the two Transformers stared down at one another.
Meanwhile, the others Maximals weren't about to let their voices on the matter just go to waste.
"Don't we get a say in this?" Barronox questioned.
"Let chopper face and de boss monkey deal wit' it, no fur off my back." Wulgtrap said, deciding that Velocibot and Optimus should fight as he smacks Barronox's side. "Ain't no fur off of my tail."
"No way! Hey, Scale Belly! How's about you try a piece of a bad dog!" Zinogtor growled at Velocibot for wanting to harm his father figure.
"Cool your circuits, Zinogtor." Optimus calmed the Zinogre Maximal. "I wouldn't send anyone to do anything I wasn't willing to do myself."
"Oh, yeah, right. NOW he say's dat." Wulgtrap sarcastically says with a roll of his eyes.
Optimus then looks back at Velocibot and with a groan he tells him. "This is foolish Velocibot, we're Maximals, you are a Predacon." Optimus tell the Predacon.
"All the more reason why I should lead then." Velocibot snarled at Optimus Primal.
"Look, I don't know what happened between you and Megatron, but…" Optimus began, however he never got a chance to finish as Velocibot interrupted him with an outraged roar.
"Megatron!? Megatron will fall when I have your Maximals at my command." Velocibot told Optimus that he was willing to have the Maximals destroy Megatron.
"You are welcomed to join us, but you shall NOT lead!" Optimus said, pointing defiantly to the turncoat Predacon.
"I... beg... to... differ, for, in anticipation as my new role as leader, I had already reprogrammed my activation code when you left the Axalon." Velocibot stated, surprising everyone present.
"You guys can do that?" Jaycee asked as he looked at the other Maximals with a surprise look.
"Any Transformer can change their activation code at will, but it all depends on their programming." Barronox told them. The Hunters and Palico didn't know what programming was, but figured it must be very complex.
"Yea, and he's still a stink'en Pred tuh me…" Wulgtrap said, giving everyone the impression that he really didn't like the Predacons, no matter what they said or even if they changed their faction or not.
"Velocibot, MAXIMIZE!" Velocibot screeched as he activated his new transformation code and began his transformation from Velocidrome Mode into Robot Mode. His Predacon Faction symbol was now replaced by a Maximal Faction symbol.
"Optimus Primal, MAXIMIZE!" Optimus shouted as he transformed from his Rajang Mode into his Robot Mode. He knew full well that all chances of negotiations were over but then stopped and beseeched.
"At least let the humans go, Velocibot, they aren't involved!" Optimus tells
"Normally, I would agree. But, I have seen what they could do on their own against this planet's fauna. So I will not risk a sneak attack from them." Velocibot countered as he looked at the Humans and Palico.
Velocibot then approached Optimus with his Sword and rotating Shield at the ready while Optimus stayed in a defensive stance. Velocibot tried to scare Optimus with some of his fancy sword play, but Optimus just held his ground as he pulled out two scimitars.
Unable to take much more of this and not wanting to see the Maximal he looks up to as his dad get hurt, Zinogtor was about to step in.
"I'm going in there! Zinogtor, MAXI- HEY!"
Zinogtor was interrupted as Wulgtrap jumped on his back and clamped the thunder puppy's mouth shut. "Cool it, mutt. Nailin' de rock from behind won't solve anythin'."
"Yeah, you better listen to him, little pup. Like it or not, we have to let them finish it…" Barronox said as he looked back at the fight.
Velocibot then charged straight at Optimus, but the Maximal Leader flipped the Ex-Predacon over him. Velocibot fumbled on the ground and his spinning shield got caught on the bridge, jamming it. Seeing this both, Jaycee and Zinogtor smiled, but Velocibot got up and somersaulted over to Optimus, grabbed his shield before jumping high up into the air and then right back down dived down at Optimus, shield first. When he connected, it sent Optimus to the ground and brought some of the land bridge down as well. Optimus then got up and with a determined look of his face, while Velocibot had a look of pride on his as he raised his sword to finish him off.
Seeing this as an opportunity, Optimus then gave Velocibot a hard-left punch. The force of the blow disoriented Velocibot so badly that he fell down onto the land bridge. Optimus then pulled one of his machetes and placed it under Velocibot's head. The Hunters and Palico thought that Optimus was going to kill him right then and there, but they were surprised when the Maximal Leader didn't move.
When Velocibot looked up at Optimus, he then said. "I still live, finish it…"
The fact that Velocibot expected Optimus to offline him, shocked the four Hunters and Palico greatly. But Optimus still did not move an inch from his position.
...
...
...
"No... That's not how we Maximals do things." Optimus told Velocibot as he put one of his machetes away and offered the Ex-Predacon an open hand.
Meanwhile, Jaycee couldn't believe what he saw, here was Velocibot, who was trying to kill Optimus for Leadership of the Maximals, and Optimus was giving the Ex-Predacon a helping hand. If it was him, he would have killed him and got it over with.
'To offer a hand to your enemy. Optimus is really something else.' Jaycee thought as he looked at Optimus as not only as someone who is a Leader, but as someone who is willing to give others second chances.
Velocibot looked away. The humans and Felyne thought it had something to do with his pride, but then they heard him hiss. "Then… that will… have to change!"
His optics soon changed from red to electric green by the time he turned his head and a beam shot out hitting Optimus in the face. Optimus gave a shout as he began walking backwards in reaction to the beams.
As Optimus reached the edge he couldn't control himself as he tried to regain balance but he then fell over the edge. But luckily for him, his legs caught the edge of the bridge saving his life.
But before Optimus could get up, Velocibot was standing over him. The others thought that this was going to be the end for Optimus Primal.
Velocibot then did something that surprised everyone. He hosted his sword and helped Optimus up. Equally surprised, Optimus asked. "What are you doing? You could've won."
"You slipped, to defeat you in such a manner would be lacking in honor, and I would not have earned the right to lead." Velocibot informed the Maximal Leader.
Jaycee was amazed to hear this, the other Predacons he meant seemed to only care about winning any way they could. But Velocibot actually had a code of honor that he followed. It made him think that Velocibot was someone you could trust, but at the same time you'd still watch him to be on the safe side. Makoto, Aiden, Erica, and Puss all shared the same thought as him.
Unfortunately, the next thing Velocibot said, made them rethink all that. "I prefer to beat my opponents the old fashion way..."
He then activated a button on his sword, causing it to spark and rotate at an even faster speed than normal. Velocibot then shouted, with his eyes glowing brightly. "BRUTALLY!"
The battle between the two continued as the combatants began swinging their swords at each other, both weapons connected as they did, trying to get an advantage over the other. Those who wanted to look away, couldn't as they were fighting in a majestic and fierce manner just as if the two were sparing like old friends, instead of fighting each other like rivals.
When they crossed blades again, Optimus grunted. "You know, for a Predacon, Velocibot. You have qualities I could like!"
"And you... aargh... have proof to be a worthy adversary to me. I will have you recycled with full honors." Velocibot said while they both struggled, a smirk forming on his blue metallic lips.
"Well… that's just… Prime!" Optimus grunted loudly as both he and Velocibot pushed themselves off of each other and continued their battle.
But as they fought, they were unaware that their battle was being watched right now as they speak.
With the Predacons...
Standing serval miles away and out of view, were the Predacons they had followed the Maximals back to their ship and were watching the battle between Velocibot and Optimus Primal. The Predacons were also all in their Monster Modes.
Each one of them were enjoying seeing the two beat each other up. "Well, this is an interesting sight… Yess. Optimus and the traitor, Velocibot, engaged in battle." Megatron said as he and his Predacons watched on.
"Who do you think going to win?" Akuranok asked Megatron his opinion on the winner.
"I'd putting my servos on Velocibot." Terralos said with a malicious grin as he watched the battle between Maximal and Ex-Predacon. He had seen how vicious Velocibot could be before arriving on this pitiful planet.
"Terralos dumb: Seltanator bet on Optimus." Seltanator said as he slid his mandibles against each other as he buzzed. Optimus was a powerful warrior and a somewhat capable leader.
Nerscyllantus, however, didn't feel the same way as his other Predacon brethren.
"The winner isn't what interests me." Nerscyllantus said as he then laughed and clicked his fangs.
"Nor, me. Nooo." Megatron said as he looked back at his men before looking forward once more, an idea had already formed in his head to destroy the Maximals.
"How much more preferable would it be if they BOTH lost? Yess…" Megatron said, as he watches the Leader of the Maximals and the traitorous Velocibot continue to try and overpower the other.
"Megatron, TERRORIZE!" Megatron shouted as he transformed from Deviljho mode into robot mode.
"Terralos, TERRORIZE!" Terralos screeched as he transformed from Astalos mode into robot mode.
"Nerscyllantus, TERRORIZE!" Nerscyllantus shouted as he transformed from Nerscylla mode into robot mode.
"Seltanator, TERRORIZE!" Seltanator shouted as he transformed from Seltas mode into robot mode.
"Akuranok, TERRORIZE!" Akuranok shouted as he transformed from Akura Vashimu mode into robot mode.
Back with the Maximals...
Luckily for the Maximals, Wulgtrap had heard the Predacon gears when they had transformed and looked over into their direction.
"Yow! Shift yur scanners due east, pals! Cuz dis party just got some big-time crashers!" Wulgtrap warned the other Maximals and Hunters as they all looked and spotted the Predacons all standing on a cliff.
"It's the Predacons!" Makoto shouted as she pointed at the Predacons that were standing on a cliff.
Back with the Maximals...
Seeing as they have been spotted, Megatron looked to his men and ordered them to fire at Optimus Primal and Velocibot now.
"FIRE!" Megatron ordered his men to fire at the land bridge that Optimal Primal and Velocibot were on.
Jaycee, acting on his instinct, quickly rushed over to try and get Optimus and Velocibot off of the land bridge before the Predacon's attack could land. Optimus noticed both the on-coming missiles and Jaycee.
"Beast Mode!" Optimus shouted as he transformed back into his Rajang form. He quickly scooped Jaycee up and grabbed Velocibot and jumped off the land bridge, causing the missiles to miss them entirely. The others all quickly rushed over to the edge of the cliff to see if they could find their friends.
"OPTIMUS!! JAYCEE!!" Zinogtor, Makoto, Puss, Aiden, and Erica all cried out, thinking that the Maximal's Leader and Jaycee were now both dead.
Horrified by what they had witness, Makoto covered her eyes trying to hid her tears, while Aiden, Puss, and Erica looked away with tears forming in their eyes. Zinogtor looked away as well in sorrow at the lost of his leader and his new friend.
"Hey, if you guys aren't doing anything?" The voice of Optimus Primal suddenly called out to them, causing everyone to look back at the land bridge.
They soon see that Optimus Primal was dangling off of the edge of the land bridge by his toes as he held Velocibot by his arm, whilst Jaycee held onto one of the robotic legs of Velocibot.
"A little speed would be Prime." Optimus ordered his Maximals to act fast.
"Optimus! Jaycee!" Zinogtor, Makoto, Aiden, Erica, and Puss all cheered as they saw that the three were still alive.
The Predacons continued where they were firing at the bridge, trying to destroy one of the pathways to the Axalon and make Optimus, Velocibot, and Jaycee fall to their doom.
"Hurry!" Jaycee shouted as he looked down at the very tall drop below him, Optimus, and Velocibot with fear.
Back with the Predacons...
Seeing as how Optimus Primal, Velocibot, and their Human companion were still alive, Megatron let out a low beastly growl as his optics glowed with neon purple for a moment before returning to their dark red color.
"Make them fall! Yesss!" Megatron ordered his men to continue to fire and make the two Cybertronians and Human fall to their deaths.
The Predacons all started firing again at the land bridge, with Megatron firing a beam of black clouds and red lighting out of his Deviljho Head arm, Seltanator fired explosive arrows, Nerscyllantus pulled out the large middle purple spike on his thorax revealing it to be a revolver-like blaster, the rest just used their blasters and fired off missiles.
Back with the Maximals...
"You heard them, let's go! Zinogtor, MAXIMIZE!" Zinogtor shouted as he transformed from his Zinogtor mode into his Robot mode.
"Barronox, MAXIMIZE!" Barronox shouted as he transformed from his Barroth mode into his Robot mode.
Barronox turned to Wulgtrap, and saw that he hadn't transform yet, and so the large Maximal tapped the smallest member of the team on the top of his wolf-like head.
"Hey, hey, hey, YOU guys can go an' get yerselves scraped. I ain't--URK!" Wulgtrap said, before he was cut off by Barronox picking him up by the back of his neck and bringing him up to his optic level.
He was not wanting to have anymore of his friend complaining right now.
"...alright, alright." Wulgtrap agreed in fear as he activated his transformation activation code.
With Optimus, Velocibot, and Jaycee...
Optimus couldn't do anything to help both Velocibot and Jaycee with one hand holding the two up and one foot holding them all up on the land bridge. And just as things couldn't get any worse, Velocibot was now starting to suffer from Energon build up.
"Aaaah! The Energon Fields! I am... shorting out." Velocibot cried out as he started to spark and twitch in pain.
And to make things better, the land bridge was now choosing that this was the right time to fall apart.
"Hang on! You can't transform in your position." Optimus tells Velocibot to not transform. Cause if he did, not only would his Beast Mode's weight cause him to fall, he could also cause Jaycee to fall during the ex-Predacon's transformation.
"Please don't! I won't be able to hold on if you do!" Jaycee tells Velocibot to not transform back into Robot mode as well.
"Release me! I'll throw the human to you. Just let me fall and save yourselves!" Velocibot said, compromising a solution that will save both the Maximal Leader and the A-List Hunter.
"Uuugh! Now... where's the honor in that?" Optimus grunted as he asked Velocibot.
"Yeah, no, I am not letting that happen either." Jaycee agreed with Optimus on not letting Velocibot fall to his death.
Suddenly, the bridge began to collapse more as Optimus had to hold onto the land bridge with just one toe, which was proving to be more difficult as he was losing his grip.
"You... both have... no choice!" Velocibot said in pain, he really was trying to save both Optimus and Jaycee's life while giving up his.
Jaycee and Optimus looked at each other before nodding and looking back at Velocibot.
"Then we'll all go." Optimus grunted and Jaycee said.
Optimus had soon lost all of his strength in his toe and he, Velocibot, and Jaycee all begin to fall down the land bridge towards their death down below.
...
...
...
But thankfully, Barronox was able to quickly grab onto Optimus's left leg and began pulling the three back up onto the bridge.
"Going up?" Barronox joked as he pulled the three back up onto the land bridge. Zinogtor, Wulgtrap, Puss, Aiden, Erica, and Makoto were all on the land bridge with Barronox.
With the Predacons...
Seeing this, Megatron smiled and looked back his troops. "This is our opportunity, Yess. Fire all weapons now!"
The Predacons came out from their cover and fired all of their weapons simultaneously at the end of the land bridge that the rest of the Maximals, and the Hunters had all come from.
Back with the Maximals...
After Velocibot had transformed back into his Velocidrome mode, Optimus quickly noticed that the Predacons weapons were all aimed at the Bridge and gasped in shock, quickly turning around to look at the Maximals, Velocibot, and the Hunters, he shouted.
"Everyone, off this bridge! NOW!" Optimus ordered everyone to run.
Barronox carried Aiden, Erica, and Puss in his hands while the latter sat on his shoulder as he ran across the collapsing bridge, while Zinogtor carried Jaycee and Makoto on his back.
The only one that was behind was Wulgtrap.
And with the destruction of the bridge catching up with the minutes of the Maximals. When Wulgtrap reached the other end of the bridge, and the bridge was no more. The Wulg Maximal expected to just fall to his doom, he felt a hand wrapping itself around his arm, he looked up to see that it was Optimus Primal holding onto him from certain death, before pulling him back up with both The Maximals, The Hunters, and Velocibot.
"Your welcome." Optimus said, not really expecting a 'thank you' for saving the Fanged Wyvern Maximal.
Wulgtrap looked back to his leader and said. "Yer de leader, its yer, eh… job." But inside, the Wulg Maximal was thankful that the big ape saved his life.
But to Optimus, anger had swelled up inside him, he then pushed it down and turned away from him. The other Maximals all returned back to their Beast Modes as they tried to catch their breaths.
Meanwhile, with the Predacons...
Meanwhile, Megatron was not happy about failing to finish off Optimus Primal, and he took that anger out on Terralos first. "AAAARRRGH!!! Incompetent fools, you let them escape!" Megatron shouted ready to take this anger out on the rest of his men.
"M-Megatron, look up there! The missiles!" Akuranok shouted pointing at the first wave of missiles that they fired.
Megatron turned to see the first wave of the missiles that they fired upon at the Maximals, had kept flying straight towards a mountain in the distance before it stuck the top of the mountain and exploded, and revealing that inside the mountain was an insane amount of Giant, Glowing, Bright Electric Blue Crystals that appeared to glow with energy.
"Energon! Yess…" Megatron breathed exasperatedly. "Raw, Natural, Energon crystal.!"
Turning to Akuranok he said, gleefully. "I knew it was here!" He said as his body began to spark.
He and the Predacons quickly realized that the Energon Fields were now beginning to short them out.
Thinking quickly Megatron ordered his men. "Q-Quickly, return to B-Beast Mode!" He ordered.
Everyone quickly transformed back into their Beast Modes.
With the Maximals...
"Raw Energon, in its natural form, its highly unstable." Optimus said as he looked at the mountain full of Raw Energon crystals.
"Hold nyon, what's Energon?" Puss asked confused as to what this Energon was and why all of the Maximals, including Velocibot, were staring at the crystals like they were under hypnosis.
"Energon is a fundamental element that we cultivate and grow on our home planet of Cybertron, it's not only a fuel source that can powers our civilization, but ourselves as well." Optimus tells the Hunters and Palico. "But too much Energon is not a good thing. For if we were to remain in our root mode for too long, the Energon fields on your world will put us in stasis lock."
"It's also why we chose to take on your planet's life forms as our Beast Modes. Or, I guess Monster Modes, as you would call them." Zinogtor informed them.
Looking back at Barronox, Optimus comments. "We were very lucky that those missiles didn't cause it to explode…"
"If you can call it lucky…" Barronox admitted.
"H-How big of an explosion are we talking about here?" Erica asked the important question to the Maximals.
"Depending on how much Energon there actually is in that Mountain, it could take the mountain or this entire Island off the face of this planet." Barronox responded causing the four humans and Felyne to look at him with fear.
Zinogtor then narrowed his optics, and spotted Megatron and his Predacons on the move, heading towards the Mountain. "Megatron's on the move. Bearing 6-1-7-5."
"He's… after the Energon…" Velocibot said through the pain, as he looked to the Maximals. "With Crystals of those sizes... he would be unstoppable."
This made the humans and palico worried. Wulgtrap, on the other claw, yawned unimpressed, as he said sarcastically. "Oh uuh, danks fer the hot tip, scale belly…"
Turning to the Barronox, Wulgtrap said to him. "Barronox, scrap dis guy."
Much to the uproar from the four young Hunters and Palico, Barronox scrapped his monster foot along the ground, ready to charge and force Velocibot to fall down into the steep valley below. He quickly charged his way towards the Velocidrome Ex-Predacon.
"Hold on, Barronox." Optimus stopped Barronox just as he was a few feet away from shoving the former Predacon off the cliff.
Optimus then looks towards Velocibot and asked him an important question.
"Will he send flyers?" Optimus asked the ex-Predacon if Megatron will send Terralos and Seltanator to retrieve the Energon crystals.
Wulgtrap looked stunned like he was just got stung by a Bnahabra paralyzing stinger when he heard his so-called "leader" asking a Predacon for help. He whined. "Oh, for bootin' up cold! Yer not gonna believe a Predacon, are ya?"
"That's MY call." Optimus said to Wulgtrap with a growl. He then turns towards Velocibot and asked him again. "Will he?"
"Hmm, Negative. The crystals are too big for his flyers to carry. Only Nerscyllantus has the skills to segment Energon crystals." Velocibot told the Maximals.
"Then We have to get there first." Optimus told the Maximals, before looking at Wulgtrap and the five Hunters. "All FIVE of us."
Wulgtrap began to laugh, thinking that Velocibot wouldn't be able to join them. He gloated. "Yea, all five of us-"
Realizing what the Rajang said, Wulgtrap asked Optimus. "Ya mean lizard lips is goin' with?"
With an annoyed groan, he muttered. "We're all gonna die…"
"Hey, what about us!" Jaycee called out to Optimus. He wanted to help too.
"You and your friends are to remain onboard the Axalon for your safety until our return." Optimus told Jaycee.
"What, but that's not fair!" Aiden shouted, he wanted to stop the Predacons as much as Wulgtrap hated Velocibot.
"If it's your lives, it is." Optimus told them. "Maximals, let's move out!" He says as everyone began heading their way to the mountain.
With the Predacons...
The Predacons were on their way towards the Energon crystals, with Megatron grinning along the way.
"So much Energon, with crystals of those sizes, the Predacon forces will be unstoppable, yeess. Soon, The Maximals and then the entire galaxy will be ours to conquer." Megatron said as he and his Predacons continued heading their way towards the Energon.
"But what shall we do with the locals on this world?" Akuranok asked, wondering what they should do about the creatures. "Some of them might fight back. And let's not forget the animals of this planet."
Megatron thought about Akuranok's question as he let out a thoughtful hum as he and his Predacons continued heading towards the Energon for a few moments before answering him.
"Hmm, we can make them work for us as they toil away mining at the Energon. While we can feed those who oppose us put against each other for gladiatorial amusement by saying we'll give them their freedom, before feeding them to the local wildlife." Megatron said as he began to laugh maniacally with the others soon following.
With the Maximals...
As the Maximals made their way to the Energon mountain, night had begun to fall, but it didn't stop them ion their way to the mountain as they all walked along the path towards the mountain.
Barronox then walked up to Optimus. "How you feeling?" He asked Optimus if he was okay.
"Improved. I believe my internal repairs have been completed." Optimus tells the Maximals Medic/ Engineer.
"I was wondering, your flying robot form could make it to the crystal before any of us." Barronox said as he gave Optimus an idea.
"No, we have to stay together. The Predacons could attack us at any moment. And we don't know anything about this planet yet or how it's wildlife act, so we can't risk it." Optimus said as Barronox looked at him.
"Well, what we do know is that most of the animals are more commonly referred to as Monsters, from what those kids told Zinogtor, and they seem to act very territorial." Barronox tells Optimus.
"What about these... Hunters?" Optimus asked him.
"They seem to act less like poachers, and more like protectors of the planet's ecosystem from what we were told on our way back to the Axalon." Barronox tells them. "Sure, they are sent out to kill some of them, but it has usually been all in the name of keeping the planet's ecosystem running as it should be: Calm and Balanced."
Optimus then looked back ahead on their path and asked Barronox a question he had on his mind ever since he told Jaycee, Makoto, Puss, Erica, and Aiden to stay on the Axalon.
"Tell me Barronox, did I make the good call in letting them not join us?" Optimus asked the Barroth Maximal.
Barronox thought for a moment before answering him. "You remember the Great War with our ancestors, the Autobots?" Barronox asked Optimus, who nodded his head.
"How could I forget, it's all my Creators ever talked about when I was a youngling." Optimus Primal chuckled at the memory. Barronox let out a short chuckle.
"Well then, remember that they had the help of the people of that world, so maybe... we should take a page out of their history and have these Hunters be our guide here as well as have them help us." Barronox suggested to Optimus.
Optimus thought about what Barronox said. It's true that without the help of the humans of Earth, the Autobots might and would have lost the war centuries ago.
Suddenly, the voice of Zinogtor caught there attention.
"Hey, what's that down there?" Zinogtor asked pointing a paw at a strange structure.
The Maximals all looked at where he was pointing and saw a strange structure just to their left. It looked to be a structure made of large rectangular stone forming the shape of what looked almost like a key.
"Hmm. Unusual? Did the Humans every mention anything about strange structures before, Zinogtor?" Optimus asked Zinogtor.
"Just a few, said that centuries ago there was this Ancient Civilization that went extinct in less than a day. They don't know much about what happened to them, but they said their have been theories on them." Zinogtor told Optimus about how much he knew Ancient Civilization that their human friends told him.
"An Ancient Civilization, extinct? What do you think might have caused that?" Optimus asked Zinogtor, he wondered how an entire civilization could just go extinct in a single day.
"I don't know, but what the Jaycee, Makoto, Erica, and Aiden told me, was that the Ancient Civilization were not Monster friendly. Said that they made an abomination of Nature and Biology that enraged a giant black dragon of some kind." Zinogtor tells Optimus. They all didn't know why, but a chill went down all of their backs at the same time when Zinogtor finished that sentence.
"Well then, let's hope we don't run into either the so-called abomination or this giant black dragon." Optimus tells the group.
Barronox narrowed his eyes, noticing some strange markings on the stone that didn't seem to relate to any know language that this or any other world spoke of.
"It's not something we would make." Barronox tells Optimus. "Nor the Predacons."
Unfortunately for them, they wouldn't have much time to think on these things as Zinogtor sensed a pair of wings flapping and buzz.
"Heads up!" Zinogtor cried out as the other Maximals looked up.
It was hard to see them in the night sky, but the Maximals soon quickly spotted both Terralos and Seltanator heading straight for them in their Monster Modes, m Megatron must have sent them after the Maximals to slow them down.
"Seltanator, TERRORIZE!" Seltanator shouted as he transformed into Robot mode with Terralos following the giant bug's lead.
"Terralos, TERRORIZE!" Terralos shouted as he transformed into Robot mode.
The two Predacons then dove straight down at the Maximals, quickly the Maximals acted and activated their Transformation activation sequence and got ready for the fight about to come.
"Defensive Position!" Optimus ordered the Maximals as they all pulled out their blasters.
"O-yeah, What about him?" Wulgtrap asked as he pointed his blaster at Velocibot.
"He's with US!" Optimus said, emphasizing that the Ex-Predacon was now a member of their team.
Unfortunately, the Fanged Wyvern Maximal wasn't so convinced. "Yea, Ah'm not buying it just because yuh sez so…"
Soon, the rocks behind Wulgtrap exploded from the shots taken by the Predacons, causing the Maximals to forget about their internal squabbles for now. As they engaged in the fire fight with the two flyers, Optimus noticed the rock wall above them was shaking and he called to his team.
"Hold your fire! We might cause an avalanche!" Optimus warned the other Maximals to stop their firing.
"Are yer wires crossed!? They're coming back!" Wulgtrap complained as he knew that if they didn't fire back, they'd be blasted into spare parts.
Optimus surveyed the terrain as he looked around. He came to a decision and said to his team. "I'll handle them!"
Suddenly, the mouth of his Rajang mode's head opened up and fired off a jet-like rocket from within it's mouth, sending the Maximal Leader soaring through the night sky and towards the two Predacon flyers. He then pushed a few buttons on his fore arm, causing his Rajang horns to rotate 90 degrees towards his head, turning the horns into missile launchers.
As the two Predacons continued diving towards the Maximal Leader, their bodies began to show signs of the Energon Field build-up, for the third time today. Taking this chance, Optimus fired his twin missiles at the two flyers. It flew past them and exploded, causing a shockwave that messed up their flight controls temporarily, and spin uncontrollably in the air. Optimus stopped in mid-air before flying back the way he came.
When the two stopped spinning in the air, they felt as though they couldn't do anymore as they began flying away from their enemies and back with the rest of the troops.
Velocibot, however, spotted their retreat as he snarled towards the other Maximals. "NOW! While they're weak!"
The Predacon warrior rapidly shot his optic beams from his eyes at the two retreating flyers, unaware that as his optic beams fired at the two, they had also hit the stalactites above the Maximals. Some of the stalactites above them were unfortunately right over Barronox and Zinogtor.
As the pointed rocks and other debris began to fall down on them, Barronox, noticing that Zinogtor hadn't even noticed yet, pushed the young Maximal out of the way as they both managed to escape the falling rocks unharmed.
"I knew it ya traitor! Ya tried to scrap my pals!" Wulgtrap said, pointing a finger at Velocibot.
"What are you talking about, vermin?" Velocibot questioned Wulgtrap as he really had no idea what he was talking about.
With a force stronger than what the taller mech was anticipating, Wulgtrap had pushed Velocibot down to the ground and, aiming his blaster to the apparent traitor's forehead.
"Once a Pred, always a Pred..." Wulgtrap spatted at Velocibot as he stood on top of the Ex-Predacon's chestplate.
Before he could even pull the trigger, Wulgtrap felt a larger hand clasping around his own and take his blaster away from the Explosion Expert.
Looking for the one who did that, Wulgtrap saw that it was Optimus Primal who had defended Velocibot once again.
"That's enough, Wulgtrap! It was an accident!" Optimus reprimands him.
"Sez yuh!" Wulgtrap challenged Optimus' leadership.
"That's right. SAYS ME!" Optimus shot back, his optics sparking with a neon red light. He then got into the smaller Maximal's face. "YOU WANNA QUESTION MY ORDERS, ONE. MORE. TIME?!" Optimus shouted jabbing a finger into Wulgtrap's chestplate.
Wulgtrap looked like he was about to shoot something back at his leader, but Optimus let out a vicious growl before he could say anything, scaring him.
"I just don't trust Predacons…" Wulgtrap grumbled with a blaster aimed at Velocibot's forehead. But his finger off the trigger. No one noticed Optimus' optics returning to normal.
Shoving the blaster away from his forehead, Velocibot stood back up again, his extremely taller body now towering over the Wulg, glaring down at the Maximal, his fist clenching just wanting to punch him.
Wulgtrap, not even afraid, glared back at him. Optimus looked to the horizon, ignoring how the other Maximals were gathering.
The Rajang-based transformer looked back and spoke to his group of barely team-functional Maximals.
"We've got enough trouble with Megatron's crew without fighting amongst ourselves. Now come on!" Optimus tells them to keep going.
Reverting back to their Monster Modes, the Maximals continued their racing speed to get to the Energon first. Optimus prayed to the Transformer Deity, Primus, that they were not too late.
None of the Maximals noticed 5 figures following behind them, hiding from their sensors.
At the mountain...
The sun was rising as the Predacons were nearing the top of the mountain.
Megatron, though annoyed that the Maximals were not destroyed, was more overjoyed that they were closer to the crystals. In his revelry, he mused. "Sooo much Energon… I can almost taste its power…"
But, before they had even reached the top of the mountain, Nersyllantus had did some calculations on their way up and realized something important that the Predacons needed to be wary of.
"The Energon fields would destroy us in our Robot mode in less than a cycle! We will have to stay in Beast form, and Optimus and the Maximals are coming!" Nerscyllantus warns their Deviljho Predacon Leader.
"Then they too will have to remain in Beast form as well." Megatron says to Nerscyllantus. "I will deal with Optimus, personally." He said as he and his men continued up the mountain side.
With the Maximals, at the base of the mountain...
Optimus and the Maximals continued to climb their way up the mountain until the Rajang's hand reached out and grabbed the plateau of Energon.
Looking at it Optimus's eyes widened at the wonder and beauty of it all. That quickly ended when he saw a familiar greenish-purple Dinosaur-like figure jump onto the other side of the mountain's plateau and landed with a mighty roar at the Maximal's Leader.
The other Maximals and Predacons soon joined up with their leaders as they began to glare at one other. Megatron grinned as he saw Optimus, he then spoke out to him.
"Across the galaxy, it has come to this, Optimus Primal. Face-to-face, tooth-to-claw… yeess. Have you anything you wish to say before I tear your optics out from their sockets?" Megatron declared as he stared down at Optimus Primal.
"I'd say that's Prime." Optimus Primal growled as he narrowed his eyes at the Deviljho. "Let's do it! RAAAAAHHH!!"
"Indeed." Megatron grinned a very toothy grin. "Predacons, ATTAAAACK!" He declared to his four other Predacons.
"CHAAAARGE!!!" Optimus yelled as he, Zinogtor, Barronox, Wulgtrap, and Velocibot charged at the Predacons.
Soon, the Maximals and Predacons clashed with one another and broke apart into individual fights with one another.
Optimus and Megatron stayed in the middle of the mountain's plateau as the Rajang Maximal Leader gave the Deviljho Predacon Leader a hard right uppercut to his jaw, knocking him out for a while. Meanwhile, Zinogtor was taking on Seltanator, with the Seltas Predacon stayed in the air to avoid Zinogtor's attacks, but the Zinogre Maximal pounced up at him and brought the giant bug back down onto the ground with him. Velocibot, on the other hand, was taking on Akuranok, with the Velocidrome Maximal trying to take bites out of the Akura Vashimu Predacon, while Akuranok was trying to cut him with his claws. Barronox tried to run over Terralos, only for the Astalos Predacon to move out of the way at the last minute and causing the Barroth Maximal to crash straight through a boulder. Nerscyllantus tried to jump at Wulgtrap, only for the Wulg Maximal to instead jump up on top of the Nerscylla Predacon and pull on his fangs.
Back with Optimus Primal and Megatron, Megatron was charging straight at Optimus, knocking him onto the ground. He then tried to bite Optimus's head off, but the Leader of the Maximal struggled to stop him from doing so.
"Admit defeat, Maximal. The Energon shall be ours!" Megatron struggled as he tried to bring his head closer around Optimus Primal's head.
"Not... if... I can... help it." Optimus grunted as he tried to push Megatron off, but the greenish-purple Deviljho stomped on Optimus' gut causing him to lose his grip around Megatron's jaws.
"So be it." Megatron stated with narrow eyes as he lunged his head down at Optimus Primal's head.
And just as Megatron was about to crush Optimus' head within his massive toothy jaws, the Predacon Leader was suddenly blinded by a bright flash of light that caused him to step off of Optimus' chest and back away from him, just then he felt something quickly wrap around his legs and make him fall down to the ground.
"Huh?" Optimus said as he looked up to see who saved his life.
Optimus Primal spotted a familiar male human with familiar blue hair that was tipped with red at the ends wielding a Sword and Shield that looked to have been carved out of some kind of red-scaled winged Monster, but the red scales on the Sword and Shield seem to have gone through better days, standing in between Optimus and Megatron.
Optimus then looked around and noticed the familiar figure's of Puss, Makoto, Aiden, and Erica having arrived and helping the other Maximals fight off against the Predacons, using their skills as Hunters to their advantage against the enemies own Monster Modes. Even if two of them didn't have weapons, they were able to tell the two Maximals they paired up with, what to avoid and what/when to attack.
Optimus then looked back at Jaycee with a disappointed look on his face, but inside he was thankful for the young Hunter for saving his aft.
"I thought I ordered you to stay onboard the Axalon?" Optimus questioned Jaycee. "Get out of here!" He ordered the Hunter.
But Jaycee didn't listen to the Maximal Leader, instead he turned around to look at Optimus Primal with a serious and determined look in his eyes.
"Optimus, I know you're just trying to be a good leader but we know how to deal with the Predacon's Monster Modes. You do not, so let us help you." Jaycee tells Optimus to let them help.
Optimus looked around and saw how Jaycee's friends all held their own against the Predacons, even when the Maximals were struggling. So, looking back at Jaycee's, Optimus made his decision.
"Okay, what do we do?" Optimus asked Jaycee what the two of them should do against Megatron.
"I don't know at the moment." Jaycee said as Megatron slowly started to get back up to his feet. "What I DO know is that we both aren't strong enough to take down a Deviljho, especially if that Deviljho is Megatron, and strategy might not work against someone like him, oh, if only we had some sort of.. power-up." Suddenly, an idea popped itself into Jaycee's head the moment he said "power-up".
Jaycee then looks at Optimus like he was the key to their plan on beating Megatron.
"Wait, I got it! Zinogtor said that you guys took on the forms of the Monster's of our world, correct?" Jaycee says looking at Optimus with a smile.
"Yes, but I fail to see how's tha-"
"Then that means that you guys must also have the same abilities as the Monsters of our world." Jaycee interrupted Optimus with a grin.
Optimus quickly understood what Jaycee was getting at.
"I think I get what your saying." Optimus said with a grin. "Just tell me what I have to do."
"Okay, I'm going to need you to close your eyes." Jaycee said with a smirk, causing Optimus to look at him. "Just do it." He said. 'Let's just hope this works.' He thought to himself.
Optimus closed his eyes and listened to only Jaycee's voice speaking to him.
"Now, think of anything in your life, ANYTHING at all, that could or did make you mad." Jaycee tells Optimus to think of anything in his life that could make him angry. "And I want you to focus on those moments in your life only."
Optimus started to think before he let out a series of lowly growls as he remembered all the times that he was mad in his life back on Cybertron, from his childhood to when Wulgtrap's questions his skills as a leader, they all started to make him feel angered and even enraged at some points.
"How do feel, Optimus?" Jaycee asked Optimus as he looked at Megatron who was rocking himself back and forth to get back onto his feet.
"Furious." Optimus growled, his eyes still closed. But you could feel the rage in his voice as much as you could hear it.
"Good, now I want you channel that anger as a source of power, like a storm of lighting and thunder. And I want you to let it flow throughout your body." Jaycee said with a grin as he pulled his sword and shield out and looked at Megatron, who started to pick himself up.
Optimus's Rajang fur started to spark with neon red electricity as his fur started to glow with the same neon red color around his horns, back, neck, chest, shoulders, and arms. A symbol had soon formed itself on the front of his chest that looked similar to his great ancestor, Optimus Prime, and his old faction, The Autobots.
"Open your eyes, Optimus." Jaycee tells Optimus to open his eyes now.
When Optimus opened his eyes he saw his glowing neon red marking fur as he looked at himself in surprise and shock at what happened to himself.
"What's... happpened to me?" Optimus asked as he looked over at himself and his neon red markings.
"You've just tapped into the powers that all Monsters have, Optimus. The Enraged State." Jaycee said with a smile. Optimus looked at him for an answer. "It basically gives a Monster more power in a battle."
Optimus then looked at his hand, it sparked with neon red lighting through his fingers. Optimus the smirked and clenched his Rajang fist tightly, before looking back at Jaycee. "I like the sound of that."
Megatron was downright furious now, not only did Optimus Primal just crashed his ship on this planet, despite it having Energon. But that tiny little human had the audacity to knock him over onto his side. He soon picked himself back up and you could feel the insane amount of blind anger and hatred that he was feeling inside his Deviljho Mode. Neon purple electricity soon ran throughout his body.
Megatron soon let out a mighty and terrifying roar that shook the mountain ITSELF as neon purple lighting coursed throughout his body as a symbol formed on both sides of his Tyrannosaurus Rex-like thighs that looked very similar to his great ancestor, Megatron, and his old faction, The Decepticons.
Megatron has also entered his very own Enraged State, but instead of like Optimus in where he had control of his anger, The Leader of the Predacon's enraged state was more violent and he looked just about ready to attack ANYTHING.
Optimus Primal, banging his chest at Megatron, challenging the Deviljho Predacon Leader to a battle, let out his own might roar at the Predacon Leader.
Megatron was the first to charge, intent of destroying Optimus, and so both Optimus Primal and Jaycee charged at the Enraged Megatron, both the Maximal Leader and Predacon Leader coursing with rage throughout their whole body; one with controlled rage, the other with un-controlled rage.
Megatron tried to strike at Optimus Primal with a swing of his massive tail, but the Maximal Leader had avoided the attack and socked the Predacon Leader in his jaw. While Jaycee jumped onto Megatron's tail and started to run up along his back. Megatron, spotting Jaycee running along his back, readied a point-blank neon purple blast at him. But it was interrupted by Optimus uppercutting Megatron's jaw causing the Deviljho Predacon to focus his attention back onto Optimus Primal, who grabbed him by his mouth and neck, holding the Predacon Leader in place, but the Predacon soon felt the sting of metal hitting the side of his neck and noticed Jaycee sliding down the side of his neck with his sword before he hopped off and landed on the ground.
Wanting to kill the tiny human for even daring to attack him, he shook his head rapidly to get himself loose of Optimus Primal's grip on him. It worked and just as Megatron was about to eat the human whole, he rolled underneath his oncoming jaw and struck Megatron's Beast Mode legs with his sword, causing him to be stunned for a while.
He was knocked out of his stunned state by Optimus Primal punching him in the face, causing Megatron to let out a roar before he charged right at the Rajang. He picked Optimus up by his neck before dragging him across the ground, but Optimus was able to free himself of Megatron's grasp. He then opened Megatron's Deviljho mouth, he soon felt his fist surge with power, and so, he punched Megatron down his throat causing a huge blast of lighting to surge out from Optimus Primal's new attack, The Thunder Punch, knocking Megatron down onto the ground. Acting quickly, Optimus pinned Megatron, using his right hand to clamp the Predacon's mouth shut and his left foot to pin his leg down to prevent him from moving.
Soon, Optimus's neon red Enraged State disappeared as he returned back to his normal Optimus Primal-style Rajang self.
Optimus Primal and Megatron then noticed Jaycee walking towards the latter.
"What... ARE... you?" Megatron growled as he looked at the approaching Jaycee, his mouth being kept shut by Optimus pushing his hand down on him.
His Enraged State was slowly disappearing since he couldn't let his anger out on anything or anymore at the moment.
Jaycee then put his foot down on top of Megatron's snout and looked him dead in the eyes and said to him.
"I'm... a Monster Hunter."
Jaycee then took his foot off of Megatron's snout and walked back to his friends and the rest of the Maximals.
"Give up Megatron, it's over!" Optimus tells the pinned down Megatron to give up.
"It is... NEVER... Over! Nnoooo! Megatron, TERRORIZE!!!" Megatron shouted as he transformed into his Robot Mode, sending Optimus flying off of his back. Optimus landed by some Energon Crystals, but his leg got scrapped by one crystal as he skidded across the ground.
And in that instance, Megatron was quickly affected by the Energon Fields within the mountain the moment he transformed into his Robot Mode.
"For if I must die, then I shall take you... with me!" Megatron declared as he aimed his Deviljho head at Optimus Primal and fired a missile at him.
But when this looked like it was going to be the end of Optimus Primal once again, Velocibot quickly rushed towards Optimus' aid and swatted the missile with his tail, redirecting it to hit the Energon Crystals.
The effect were instant, the Energon Crystals were all shaking and making a weird noises causing the fights between Maximals and Hunters vs. Predacons to come to a halt and look at what was happening.
And what they saw, made everyone look at the Energon Crystals in fear.
"It's gonna blow!" Barronox cried out as everyone on the Mountain looked at each other with fear at the soon to explode Energon.
"EVERYBOT FOR THEMSELVES!!" Terralos screamed as he flew away from the mountain with the other Predacons leaving the mountain as well before it could explode.
Aiden quickly grabbed some Energon crystals that were not shaking or making the same weird noises and put them into his pouch.
Meanwhile, Jaycee and Velocibot, who were helping Optimus back up onto his feet were worried about how big the blast was going to be once it went boom.
"Time to fade, Heroes!" Zinogtor yells out to the other Maximals.
Megatron's motionless body remained sparking from the Energon field build-up before his optics went dark.
"Get the humans and Palico out of here!" Optimus ordered Zinogtor to get the humans and Palico as far away from here as possible.
The Hunters and Palico, knowing what needed to happen, quickly got on Zinogtor's back as he took them as far down the mountain as fast as he could go.
Optimus had climbed on the back of Barronox as Velocibot helped him up, the latter then grabbed Wulgtrap in his mouth and raced back down the mountain.
Both the 5 Maximals and the 4 Predacons all hightailed it down the mountain before it could explode, as fast as they possibly could.
The vibrations and the shaking became more violent as the energy within the Energon Crystals continued to glow brighter and brighter.
Suddenly, Megatron's body sprang back to life when no one was around and he gave an angered roar before quickly hurrying off of the mountain top before the Energon exploded, he screamed as he left the mountain.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Megatron screamed as he leapt off the mountain.
In Astera...
We see Chief Isamu looking out towards the Ancient Forest with worry clear in his eyes. He had gotten news that the Todi-Karachi had been slain, but that the Hunter, Jaycee and his Palico Felyne, Puss, or Handler, Makoto had not returned, it also worried him that the two A-Listers, Aiden and Makoto have also not returned from their simple gathering quest.
And to make matters worst, the top of one of the mountains in the distance was suddenly and somehow destroyed and inside it was large blue glowing crystals, the search party that he was about to send out were readying themselves, preparing gear and anything essential that they will need for their trip.
"*sigh* Where have you five gone?" Chief Isamu questioned to himself, he had his theories that they had went to go and look for the two flaming rocks that hit the New World last night, but why now, why not earlier? It just didn't make sense to him.
"Still no report of them, huh?" A deep voice called out. Chief Isamu didn't have to turn around to know who's voice was that.
Walking up from behind Chief Isamu, was a muscular man, who's appearance would mistake him for a Rajang. His face wears a serious and determined expression. He wears the same Research Commision outfit that Jaycee wore. This is Admiral Hironori, but he just likes to be called The Admiral, at times.
"I'm worried. First, two of my A-Listers, Jaycee and Makoto, had accidentally fallen off the ship upon their arrival and onto the back of Zorah Magdaros and both had to fly all the way here." Chief Isamu tells the Admiral. "Then, strange things have been happening like those flaming rocks from last night. And now both the two A-Listers I mentioned and their Palico, as well two of my other Hunters have not returned."
"I don't blame you, Commander." Admiral Hironori agrees with him. "If those two were my A-Listers, I'd be worried just like you."
Suddenly, the sound of a large explosion was heard throughout Astera as everyone looked around for the cause, before they all got knocked off of their feet and onto the ground, many that fell were near the edge of something were saved either by nets or people who happened to see them falling, thankfully no one was injured too badly by the blast wave.
Many of the flying Monsters that they use for transport strayed to try and fly away from the explosion.
"What was that?!" Chief Isamu questioned in shock as he steady himself as everyone got back up to their feets.
The Admiral noticed something wrong with one of the mountains in the distance and points to it, gaining Chief Isamu's attention.
"Over there! Look!" Admiral Hironori stated as he points at the top of a mountain in the distance. Or really, the top of a mountain that SHOULD be there to be more precise.
The entire top of the mountain was gone, as well as the strange blue crystals that glowed electric blue, leaving nothing but falling rocks that most could barely even see falling.
"What is going on?" Chief Isamu quietly asked as he had no idea what was happening, just like the rest of HQ.
Far away from the Mountain...
The Maximals and Hunters had escaped as far as way as they could from the explosion; the Maximals, the four Hunters, and the Palico, all watched as the Energon exploding with immense force, showering them all in dirt and sending rocks towards their direction. Wulgtrap, Jaycee, Makoto, Erica, Puss, and Aiden had to jump out of the way from some of the bigger rocks.
When the shower of rock and dirt had finished, Optimus, still looking at where the large Energon Crystals once stood were as he offhandedly said to Velocibot. "Thanks…"
"My action did not imply any loyalty, Optimus. I owed you my life and now we are merely even…" Velocibot stated as this was just him repaying Optimus for saving his life back on the land bridge.
Smiling slightly, Optimus acknowledged his new comrade's words. "I'll accept that." He said with a calm smile.
Optimus Primal then turned around to look at Jaycee, Makoto, Puss, Erica, and Aiden.
"Thank you for your help humans." Puss coughed with a raised brow. "...and Palico. Without your help, we may not have been able to stop the Predacons." Optimus tells them. "We could really use your help in stopping them in the future. As well as help us master our new Monster Modes, as you call them. If that's okay with you?"
"You can count on us, Optimus, those Predacons will be running with their tails between their legs!" Jaycee said with a confident smirk, before realizing what he said and looking at the Ex-Predacon with a sheepish grin. "No offense, Velocibot."
"Offense slightly taken." Velocibot snarled at Jaycee.
"We'll try and help the best that we can, Optimus." Makoto said, she was clearly nervous but was willing to help the Maximals stop the Predacons plans.
"We'll show those Preda-Creeps what we Hunters can do!" Aiden said with a grin. This was their home and he was going to help defend it.
"You will need all the help you can get, so count me in." Erica said, wanting to help the Maximals win this war.
"My whiskers are just itching to hurt some Purredacons!" Puss hissed as he pulled out his hammer as he gave Optimus Primal a grin.
"Yeah, that's sweet and all, but Megatron's gone and so is the Energon. So, it's over. Can we go home now?" Wulgtrap asked, hoping the Boss Ape would say yes.
"No, Wulgtrap, for now we're stranded here with the Predacons on this planet. Megatron may return and there is still more Energon. If they ever get enough, they could conquer the entire galaxy." Optimus said as he looked away from the group and out at the new world that they may soon call home.
"Not to mention, all the stasis pods that we had to release from the Axalon into the planet's orbit could come crashing down on to this planet at any moment." Barronox tells Wulgtrap, gaining the attention of the four Hunters and Palico.
"Hold on, what do you mean Stasis Pods? What did you guys do before you landed here?" Makoto asked the Maximals what happened before they arrived to their world.
Optimus sighed before telling them that before they had crashed landed on their planet and were entering their planet's atmosphere, they had to release all of the Stasis Pods aboard the Axalon for their safety, and right now they were orbiting their planet as they speak.
"So not only do we have to stop Megatron and his Predacon army, we also gotta find any Stasis Pods that may land on our world before the Predacons do?" Jaycee said realizing this just got a bit more difficult, steeling his nerves he said. "No matter, we'll help you anyway we can Optimus."
"That's good to hear." Optimus smiled before he turned around to look at the destroyed Mountsin with a determined look on his face.
"So, for now, let the battle be here, on this strange world with the strange creatures known as Monsters that will do what they must to protect themselves and their kin, and let it be called... THE MONSTER WARS." Optimus shouted as he raised his fist in the air.
The sounds of many Monsters roaring and screeching could be heard all around the New World as all the Monsters, big and small, knew that their world had now become a battleground for the Maximals and Predacons battle for their and the entire galaxy's fate.
Later that night... (Linkin Park - What I've done)
Later that night, once the Maximals had returned back to the Axalon and had to bid the four Hunters and Palico farewell for now, Optimus was seen sitting on one of the large tree branches high above their base as he looked out across the horizon of the New World, taking in the beauty of the land they now called home.
As he gazed out over the jungle, taking in the natural beauty as the sun begins to set, Optimus couldn't help but reflect on the events that had brought him and his team to this point, and it was here that he decided that now was as good a time as any... to send a message to his fellow Maximals that are stuck in their Stasis Pods just floating above in the planet's orbit until they enter the planet's atmosphere.
"To any one who hears this message; Our chances of stopping Megatron has ended up with me and my crew stuck on a strange and bizzare alien world. Our chase for the rouge Predacons has yielded a reward to us: the same strange and new world we now call… Home. We live amongst its people, hiding in plain sight. But watching over them in secret. Waiting… protecting. And, with the help of our five young friends, we may be able to accomplish our mission." His eyes trailed back towards the immense jungle, but his gaze was firmly locked towards the sky above. "For I have witnessed the species of this planet's display immense acts of courage and bravery when in the face of danger. In that sense, all though we, as separate species are worlds apart, just like us, there is more to them than meets the eye."
Optimus then climbed up the tallest tree that he could climb to reach a better view of the sky. "My name is Optimus Primal. And I send this message to any fellow Cybertronian's that we may come across along our journey; We... are here, We... are waiting."
And that's the second part done. That was a good ending to my first ever 2 part chapter.
I based the final fight against Optimus Primal and Megatron on the Turf War between Savage Deviljho and Rajang.
Before you question, wait why does Jaycee has a Flame Knife II weapon, it actually has a story behind it. And the only hint I am giving you was that he did not make it, but instead given to it by his father as a gift before Jaycee left for the New World.

Also how did you like the reference to Transformers (2007) movie, I figured it would fit as an end to the second chapter.
