"You what?! You broke up with Sabella?!" Thomas shouted over the phone. Paul was talking to him and told him what happened. "Dude! She tried moving to New York because of you! She's been a big help! You two were great together! What the hell happened?!"

"I don't know what to tell you, Thomas. It just happened." Paul said. Paul ended things with Sabella, but he was able to restore Monica's memories of their marriage and their relationship. They're the only ones that know the truth now. With Paul hanging at Monica's apartment, she couldn't help but chuckle at the situation.

"You are crazy to let a girl like that go! You find these great girls and you just let them go! What the hell is wrong with you?!" Thomas said.

"I don't know about. Sometimes they come back. You know that old saying about loving something to let it go and then it comes back." Paul said. "We'll talk later." He ended the call before Thomas could give him a harder time.

"You think if we told everyone the truth, they believe us?" Monica said as she dug around the time capsule on her bed.

"If their memories don't come back like ours did, probably not." Paul said. Regardless of what happened, the two of them are just glad they found each other again.

"There's one thing I don't understand. I buried this time capsule during that dimensional stuff because I believed you would pull through." Monica said. "When we made that deal, I thought all traces of our marriage was erased. So, how come all this stuff is still here."

"The best I can come up with is that it's some sort of time-space paradox that's too complicated for us to understand." Paul said with the two of them sharing a laugh.

"I don't mean to sound selfish or narcissistic because I do feel bad for Sabella, but seeing as how you broke up with someone like her to be with me is a real boost in self-esteem." Monica said as she was feeling good about herself.

"Goodie for you." Paul said as he sat with her. "I wish I didn't have to, but I felt like I would have been lying to her. The relationship just didn't feel real anymore, like if we never made the deal, she and I never would have been together."

"I get it. You really did love her, but I think you did the right thing, even if I didn't get my memories back." Paul said.

"So, what do we do now? The rest of the world doesn't know the truth." Paul said. "Do we just act like everything is normal or whatever."

"We don't have act anything because this is how things were." Monica said. "They may not understand, but they'll come around to accept it. Besides, how many couples get to react their wedding?"

"You're already thinking of redoing our wedding?" Paul questioned with humor.

"Of course. Our friends and family would love it." Monica said. "We dated for eight years, and we did break up in both realities, but you proposed when we tried getting back together. This isn't much different."

"Uh... I think we have to think some things over, but it sounds good to me." Paul said with the two of them kissing each other. With their memories back, it's like nothing changed. However, they'll have to put their plans on hold for a while. Paul's phone went off again and it was Thomas again. Groaning with annoyance, he answered. "Thomas, we'll talk about Sabella later."

"It's not that. Ray just gave me a call. Are you near a T.V.?" Thomas said as he sounded frantic.

"Yeah. Why?" Paul asked.

"Turn on the news." Thomas said. This sounded rather important, so Paul hurried. He turned on the television and saw the news was about Ryker's. They were covering about a situation happening and how prisoners were starting to tear the place apart.

"Oh no! What happened?!" Paul said.

"I don't know. Someone opened up a couple cells and soon all hell broke loose!" Thomas said. "Ray says that the police are trying to handle it, but some of our more dangerous villains have already been released. They're getting swamped."

"Get Lindsay! I'll meet you both there!" Paul said. This was a serious situation and something has to be done before too many dangerous criminals are released. "Sorry, Monica. I know we just got back together, but I need to go."

"I know, I have ears." Monica said as she handed Paul his costume. "Just be careful out there. There are a lot of people out there that want you dead."

"What else is new?" Paul said as he gave her a quick kiss and hurried out. With so many dangerous criminals on the verge of escaping, he has to move fast. What he doesn't know is that there's something waiting for Paul there.

...

Ryker's

As a storm began to brew over New York, trouble has begun. Ryker's has turned into chaos. The prison has lost control over it's prisoners and they have been let loose. The criminals were showing no mercy as they didn't want their freedom taken away. They wasted in no time in attacking the police. Ray and other officers tried to handle the situation, but it wasn't looking good.

"Freeze!" Ray called as he used his gun and started shooting, but some criminals took cover behind a wall. It got worse as something hit him in the back of the head and knocked him down. When Ray was on the ground, another prisoner grabbed his gun and aimed it right at him.

"How ironic that you'll die by your own gun." The prisoner said as he was about to shoot him, but that was when helped arrived. Spider-Man came swinging in and kicked the prisoner down.

"Those orange jumpsuits are better than black and white stripes. It makes these guys easier targets." Paul said as he webbed the prisoner down. "Are you okay?" He asked as he helped Paul up.

"I've been better." Ray said.

"Spider! Ray!" They looked up and saw Venom arriving with Blite hopping off his back.

"I've heard of prison break, but it looks like they're actually breaking the prison." Lindsay said with her seeing they're tearing the place apart.

"Ray, what happened?" Thomas questioned.

"I don't know! Someone opened a few of the cells, especially some in the Raft." Ray said. "When that happened, they started to tear the place apart."

"The Raft? Some of our enemies are locked in there? We can't let them out." Paul said as he didn't like any of this.

"We can't let any of them out, but we're stretching pretty thin here." Ray said.

"What's the plan, Spider?" Thomas said.

"The criminals in the Raft are more dangerous, and more important. We'll head there." Paul said.

"I'm going to aid other officers and get the system under control; try to keep as many, if we can't get all of the prisoners, stuck here." Ray said. "All of you be careful. There's some sort of criminal genius behind all of this." Ray took off to try and handle the situation. As thunder roared across the sky, Paul and his friends turned to the largest part of Ryker's: the Raft. Hopefully, they can keep some of the more dangerous criminals from escaping.

...

Ling

As all the madness was happening outside Ling was still in his cell. He didn't want to take part in whatever it was out there. He was restricted either way. However, it was going to stay that way. He looked to the door of his cell and saw it open up. Who he saw in there was quite a shock.

"What's going on here?! What are you doing?!" Ling questioned.

"I'm not here for you. I'm here for that other you. He would be much more useful, and I did make a deal with your old men to bring you back. I'm afraid I'm going to have to undo all that hard work of yours to keep your other self away."

"No... No! You can't let him out!" Ling pleaded, but whoever this man was didn't really care.

...

The Raft

Paul and the others hurried inside the Raft. They had to make sure none of the criminals get out. When they made their way inside, there were already criminals in there and tearing the place apart. Even the villains without powers were tearing the place apart.

"Are we too late for the party?" Thomas said.

"Looks like the party is just getting started." Lindsay said.

"We need to..." Paul was about to explain the plan, but stopped when a strong gust of wind came out of nowhere. "What's with this wind? Wait. This wind...!"

"Welcome to the party, Spider-Man!" Paul looked up and spotted another one of his old villains.

"Hurricane?!" Paul said. "Are you behind this?!"

"If you want answers, come and get them!" Hurricane dared and just flew off with the other convicts noticing them.

"It's that spider team! Get them!" The convicts went at them and the three of them prepared for a fight.

"You guys must love getting your butts kicked!" Paul said as he jumped high over them. He landed on the other side and webbed a couple of them and pulled them back. He then jumped at them again and kicked one in the back of the head.

"I hate his dumb acrobat tricks." Lindsay tried fighting one off. She ducked down from a left hook and kicked him right in the gut. She gave another strong hit back in the head. Just then, a big one came from behind and lifted her up. He tried putting the squeeze on her and crush her.

"Don't you know you should never put your hands on a lady without her permission?!" Lindsay said as she actually swung her leg down and hit it right where all men feared. He had to let her go after that. Then, she jumped up and kicked him right in the head. "I say I'm sorry, but I'm not. That's what happens when you don't treat a woman right."

"Get back in your cells!" Thomas said as he grabbed one and threw him in one of the cells. A few of them came at him, but Thomas jumped up to a higher level. Then, he jumped back down and hit one across the face with him jumping back and doing the splits to kick two more.

"Venom! Blite! Do you can here, then catch up! I'm going after Hurricane!" Paul said and swung through the facility.

"Spider, wait!" Thomas called as he didn't want him to go alone, but some of the criminals got in his way. Paul swung over and landed down in front of a door.

"Time to bag that windbag." Paul said as he tried prying the door open. When he did, he ended up getting punched in the face. He looked up and saw Fang. "Fang?! You're out too?!"

"This way, Spider!" Fang dared as that tiger took off through the prison.

"Why's Fang running instead of fighting? What's going on here?!" Paul questioned as something didn't seem right. Paul chased after Fang to try and catch that tiger. Paul made his way through the prison until he ended up in another section and landed on a railing with more prisoners running wild. "This is bad. I've got to do something or..." Just then, his spider sense alerted him of danger. He turned around only to have something attack him from behind and knocked him into the ground. He looked back up and was met with another of his villains. "Iguana? What are you doing here? What's going on?"

"Come now, Spider-Man. Do you really expect a little arachnid to survive a jungle like this?" Iguana taunted before slithering off.

"Get Spider-Man!" Some of the prisoners attacked, but Paul unleashed a series of webs and tried to get the prisoners to stick.

"Good thing I never run out." Paul said and took off. That was when Paul got a call from Ray. "Ray, please tell me you have good news."

"We're trying to get the system back under control so the cells don't open up. How are things on your end?" Ray asked.

"Hurricane, Fang, and Iguana are already running freely. I'm trying to chase them down." Paul said as he made his way through the prison. "I think I'm gonna..." His senses alerted him of danger again. This time, he jumped up and avoided a blast of wind that came at him from Hurricane. "I'm going to get a spider headache from my spider sense constantly going off."

"Keep up, Spider-Man! I thought this was a chase!" Hurricane taunted and flew off with Paul chasing after him. Paul found himself outside and swung after him.

"Tell me what's going on, Hurricane, and I promise this won't hurt so badly!" Paul said.

"You're the one that's going to get hurt!" Hurricane said as he kept flying away.

"Get back here!" Paul shouted as he shot a line at him and was able to connect to him. "I've got you now!" He claimed as he pulled himself in.

"Think again!" Hurricane shouted as he had some help. Something else came flying in and tackled Paul, allowing Hurricane to fly off. Paul was surprised to see it was Eagle with his flight suit again.

"Eagle?! You're in on this too?!" Paul said.

"That's right, and I'm gonna..." He didn't finish that as Paul shot webbing right in his face.

"On second thought, don't care that you are!" Paul said and hit him right in the face and got free. Paul shot another line and landed down on a post to catch his breath. "This is insane. What's going on around here?" He got another call from Ray. "If this is worse news, I don't want to hear it. I just got off a ride with Eagle."

"So, you don't want to know that Ling Leng got out. That makes FIVE of your worst enemies roaming free." Ray told him.

"Five?" Paul said as that reminded him of something else.

"We've lost control. Some of them are heading to the city." Ray said as the bad news just kept on coming and it didn't seem like there was any good. As the rain began to come down, even the heavens were in a rotten mood from all of this. "I've got to go. You should get out as well."

"No, we need to find out who's behind all of this." Paul said. "I've got to try and stop the more dangerous criminals from getting out."

"Good luck." Ray said and ended the call.

"Five... We're just one away from... It couldn't be." Paul said as this is making him think of something he faced before. He looked up and saw Hurricane landed down on the highest point on Ryker's. Whatever is going on, Paul is going to do whatever he can to stop this.
