Chapter 10: Coach Koeper gets Arrested

Ruthie was playing with Billy when she heard the doorbell.

"Would you get that for me," Mary called to her little sister from somewhere in the house.

"Sure, Mary," Ruthie called to her as she got up to go get the door. Ruthie walked to the door and looked out the window to see the Coach Koeper waiting at the door. Ruthie left the door locked and ran to find Mary grabbing Billy and pulling him behind her.

"Billy stay in your room until I come get you," Ruthie told her nephew.

"Why what is going on," Billy asked.

"I will tell you later," Ruthie said. Ruthie than ran to the phone. She first called Kevin at the police station to come over quick. Then dialed her mom and Wilson to tell them to come over quick the Coach was at the door.

Kevin was first to arrive to the house. He quickly ran to the back door of the house, to check on every one in the house.

"Is everyone okay in here," Kevin called as he walked through the house.

Ruthie found Kevin walking through the house.

"Everyone is fine, He is still outside," Ruthie told him. Ruthie walked

Ruthie walked to the front door with Kevin following behind her. When she got there he was still standing there waiting. Kevin walked around her and opened up the door.

"Okay Coach Koeper, hands were I can see them," Kevin said. He put his hands up unknowingly why he was being arrested.

Coach Koeper willingly went with handcuffs. Once Kevin left with the Coach Koeper, Wilson, Annie, Eric, Sam, David and Lucy all showed up.

"You saved two lives and I thank you," Wilson said giving Ruthie a hug.

"I love my sister and nephew too much." Ruthie replied.

"Where is Billy," Sam and David asked in unison. Ruthie had forgotten completely about Billy until now.

"Why don't you two go play with Billy for awhile," Ruthie suggested. The twins nodded and ran to his room.

"How is Mary," Lucy asked her sister.

"She is in her room crying," Ruthie told her. Lucy and Wilson walked into the room to see Mary still crying.

"What is wrong," Lucy asked her older sister coming to sit next to her. Wilson came and sat on the opposite side of his wife. He reached then to get tissue from the dresser they shared.

"I am fine just scared," Mary sniffled as she took a tissue from her husband.

"It's okay Kevin has them at the station," Lucy calmly.

"Why did he even come over here and how did he find out where I live," Mary wanted to know.

"He probably looked it up in the school files," Wilson said. Mary shook her head and put it on his shoulder. Lucy stood up and started to walk out. She turned around to smile at her sister. I will leave you two alone.

When Lucy left Wilson hugged his wife tight.

"I am fine and so is Billy, and you will be too," Wilson said.

"I love you and so does Billy" Mary told her.

"I love you too" Wilson said. As Wilson squeezed her again and kissed her on the top of her forehead Billy came in with Annie and Eric following.

"We are leaving with Ruthie and the twins we wanted to check and see how you are doing" Annie asked her daughter. Mary got up and walked over to her parents to give them a hug.

"I will be in the morning." She told them.

"Good night then I love you," Annie and Eric said to her. Mary hugged her mom and dad and then picked up Billy and walked them to the door. She waved to them bye then took Billy to bed and tucked himself in.

"Good night Billy I love you," Mary told him.

"I love you too, what happened tonight," Billy wanted to know. Mary told him everything.

"I am glad your okay because I love you and I would miss you if you were gone," Billy said wrapping his arms around her.

"I would have missed you too and I Love you too," Mary said hugging her son again. Mary then stood up and tucked him in and walked out of the room turning off the light.

She went into the room she shared with Wilson and saw him in bed and waiting for her. Mary got into her pajamas and went to bed. She climbed in to bed and snuggled with her husband.

"Good night hun, I love you," Mary said kissing her husband.

"Good night hun I love you too," Wilson said kissing his wife back. Mary and Wilson then let go of one another and turned to fall asleep.
