Kuri and Reiko were partners for the Test of Courage.
At the sounds, Reiko's ears twitched.
Kuri was gazing at the mountain with silver eyes. "Izuku…"
"Somethings wrong isn't it?" Reiko asked.
Kuri winced. Deku's pain was her pain. "Yes. He's fighting. Kuri gripped the tree. "He's being reckless again."
Reiko grabbed her. "Come on. Let's go see if we can't help." She worried for Bakugo.
"Wait. You mustn't do that." Kuri was slowly falling into a trance.
"Do what? Help? Why?"
Kuri grabbed her and shot into the air, dropping her in front of Bakugo. "Keep him safe. I have to…" Kuri wavered at the pain. "Have to save deku!" Kuri flew off.
Bakugo looked up at the sky. "What's got birdie all upset?"
Reiko sighed. "Midoriya."

Kuri made it to the fight.
Deku was fighting Muscular and looking completely wrecked.
Kuri saw the damage and snarled. "Heavenly Barrage!"
Deku went to fight again, and Kuri stopped him.
"Back off zu. He hurt you. He's MINE!" She cried angrily.
"Kuri! Be careful!" Deku shouted back.
"What's this? Another one?" Muscular grinned.
"Oh you should NOT be smilin bitch." Kuri flipped and landed on his back pressing her hands to his temples. "DISURI! HATRED!"
Muscular's head shook, he turned red and his eyes rolled back as she let go and he fell to the ground.
Deku ran over, only to receive a SLAP from Kuri.
"Wh-what was that for?!" Deku said in shock.
"You didn't have to go alone to protect him! There were other people around and…and…" Kuri gripped the tree.
Deku held her up "I was the only one who knew where he was. And you….you've been doing it again havent you?"
"You could have asked for help."
"And this time? This time I took all of the pain." Kuri showed him that she was the one damaged and mangled, not him. "If you won't protect yourself, then protect me deku." Kuri flew up.
"Kuri!" Deku ran after her.
