The team was preparing for the upcoming battle. Kurai was practicing Lotis Style Martial Arts, as her fire bending would be gone during the eclipse. Katara was bending four streams of water into water skins, Toph was putting on her Blind Bandit battle armor, Hakoda was putting on a black Water Tribe helmet, Appa was shown fully dressed in his armor which Sokka made, and Aang was shaving his head to show his Air Nomad tattoos. He was joined by a koala sheep.
In the Fire Nation Palace, Zuko took off his head piece and armor, revealing the clothes underneath it and letting his hair hang down. He sat and wrote a letter. He looked in the water, remembering Kurai.
"Don't worry. I'll see you soon."
Zuko looked at the empty throne. "Goodbye Father."
Zuko knelt at a painting of his mother.
"I know I've made some bad choices, but today, I'm gonna set things right." He rose, picked up his sword, covered his head with the hood of his robe, turned his back and left.
