It was a new morning and Mimi woke still in the world of pokemon with the
rest of the digidestined. The sun was shinning brightly through the
hospitals windows and Mimi looked up to find herself looking into the blue
eyes of Matt. "Hey Mimi its time for you to wake up now. We are all going
into town with Ash, Misty and Brock, the others are almost awake" Matt said
slightly smiling before leaving to stand leaning against the arm of their
lounge
Mimi sighed and sat up on the lounge she had been sleeping on before getting up and quickly tidying up her hair and looking at her reflection in the window of before moving to sit around a small coffee table with the others. They were drinking hot chocolates as she sat down between Matt and Kari before Matt then handed her a hot chocolate smiling it was then Misty started talking.
"Well we are in Celadon City right now and you have 2 options...1 you can all go off and do what you want or 2 you can come with us." "Ahh guys what do you think?" Tai asked the rest of the digi-destined, and there was an all round approval for the second option. Misty smiled at Izzy before continuing "Well now you have two more options... You can go with Brock and Ash to the Celadon City pokemon gym and watch Ash go for his badge or you can come with me and I can show you around the city and get you your own first pokemon, don't worry you don't have to decide now, you can decide over breakfast" she finished.
The group left the Pokemon Centre and made their way down town to a nearby café where Misty, Ash and Brock told them a bit more about the pokemon society. After they had eaten their fill they went there separate ways with Ash, Brock along with TK and Kari who were happy staying with their digimon going to the pokemon gym and Misty and the rest of the digi- destined headed off towards the centre of the town.

Meanwhile Jesse, James, and Meowth of Team Rocket were hiding in the bushes watching..."um who are they?" James asked Jesse "how am I supposed to know, I couldn't hear a thing with someone's constant complaining of lack of food in my ear" she said staring harshly at Meowth. "What?? You cant expect me to work while I'm being nearly starved to death."

Misty led the digi-destined towards a big building situated near the centre of the town, opening the door and then ushering them in. The building looked twice as big inside as it did outside and it was full of people, mostly children, and their parents who were taking them to choose their first pokemon. Misty sat them down on some of lounges that were spread out in clusters around the store before taking a seat herself. Pulling out of her bag a poké ball, she began a detailed but basic explanation of its use and also allowing them to see the horsea it held.
"You all can go and take a look around...and oh if you see one resembling a yellow-orange duck called a psyduck do not choose one of them they are extremely dumb" and with that the remaining digi-destined left to explore the store with Misty. As they went along Misty explained to them about the different types of pokemon such as grass, water, fire, flying, physic, ghost, bug, electric etc.
It was Tai and Matt who were the first to choose their pokemon, Matt had chosen the fire type pokemon Growlithe while Tai had chosen the fire type pokemon Charmander, Misty sighed hopefully he would do a better job of training it if it got to Charizard. Tai now with his new pokemon moved off with the main group while Matt continued to look around the store at the unique range of pokemon with Mimi who was continuously asking his opinion on which one she should choose.
It was Mimi who next found a pokemon, an Eevee having instantly fallen in love with its cute appearance and then Sora and last Izzy having taken time in examining the capabilities of all his options with the help of his laptop. Sora had chosen the water pokemon Squirtle and Izzy the water pokemon Poliwag to the delight of Misty who loved all water pokemon.
