Mimi slowly pulled off her boots, laying them neatly on the bank-side
before letting Eevee out of its poké ball and carefully stepping into the
stream not wanting to slip and ruin her out fit. The water was cool and
refreshing coming halfway up her thighs but the next thing she knew she was
fully drenched having had Matt dive bomb her before pulling her under.
Mimi surfaced to hear the laughter of Sora and the others while she glared
at Matt.
"Mimi chill its only water" Matt said actually laughing along with the others, "hmmph" was all Mimi said before Matt had her slung over his shoulder and was carrying her further into the stream before dropping her in the water to the amusement of the everyone else. Mimi surfaced and smiled sweetly at Matt before jumping on him and making him fall backwards into the water.
Kari laughed along with the others as they watched Mimi jump on Matts back after he re-surface from her last attack then she took of her shoes, socks and her camera before diving gracefully into the water followed by TK in only his boxers. Next in were Ash, Izzy, and Misty then Brock, Tai, and Sora. Squirtle and Eevee also joined them along with Misty's Horsea and Izzy's Poliwag who seemed to get along great. However, Tai's Charmander and Pikachu stayed on the bank with Matt's Growlithe, Brocks Vulpix and the digimon.
Mimi stopped her attack on the nearly exhausted Matt when she saw her Eevee swimming out towards her, standing up in the now shoulder high water she picked up Eevee before lying back in the water and floating around with Matt, Eevee now resting curled up on her chest.
TK and Kari more energetic than the others headed for the streams opposite bank while Sora had a water fight with her Squirtle and Matt, though further down stream Misty and Izzy floated around with their water pokemon and Ash talking about nothing particular. Brock was the first out to sit around drying off while he carefully brushed Vulpix.
That afternoon was an easy going one of just fun and relaxation though they soon all made their way back to the main stream bank to relax in the sun and to dry off. Matt sighed as he sat in the sun next to Mimi who was lying down with her eyes closed trying to dry off her outfit with Eevee and Growlithe lying together in front of them.
TK and Kari had moved off with their digimon to sit in the shade of one of the tress while Brock was grooming Vulpix, Sora ended up lying in the sun with Ash, Izzy and Misty, her Squirtle still in the water with Poliwag and Horsea.
Misty sat up and saw that the rest of the pokemon had come out of the water so pulling her poké ball out of her bag returned Horsea to it. As the sun began to move closer towards the trees of the other bank TK and Kari moved out to join Brock in the sun while Sora who had fallen asleep finally woke up.
"You guys I think we should move deeper into the trees and look for firewood, its going to get dark soon and it will be warmer deeper in the forest" Misty said the others just nodded in agreement. Matt looked down at Mimi who was still asleep, sighing he picked up her boots in one hand before carefully picking her up in the other and continued to follow the others deeper into the forest.
They soon reached a section of grass surrounded by a dense gathering of trees, Matt lay Mimi down on the grass, leaving her with Growlithe and Eevee before going with the others to collect firewood. There was a lot of firewood found only a few short paces away from the place they decided to stay at and soon enough the had a raging fire going and enough wood to last them until morning.
Sora sat around the fire with the rest of the group, the night was cold so they huddled around the fire in forest, TK had Kari held closely between his legs trying to keep her warm, Sora sighed she wished she had someone that would do that to her. Staring towards Matt who had Mimi cradled in his arms in envy, Matt having taken it upon himself to keep her warm.
