"Well that was a quick one" Misty said to Brock, "Hey Ash what the hell are
you doing?" Misty asked him "I was trying to get Pikachu to evolve into
Raichu like Mimi did with her Eevee except it doesn't seem to work" Ash
said, "hmmmm" said Brock reaching into his bag as Misty reached into hers
both having the same idea. "Go Vulpix" "Go Horsea" they yelled. "Ok
Vulpix evolve into NineMattls" Brock yelled but nothing happened he then
looked to Misty, "Why don't you try the way Mimi did it?" he suggested.
Misty nodded "Horsea digivolve into Seadra" but nothing worked.
Izzy laughed making Ash, Misty and Brock along with the dig destined look at him while he quickly typed something on his laptop while he talked. "I think the reason why nothing happens for you guys is this" and with that he pulled out his tag with his crest in it, "we got these for our digimon in the digi' world" he concluded. "Oh ok...." Was all that Ash Misty and Brock could say, "So what you all have them?" Ash finally asked and the all of the digi-destined pulled out their crests. "Well you guys have got it lucky then" Ash said ending the conversation.
"Hey guys" Misty chimed in, "I think if we head off now we should be able to reach Fuchsia City by sunset," the others agreed to head off now not really wanting to stay another night in a forest. They then set off along the path that was reasonably flat, it was easy going with the sun shining and a cool breeze they made good time at reaching the bridge that extended across the bay to their destination on the other side. Beside that path at the beginning of the bridge was a small bike shop and using Brocks money, they rented a couple of bikes to make the journey quicker.
There were 10 of them and they could only afford five single bikes so TK and Kari doubled up with Kari sitting on the handle bars, Matt also offered to do the same with Mimi while Misty took Izzy's offer of going with him; that left Sora with Tai while Ash went with Brock. The ride was an enjoyable one even for those doing all the work pedalling, Mimi and Kari laughed together as the enjoyed the free ride.
As they passed the halfway mark in the bridge the noticed the brilliant display of colours in the sky signalling the start of the sunset leaving the 4 girls to marvel at its beauty. The sun was still setting when they arrived at the end of the bridge, they returned the bikes at the bike rent shop on this side of the bridge before heading into the city.
They headed through the city that was now lit by the bright street lamps, it was now dark and everyone was tired and TK was already caring Kari in his arms though she had insisted on walking he wouldn't hear of it.
They soon arrived at the Fuchsia City Pokemon Centre and were welcomed by the Fuchsia City Nurse Joy cousin of the Viridian City Nurse Joy, she showed them to a section in the main where they could spend the night. As she led them along the noticed many others who had the same idea as them already asleep on the lounges, "Everyone is welcome to stay here and its cost free" Nurse Joy had told them.
On arriving at a small group of lounges they said thanks to Nurse Joy and since none of them were really hungry amazingly, they decided just to go strait to sleep. Well most of them did TK and Kari stayed up for awhile just talking until TK saw his older bro and Mimi asleep on their lounge, Matt having his arms wrapped around Mimi's slim waist keeping her pulled in next to his chest. Kari quietly sneaked over to where Mimi and Matt where laying and took a quick photo while TK tried to stop laughing in case he woke the others up.
After taking her photo, Kari took one quick look around before making her way back to TK to get some sleep though it didn't seem like much as she was soon enough shaken awake by TK saying that if she sleep any longer she would miss out on breakfast. When everyone was awake they moved into the dinning area of the centre where they had a simple breakfast before the headed off outside.
