Vid raised her hi-tech watch and pushed a button on it, and projected a hologram. An image of Mayor Vlad appeared.
"Should've known," Kurai muttered.
"Greetings, citizens. I hope you've enjoyed this presentation of Amity Park's newest teen ghost fighting team, Masters' Blasters." Hologram Vlad said.
"Masters' Blasters?" They all said.
"As mayor, I provided city funding for this top notch troop. Equipped with the latest teen technology, they're going to stop ghosts and succeed where Danny Phantom has so obviously failed." Vlad sneered.
"Teen ghost fighters?" Kurai questioned.
"Teen technology?" Tucker asked.
"Where Danny Phantom has so obviously failed?" Danny asked incredulously.
"My plan is very simple, out with the old and in with the new! And the old should give up now now if he knows what's good for him." Vlad challenged.
"If Vlad's funding them, then they're definitely up to something." Kurai scowled.
"Hmm, they can't fight ghosts if there are no ghosts to fight, right?" Danny said excitedly.
"Uh, right." Tucker said.
"So I'll just fight ghosts like crazy!" Danny pumped his fist in the air.
"Yeah, remind everyone in this town how there's no better ghost fighter than Danny Phantom." Tucker said.
"You're right. I'll just show 'em who's boss around here. Buckle up guys, Operation: Danny Phantom Rocks is about to begin!" Danny cried.
Kurai cheered with them, but she had a foreboding…
