"come on you two pick up the pace I'm sick of this rain" Meowth yelled from somewhere out in front of Jesse but the rain was so thick she couldn't see him.
"Hey look isn't that a tree" James said pointing in some direction a bit off to where Meowth's voice was coming from.
"Oi Meowth get here now we have found a tree" Jesse yelled,
"a tree where?" Meowth asked jumping from out of nowhere onto Jesse's head,
"grr GET OFF ME!!!" she yelled sending Meowth flying into the tree James had been talking about before making her way over there herself.
Everyone had soon picked a lounged and seated themselves before Brock came over,
"Here, I got these off Nurse Joy," he told them as he handed them each a towel so they could dry off.
"Well we are finally here," Misty said, yawning and lying down on the lounge she was sharing with Ash,
"Well I'm going to bed!" Mimi said also yawning before lying down next to Matt on their lounge,
"Yeh I guess we could all use some sleep" came TK's opinion from where he and Kari where lying.
"I guess I agree with you guys" said Sora lying down to go to sleep.
Izzy was the first up but his typing on his laptop soon had Tai and Matt up though now up Matt soon got bored and decided it would be fun to wake Mimi up. Mimi on the other hand didn't like that idea to much when Matt started tickling her and soon all four of them were laughing.
"Would you both please keep it down, some of us are trying to sleep!" came the voices of Kari and Ash making everyone laugh and it was then that Sora and Brock finally woke up.
"Well I guess since everyone is now awake we get some food" Tai said getting up and stretching,
"you guys go ahead I need a shower" Mimi said getting up,
"good idea Mimi," said Misty and Kari who joined her in heading to find Nurse Joy.
"We'll meet you girls at the café," Ash yelled out to them before heading off with the guys and Sora to get some food. Misty and Mimi waved them off before going to find the Vermilion City Nurse Joy who was more than happy to point them out in the direction of the showers.
"Well that was refreshing," Mimi said, coming of out of one of the showers with her towel wrapped around her hair,
"I needed that," Kari said as they waited for Misty before doing their hair and going out to find the others.
"Hey guys where back!" Mimi said cheerfully after they found their friends who were already seated at table and eating, Kari, Misty and Mimi joined them and ordered what they wanted.
After breakfast the digi-destined gang said good luck to Ash who was going with Mist and Brock to battle the next gym leader while they looked around the town and maybe the beach, they were all going to meet back at the pokemon centre afterwards. However, the weather turned cloudy and so while the girls went off looking in the shops while the guys just lounged around at the pokemon centre.
"Hey Izzy," Misty said as she Brock and Ash walked in the door, "Where are Sora and the girls?" She asked as they took a seat,
"Right here" called Sora as she, Mimi and Kari walked through the door and made their way over to sit with the others.
"How did the battle go?" Matt asked Ash as Mimi sat in his lap, Ash flashed them his new badge telling them that he and Pikachu had won!
"That's great" Tai said as Ash went to go into a detailed explanation of the battle only to be stopped by Misty,
"So where to next then?" TK asked deciding to contribute to the convocation for once.
"Saffron City" said Brock "and it should only take us around a day walking its not to far from here" he added.
"Well then, I say sleep now and talk in the morning," said Kari, yawning and lying down on a lounge with TK"I guess your right I could do with a good sleep," Misty said, receiving a yawn of agreement from Mimi who was almost asleep.
"Well the rain still hasn't cleared up yet Meowth," Jesse said from her seat in the branches of the tree just inside the city.
"Well if you had of been awake instead of sleeping off the whole day you would've seen that it was perfectly sunny awhile ago" Meowth yelled back from higher up in the tree out of Jesse's reach.
"O would you to be quite I'm trying to sleep now" James said lying on one of the lower branches.
"Mimi, Mimi its time to wake up now" Matt said as he shook Mimi gently stoping when he noticed her opening her eyes,
"Oh... hey Matt" Mimi said yawning and sitting up to see most of the others awake already.
"Is it time to go already?" Mimi asked sleepily, Matt smiled gently,
"no not yet but we are going out to get some food before we head off" he said helping her up.
They set out of the Pokemon Centre saying good-bye to Nurse Joy and heading for a café before taking their seats and ordering some food and coffees
"Well well well, look what we have here" Meowth said, peeking through a bush as he watched as Ash and the gang finish eating and get up to leave for Saffron City.
"Well what are we going to do?" James asked also looking through the bush with Jesse,
"we follow them until we come up with a foolproof scheme" Jesse said as she stood up and walked out of the bush Meowth and James following closely behind her.
