As the world shatters like glass, everything stays the same but oddly everything gains a sepia filter too. As I peer out the window I see the the exact same situation, the only difference other than the new orange look, is a seemingly endless ethereal dark blue pillar that flows up into the sky
Looking for any other details I notice some dark silhouettes in the distance of what I can only assume will be my opponents, as I'm looking for anything I can use to my advantage some pop-up's appear

I'm met with boxes upon boxes with a little symbol in the corner saying "1/∞" and a sort section so for now I set it to 'Time ↓'

Looking at my inventory I see some small grey tokens with eight arrows originating from the centre, selecting the tokens I'm met with three options [Use][Fuse 3/5][Delete]
'It might be worth saving these in the future to potentially get some good items'

Magic feels weird, not wrong just weird. Despite the difference in elements each type of magic when surrounding my fists feels like velvet running over my skin, the more complex the movement of magic the more mental strain it places on me if the headaches were anything to go by, putting more MP into the magic feels as if my body is slowly being submerged in water which over all led me to the conclusion I was right for testing before having no clue what to do, although surrounding my body with magic doesn't drain my MP only hitting a target seems to drain MP at least for slayer magic

'Probably not that good for 40 minutes but hopefully having targets will speed this up in the future, now I just need better stats'
As I make my way outside I see that nothing has changed in the last 40 minutes and there appears to be 3 types of skeleton waking throughout the neighbourhood
So obviously I used [Observe]

'One for each type of slayer magic got it, time to start grinding and while it might be inefficient I'm going for Level 15 Just from this ID alone, so its going to take 3 MP to kill each of them, that's 9 MP. I regen 20 MP a minute, so i could continuously take out 6 of them in a minute and still be at full MP... probably either going to be harder enemies the further I go out or because this is the fist ID they are all practice to fight a boss at that strange blue tower'
As I slowly mover closer the Shadow Skeleton notices my approach and turns around alerting the other two skeletons to my presence each of them slowly, they shuffle forwards at a pace hardly any better than a walk, as they approach I make sure move to their left so that they dont immediately gang up on me. I use shadow dragon slayer magic to surround my fist to prepare for a fight as the sky skeleton is now the closest it lunges towards me, as I send a punch to its face it scratches my chest I jump back seeing the sky skeleton turn to red and blue particles of light, I check my status which shows HP: [170/200] MP: [197/200]
'Damn it, got to be more careful, they might not be that tanky but I could still die is 7 hits'
Not giving me much time to think the skeletons are reaching for me again, they are a bit close for comfort but as they over reach I slam my fist into the Light skeleton as it repeats the sky skeleton by turning into red and blue light, so as any good gamer I decide to experiment with my damage out put. I place 1 MP worth oh Light Devil slayer magic onto my fist and punch into the shadow Skeleton and use [Observe]
Mob - Shadow skeleton [HP 30/150]
- Mindless Skeleton who's bones are made of Compressed Shadows
'that's 120 HP... more than it should have done... the 20 HP likely came from my STR so I can only assume that the light did double damage because of it's shadowy nature'
This time I take a punch without MP avoiding it's flailing arms in the process and I use [Observe] again

'that pretty much confirms where the 20 Damage came from, I guess I should finish this and check my XP'
The Light skeleton charges for its final time as I swerve out of the way its ribs meet my fist to join the other skeletons as lights. As it finishes I'm met with a few new notifications

Approaching the pillar of light I have avoided since I got here I see something I should have expected
it was a hollow noting special but clearly a hollow, almost identical to the first hollow ichigo will meet tomorrow, although it looks like its smaller, closer to what chad would be [observe]

'Okay if that HP jump isn't proof the skeletons were practice then I dont know what is, although I probably over levelled for this, with what I'm looking at I was probably supposed to be here by level 10... guess I can use this to level up my sword mastery skill'

I know I am rushing through this stage and it seems that Akane is a bit too OP, and for what would basically filler I can agree but I do plan to make it so she can handle herself but she wont just going around beating captains left and right... (At least not when she first shows up) I am kind of rushing the start due to the fact that she cant spend ages just being useless or else what's the point.
This was supposed to come out 2 days ago but I kind of deleted the initial version, although I plan to do my best to update this series every 1-2 weeks (Unless anything else happens to take priority for a short while)
