Even if you have magical fairy godparents who could grant your every wish, you still can't have it all. One day in your gloating of how you think you have everything, you tell a secret that will make you lose your fairies forever. You lose everything they ever gave you and they leave you. Because you thought you had everything, you ended up with nothing.
It wouldn't seem so bad except for the fact that your screw up will cause you to forget these fairies. You lie in your bed counting the seconds before everything is forgotton. You lie there and make just one more wish. You wish you had your fairy godparents again.
But they aren't just your fairy godparents. They are your best friends. They always cared for you when you were sick or hurt. They comforted you when you were scared. They made you laugh when you were sad. They were better than any human friend because they stuck by you no matter what.
Until now...
Who cares if the popular girl you've always liked will never notice you? Who cares if that red-headed girl you fear will move into your house? Who cares if your parents never tell you the truth again? All you want is your fairy godparents, your best friends.
You thought you could have everything, but you always had nothing. You suffer in your last moments of remembering your fairies. You wonder why you had bragged so much to let your secret slip. You wonder why you never thanked your fairies for the things they gave you. They made you happy but now you were sad.
