Chapter 36 Gi's Call

Kazuma was at his throne sitting on it as he was doing the normal work for the kingdom, Shoto was at his side and next to them was Kousonsan.
"Well this isn't as bad." She said.
"Well at least you didn't become like a certain someone." Shoto said.
"So you don't have to worry Kousonsan." Kazuma said.
"Please call me Pairen." She smiles.
"Okay... Pairen." He smiles at her.
Pairen made a deal with Kazuma, she knew she wouldn't stand a chance in this war and she didn't want her people to get hurt, so she gave him the control but he didn't make her a simple soldier as she is now a general on his side.
Kazuma was fine with Pairen since she's a good warrior.
"I'll be right back." Kazuma gets up.
"Okay, be careful." Shoto said.
Kazuma goes out of the kingdom alone and he heads towards the middle of the area, he then saw Sousou waiting and they stood in front of each other.
"Well you've been growing more ever since we met." She smiles.
"Well Ensho wasn't that much of a problem, she went to my kingdom without getting the right info." Kazuma said.
"Yes, but I heard you've been calling yourself with a new name." She said.
"Oh my ancestor's family name, I found out about my lineage, she was a mighty woman and warrior at her time, someone that can defeat many of the warriors of this time." Kazuma said.
"I see, I would have liked to meet her, but you should know the reason for this meeting." She said.
"I know, as promised we both came without anyone as a sign of honor, I know from looking at your battles you would never do a dirty trick." Kazuma said. "But I don't think i'll surrender."
"I expected that, but you know we would go to war soon." Sousou smirks.
"I'm not scared, I have people to protect Sousou." He said.
"Well i'll give you a reward for standing up to me." She said.
"Which is?" He said.
"You can call me Karin." She said surprising him.
"Well... Okay Karin." He smiles. "You can call me Kazuma."
"Very well, I never thought I would meet a man that I would be interested." Karin said.
"Well seeing how you always scare your soldiers and only allowed women with you, it pretty much paints a image to everyone about you." Kazuma said.
"Okay touche." She shrugs. "Also sorry."
She looks back. "Keifa come out!" She was glaring at a rock making Juniku come out.
"Lady Karin!" She got scared.
"I told you to stay out of this!" Karin said.
"But that horrible man would have sent attackers after you!" She said.
"He could have used his armor to do all of that! This was a meeting of honor and respect and you disrespected me!" She looks to the side. "You too Shunran and Shuuran."
The other two came out nervous.
"Sorry." They said.
"I tried to stop them lady Karin." Shuuran said.
"I believe you but I will have to think of something now." She said.
"Will you punish me?" Juniku blushes.
"No! Your going to be stuck in your room!" Sousou said scaring her and Kazuma stares at the scene.
"But Karin we were trying to protet you." Shunran said.
"I told you no! Kazuma didn't even sent his men here as I could tell and why would he even need help!" Karin said.
"Your calling him by his name and you gave him your secret name." Juniku said.
"It's a sign of respect between us after all he did." Karin shrugs.
"Well I will have to go now since you would want to be alone with them." Kazuma said.
"Yes, but just remember, i'll be keeping you and your brother alive after I win." She smiles.
"Well same for you and your generals and other ones you care about." He smiles.
"How nice of you." Sousou said.
Kazuma walks away and Karin smiles watching him.
"Karin, you seem to be very interested in him." Shuuran said.
Karin shrugs. "What can I say, he's different, most man are not worthy of me, but seeing him go so far to help his brother sees that he is a kind man, someone that cares about his family."
"Yes." Shuuran nodded. "A man like him is very rare."
"I don't know why you like him that much." Shunran said.
"Sister, theres always someone better than the others, lord Kazuma has shown that with his actions since he's a kind man." Shuuran said.
Juniku frowns before Karin pulls her by the ear. "Ow! Ow!"
"This is the only pain you don't like." Karin said.
"Because you treat me like a little kid." Juniku cries as the other two followed them.
Kazuma walks foward back to the kingdom and said: "Well Karin is a very interesting person, didn't that girl, that looks criminally younger than she looks like, she's almost my age and she has that appearance."
He was still surprised when he heard her age, he guesses it's one of those cases where a persons tops aging.
"Well at least she was trying to keep her word, her three allies are just too loyal to leave her go alone." Kazuma said. "I never expected to fight unless provoked, I could have gotten out of there with ease."
Kazuma thought Karin was someone he would have to fight, but after the party and all the stuff that happened, it seems he earned her respect which in these battles the best thing is for respect on the two sides instead of just mindless fights like a certain someone.
"Well Karin I hope your ready because i'll be there waiting for you." He smiles.
Note: This the start of the war between Kazuma's faction and Karin's, he will have a proper battle with honor compared to Enshou, so watch out for that later.
