Chapter 4
Harri rushed in and picked out a holster from a shelf and then she looked around for Ollivander knowing he was timing his appearance, and then she felt him, and she looked next to her and there and behold there he was.
He stared at her curiously and she stared back at his pale blue/gray eyes. Harri decided to take a risk. She knows that Ollivander can see beyond what others could see similar to Luna. He will now that her wand is already bonded with her. So, with that she spoke clearly,
"Holly and Phoenix feather, 11 inches, please" he nodded, not questioning her how she knew because he already knew his wand was already bonded to her before even meeting her. Ollivander took out the wand and handed it to her, anticipating the reunion between Witch and Wand. When Harri took the wand in her hand all of the lights went out and a warmth enveloped the place. Harri smiled fondly at her wand and then focused back on Ollivander when he started speaking to her again.
"I expect great things for you Harriet, but the path you are taking won't be easy"
"For the one that gave me this scar, did great but terrible things" Harri spoke back at him, making the right judgement. He gave her a knowing smile, rang her up for the wand and a holster that Harri added, and watched her walk away with a knowing gaze.
"Harri stepped out of the shop and was happy to note that it only took her about 5 minutes for the entire interaction. Harri joined Snape and together they went to the apothecary where she bought a set a first-year potion supplies and more, and if Snape noticed the advanced ingredients he didn't mention it.
Afterwards, Harri bought herself a three-bedroom compartment trunk, with a kitchen, lounge room, bathroom, and small library that she will be using to hide Sirius if she needed to and to hide away from the world when she needed time alone. She has blood wards placed and a parseltongue password already activated. Harri then went to Madam Malkin's and got herself the standard uniform. Meanwhile, Snape waited for her outside of the shop. Harri got her crest in all of her clothing in Acromantula silk and chose some nice dress robes for the Malfoy ball before beginning her first year. Harri went wild and chose everything that she couldn't get in her original first years, from casual dress, to skirts, blouses, some nice silk knickers that caused the woman to rise their eyebrows at, and training bras that she was sure to need. As madam Malkin worked on her clothing, Harri went outside to join Severus who was reading a potions book on a nearby table. She sat next to him, beaming up him with her sparkling green eyes and spoke childishly in a excited voice,
"I believe that's it, but the letter said I could pick out a familiar" Snape rolled his eyes at her childness and said,
"You may, but just one." Harri nodded eagerly and he led her to the Magical Malerie. Harri was jumping around, to excited to stop herself from annoying Snape and jumping around eagerly. When Harri got a clear view of the place she ran in and found Hedwig immediately. She smiled fondly at her and asked her
"What do you say girl? Would you like to go home with me?" Hedwig gave her a long stare and then hooted approvingly. Harri squealed like the young girl that she looked like and then she immediately went to acquire about her and bought her and everything that she needed to keep Hedwig happy. She came out with Hedwig and showed Snape her new purchase. He nodded at her, and they went to pick up her schoolbooks where she added some extra books on wizarding culture, ancients' families, potions for dummies, and DADA books year 1-7 and other books that she thought might be useful. Afterwards, Snape hushed her back to Madam Malkin's to pick up her purchases where she put everything in her trunk. Harri thanked Madam Malkin and they went on their way back to Little Whinging Survey Dr.
Harri side apparated with Snape and she stared back at him to examine him a bit closer. They both stood silent and Harri smiled at him happily, crinkling her eyes at him and then softly spoke to him,
"Thank you very much, Professor Snape. I look forwards to seeing you at Hogwarts" Harri didn't give him a chance to respond and with that she went back into the house, gloating at the fact that she had managed to melt his heart a least a bit with her tenderness and her childlike behavior that reminded him so much of Lily when they went shopping together so many years ago.
