A/N: This is not The Tales of version of Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods or Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes, but rather The Tales of version of a book I got of Greek and Roman Mythology I got in Rome Italy. The settings will be after 'The Tales of the Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus' so please read that before getting in this story. Think of this story as something to pass by until The Trials of Apollo books.
Anaxagoras
As mention many times before sometimes names gets mixed up in mythology when it comes to who did what. Even if they are family.
Anaxagoras was the son of Megapenthes and according to Pausanias and Diodorus it was during Anaxagoras' reign at Argos, and not that of his grandfather Proetus, that all the Argivie womenwere struck with a madness which was cured by Melampus.
In Anaxagoras part, it was said he rewarded Melampus with a third of his kingdom, giving another third to Melapus' brother Bias, and keeping the remaining third for himself.
His descendants, who are known as the Anaxagorides, ruled under this system until the son of Sthenelus: Cylarabes, reunited the whole kingdom of Argos under his own way.
At least he wasn't abuse by the name of the next person. But don't worry, Aphrodite made her pay.
