A/N: This is not The Tales of version of Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods or Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes, but rather The Tales of version of a book I got of Greek and Roman Mythology I got in Rome Italy. The settings will be after 'The Tales of the Heroes of Olympus: The Blood of Olympus' so please read that before getting in this story. Think of this story as something to pass by until The Trials of Apollo books.

Anaxarete

Aphrodite isn't someone to anger by disrespecting love, and Anaxarete is one example of it.

There once was a young Cypriot called Ipis who fell in love with Anaxarete, but she was cruel to him. In his despair, Iphis hanged himself at her door. Anaxarete was unmoved by the sight, and merely wanted to watch the funeral procession as it passed beneath her window.

Aphrodite wa angered by Anaxarete's lack of feeling, and changed her into a stone statue in the position she had taken up in order to look out the window.

Later the statue was placed in a temple in Salamis in Cypus. Hopefully as a reminder what happen when a goddess is angry with you just for lack of emotional response.

Next is a prince of an Italian tribe who fell in love step mother.
