Session 1: Dragon Boogie!
"No...I have not completed my mission." Ivie looked down as her
superior stood from his chair.
"But you can track your target...?"
"Spike?" Ivie nodded. "Yes, sir, I can and will." She watched
the man's white haired head nod.
"Good. And when you find the opportunity--give him this." He
handed her a vile with a clear substance. Ivie looked at it carefully.
"Untraceable poison."
"This isn't the way you do things, Vicious. Why the sudden
change?"
"Just do as I say." He walked back to his chair and Ivie angrily
walked back to her room.
"Who does he think he is!? Treating me like a child?....I'm
gonna hurt him!" Ivie paced the room, hands clinched in anger. She
froze and turned her head to the door as it opened. Vicious stepped
through and shut the door behind him, looking at Ivie intently.
"What are you doing? Don't you have someone you should be
killing?" Ivie glared, with her hands clinched again. Vicious took a
step forward.
"I..."
"Don't apologize, Vicious. I'm gonna get what I want to say out.
You always make me look like a child, and I'm tired of it." He looked
down and she shook her head with another glare. "Don't. Don't do that
sad puppy-dog look with me--it won't work this time." He walked over
to her and hugged her.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you look like a fool." Ivie
sighed and layed her head on his chest.
"Oh, Vicious...I care for you so much. I couldn't stay angry at
you, you know that." He kissed the top of her head and she sighed
again. "I have to go get Spike. It was an order, right?" She smiled
and wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him. Vicious felt her
tongue ring as her tongue entered his mouth. Ivie pulled away and
smiled once more. "I'm going to Mercury. I'll be back. I promise." She
turned to walk out. "Don't forget, Vicious. I love you."
"Spike, you got the tip from a girl you met in a bar?....How are
we supposed to go on that...?" Jett Black looked at his partner
carefully as he smiled.
"She was tellin' the truth. I know. Remember?.." He pointed to
his red eye and Jett shook his head as Edward ran through, spouting
something about noodles. Ein stood from it's spot by Jett and wandered
over to it's bowl, sniffing for food. After finding none in the bowl,
it returned to it's spot next to Jett. Faye Valentine glared at Spike.
"Like that eye helps. We have no food. I've been stuck eating
dog food for weeks! You better be right about this bounty, or else..!"
Spike shook his head and stood, heading for his spaceship, the
Swordfish 2, while Jett looked at Faye.
"You haven't seen a guy with big poofy brown hair runnin' around
here lately?...." The bartender shook his head as Ivie sighed.
'Vicious will be so angry with me....' She sighed, standing and handed
the redhaired bartender a twenty before looking at the door with yet
another sigh. "Well, if you do see him, and if his name's Spike...Tell
him Ivie didn't wait and she came to him instead." She smiled, the
bartender nodded, and she left, heading out the door, heading for the
hotel that Vicious had provided to her under an alias.
'What's been up with him lately....? Poison, and paying for
things under an alias....That's not like Vicious. Something's goin'
on....And I intend to find out.' She thought to herself as she bumped
into someone walking around the corner near the end of her walk. She
muttered an apology and looked up.
"Sorry about that...." The balding man scratched his head and
continued to walk. Ivie, however turned to look at him walking away
and smirked.
"Well, this will be interesting.." She whispered silently,
opening up an electronic device and glancing at it for a second before
holding it out at the back of the man's head before a light shot out
of the device, hitting the man in the head. The man turned around to
see what had decided to make his shiny little head a target, but Ivie
was gone.
"What the hell was that...?" He muttered before walking away,
heading to the nearest bar. Ivie took a deep breath and looked at the
device with glee.
"Get info on this guy, Vicious. He's connected to Spike."
Vicious' voice did not question her as to how she knew; for he knew
himself that she had the ability to see things by just touching
someone. Ivie yawned. "I'm gonna get some rest.." She continued into
her hotel for rest with another yawn, hoping to see Spike soon--to get
the whole thing over with.
Ivie awoke to the sun shining on her. She groaned and sat up to
see one of the dark-haired twins that she knew so well. "Shin....That
can't be you...Can it?.." He stood and walked over to her, pushing
back down on the bed gently.
"Go to sleep, my dear....I'll explain it all when you wake." He
whispered, laying a kiss on her forehead.
"No.....I want to know now. Tell me.....How are you back..?" She
sat back up and grabbed his arms slowly, looking straight into his
eyes with a sad expression. "It was Vicious, wasn't it...?" She sat
back and lit up a cigarette. "What are ya, a robot?....Cyborg...?
Spill it, Shin." He sat down next to her and took her cigarette.
"I never really died...--"
"What?" She looked at him with a glare. "So, if you never really
died, then where were you?...."
"In a hospital...Recovering...I almost died....." He took her
face in his hands and pulled her into a kiss. She broke away, taking a
breath at the suddeness it. Ivie sighed and looked at the carpet
sadly.
"Shin....I'm with Vicious..."
"What!? That son-of-a-bitch stole you the second I was gone,
didn't he?....And you let him...." She glared at Shin and got out of
bed, only in her bra and underwear, heading for the shower.
"You went out there for some asshole that didn't care! I thought
you left me for him--and you got killed doing it!" She turned around,
her hair whipping around her body as she glared. "I loved you!...And
you didn't give me a reason for you leaving....!" She sighed. "Look, I
thought you were dead and he was there...."
"Did he fuck you good...?" Shin's eyes narrowed and she glared
at him, then huffed.
"Shin, get out. You've ruined the moment. For a second there, I
really thought you were worried about me, instead of taking Vicious
out of the picture..."
"Wait. I didn't mean that...." He looked at her and got off the
bed, walking over to her and pulling her into a hug. Shin kissed her
hair and layed his chin on her head. She pulled away.
"I'm not leaving Vicious, Shin. You know how he'll get....He'll
come after you and kill both of us..." She kissed his cheek and opened
her door, just wide enough for him to get through. "Go back to
Vicious. Tell him you're back and ready to work. I'll see you later,
Shin, okay?.." He nodded, kissed her cheek and walked out. Outside, a
crow let out a sorrowful squack and flew off, red eyes flashing.
"How's the search goin'?..." Spike looked at his communicator
with a sigh.
"Not good, Jett...I still haven't found Yokonama...."
"I told you not to go on the words of some floozy...." Spike
rolled his eyes and looked back out the window. He knew that Ivie
wasn't just some floozy, at least, that's what he hoped. Or knew. The
girl had something about her...Some secret that was hidden where only
the truly trustworthy in her life would know. And he wanted to know.
Badly. As he landed, he jumped out and noticed that this was probably
the good part of the Mercury City, seeing all of the buildings and
nicely done flower gardens. He began for the bar, as that was the best
place to actually find Yokonama.
He wandered in, sat down and ordered a drink from the suprised
redhead. The man brought his drink and looked at him for a second
before replying in a gruff voice, "You Spike?...." Spike nodded and
the redhead nodded. "A girl came by here lookin' for ya. Said her name
was Ivie and she had a message: "she didn't wait and decided to come
for ya." Spike's eyes suddenly took a happier expression as he handed
the man a ten and walked out, in search of this girl called Ivie.
Ivie sighed as she got her lecture on how she should be worrying
about her mission, not past boyfriends by Vicious. "Vicious, I think
you're just glad that I didn't leave you for him." His silence
indicated her that she was right as she put the broach on her dress
with a smile. "Okay, okay, sweet.....I'm going after Spike. All your
hard-earned info will be put to use. I'm heading to his position right
now..." She walked out of her hotel room, slowly heading for the exit
when she saw the woman , Faye, wandered in, trying to look as high
class as possible for low-class trash. She walked past Ivie with a
smile and wandered over to the desk, and then proceeded to flirt with
the man at the desk to get a room. Ivie scoffed and headed outside.
"Well, Vicious...?" She said with a smirk.
"What?.."
"Did you like what you saw?..." In addition to hearing voices
and relaying voices, it also had a small camera. 'All that in one
broach...?' Ivie remember her saying as Vicious handed her it.
'Yeah.....Amazing, isn't it?' She continued down the street, walking
as her eyes squinted slightly, seeing puffy brown hair walking down
the street. She smiled and ran behind him, wrapping her hands around
his eyes, covering them. "Guess who....?" Spike smiled and turned
around with a smile.
"Hey."
"Hi. How have you been?" She began to walk with an even bigger
smile and he turned around and began to walk backward with her.
"I can't complain. How about you?...."
"Good. Better now." She replied silently as he smirked.
"Would you like to get a drink?....We might find Yokonama..."
They smiled at each other and continued to walk to the bar. "So, you
followed me to Mercury?...."
"Yeah....You could say that. I'm here on a mission. I must find
someone. I've got info that I think he might want."
"Who is he?...I might know him....." Ivie smiled sadly and
looked down.
"Shin...--"
"Shin?...You knew Shin?..."
"He was my boyfriend...He worked for the Red Dragon
Syndicate....." Spike turned back around and started walking forward.
"I'm sorry, Ivie...." She looked at him as tears welled up in
her eyes. "He was murdered....By him." He stopped and punched a
streetlight. People stared and she touched his arm.
"Don't be angry...Who is him.....?" Spike looked down as they
continued to walk.
"Vicious." She nodded and looked down. There was silence until
they reached the bar. Spike let Ivie enter first and then followed,
taking a seat next to her at the bar table. Ivie ordered a vodka and
Spike ordered some rum, trying to calm down his anger at the man who
had killed his first, and so far, only love.
"Look--see that man over there in the corner of the bar table
alone? That's Yokonama Namura." He looked at her cooly and took
another drink.
"Are you sure?" He muttered letting himself breathe a bit before
lighting up a cigarette. She took the cigarette and took a hit slowly
as he lit up another one.
"Yep, I'm sure. Watch this." She stood and walked over to him
cooly. Spike glanced but never really stared as she took another hit
of the cigarette he let her have and leaned over the bar table.
"Hey.."
"What do you want...?" Yokonama looked her up and down and
smiled. "A good time, eh?..." She surrounded him, touching his short
blond hair and wrapping her arms around him, crossing at the chest.
"What about your friend there....?"
"Oh, him?....He's gay." She giggled in his ear and pulled her
arms back around him, rubbing his lower back slowly. Spike heard that
and his eyes widened. Yokonama groaned. Ivie slowly pulled out a pair
of handcuffs before laying her head on his chin and whispering, "I
wanna have a fun time....Could you give it to me...?" She pulled a
hand behind him and handcuffed it loosely before grabbing his other
arm roughly and handcuffing that as well. Yokonama's blue eyes
narrowed quickly.
"What are you doing?..."
"Rough sex, duh..."
"In public...?"
"Oh, sure...." She knocked him out quickly with a well aimed
punch, "As soon as you get a life..." He slumped to the ground and
everyone stared again as Ivie smiled at Spike. "There ya go."
"And your name is...?"
"Ivie. Ivie Sakagura. And you are?..." The purple haired Faye
scrunched her nose up and held out a hand.
"Faye Valentine. It's nice to meet you, hell, it's nice to meet
anyone who racks up five million Woolong..." Ivie smiled and looked at
Jett as Edward jumped through the room, shouting something about a new
woman joining the Bebop. Spike looked at her when Ed said that. He was
seriously thinking about Ivie joining the group. The way she took down
Yokonama--it was flawless, like she had learned it from the
street...Or was taught. Maybe he just got used to having Faye around.
Spike shrugged.
"Would you like to?....Join, I mean." Faye, Ed, Ein, and Jett
all looked at him like he was crazy. This was one thing he was sure
about. Ivie looked at him also as her eyes widened.
"Do you mean it....?"
"Yeah...Of course." Ivie nodded and smiled.
"If you'll have me...." They all looked at each other, then
nodded.
"Of course. It'd be nice to have another woman on the ship." As
they headed for her hotel room, Ivie smiled. She had earned their
trust. Now all she had to do was kill the man who had accepted her
into the Bebop.
Okay, so I've got the first chapter done. I think I got a few
errors, but over all, it's pretty good. I finally got the spacing down
for putting things on Fanfic. Thank you for reviews. I love them, they
make me feel confident in my writing. I dun know how long this story's
