Session Three: Death Waltz

Ivie had just gotten out of the shower to see, Spike, who had casually walked into her ner room of the Bebop. She screamed and gave a slight glare.

"What are you doing in here!?" Spike smirked and looked at her clothing.

"I was just going to see if you were comfortable in your room. But it seems that you beat me to it."

"Can you leave so I can get dressed?" He glanced at her in the towel and then her clothes with a sad sigh.

"Sure..." He stepped outside and Ivie got dressed in a black leather skirt and shirt, taking the time out to pin her hair up in a ponytail and put the broach on. Stepping outside, she glanced at Spike.

"So..."

"We found another bounty. His name is Seth. But he's going to be a tough one to get, seeing how he's nowhere to be found and the only lead we can find is someone in Mercury said that he left for Venus a few days ago. Jett's putting us on course there right now."

"Mmhmm..." She scrolled Spike and smiled a bit. "Well, you mind if I cook dinner?...I mean, after all you've done for me, it's the least I could do."

"As long as you don't cook like Faye...." Spike shuddered and Ivie laughed. She stopped laughing however, when Spike pulled her close and crushed her back against the wall. Smiling at her, he kissed her. Ivie pulled away for a breath and looked at him.

"What was that for?..."

"You...There's something about you that makes you so damn irresistable...And I'm trying to figure out what it is.." Ivie smirked and tapped his arms lightly with her hands.

"Let me down and I might let you know what it is..." She gave a wink and Spike gave a slight smile, letting her down lightly. Ivie turned to walk away and he grabbed her arm.

"Hey..! I thought you were gonna tell me what it was!.." She smirked and threw him over her shoulder. He groaned as she climbed a top of him and held him down.

"Do that again without my express permission and I'll break a limb." Laying a kiss upon his lips, she stood and went to get dinner prepared. Spike stood and dusted off his pants. Looking over to the other exit, he saw Faye, standing there with a smirk.

"What do you want?" With a roll of her eyes, Faye walked off.

'He doesn't even know...' Faye had feelings for Spike...And had let him go on so many missions without saying a word..Watching him go off to try and kill himself had almost killed her inside, but she still never spoke a word to him about it...And now, this new girl Ivie, was around to take his affections..'I won't let her..I'll be damned if some fresh young girl will come in here and steal him away from me...'

Ivie sighed. "Again, Vicious?...Are you that damn jealous that you can't even trust your own girlfriend..?" She gave up on him and concentrated on her cooking.

"Smells good..." She turned to look at Jett, giving a slight smile. She returned the smile warmly as he wandered over to her, taking a seat at a nearby chair. "What is it?..."

"Specialty...I can't tell ya. Bu I promise that it won't kill ya." She winked and giggled and he gave a slight chuckle. Ivie gave a mental wince when his expression turned serious.

"So...Where ya from?..."

"....I...don't know..." Ivie looked down as tears welled up in her eyes. Memories flooded back into her mind as she looked at Jett. ' "You are a killing machine...You belong to me and no one else...Do you understand...?" ' She shrugged it off and smiled at him. "How about you?..."

"Eh...That's not important..." (A/N: I don't know how to spell where he's from. XD) "How'd you meet Spike..?"

"In a bar." She nodded and went back to cooking. Jett was skeptical. He didn't trust the way she walked or talked. But she was beautiful and as he could see, Spike had a way with beautiful women.

"You are very secretive...I can tell. What are you hiding...?" Ivie gave a giggle and looked at him.

"Dinner's done! Would you mind going and getting Spike and the others?..I made something for Ein as well." He nodded and stood, promising to himself that he would find out more about this girl later.

"Vicious...Where is she?..What did you do with Ivie?.." The young raven-haired boy glared at Vicious as he rose an eyebrow.

"Not that it's any of your business...But I've sent her out on a mission. Why have you returned?"

"I came back for her. You had no right, to dictate her life the way you did. She deserves freedom." Vicious stood and towered over the shorter male, touching his hair lightly, as if he would break.

"And you..would risk your own freedom for her...? Would you...trade lives with her...?" As his hand went to the male's cheek, he looked away.

"...Vicious...We don't belong together...You know that...."

"Who said that..? What rule did you read that said that...?" Vicious' finger grazed the other's lips and the male closed his eyes.

"Let her go...And you can have me..."

"No, Gren. I won't have you like that. I want you willing. Please..Stay...We'll talk while she finishes her mission."

"I'm...nothing more than a killing machine...I killed her...And I'll kill Spike...because I'm supposed to..." Ivie turned over in bed and sighed, tears streaking her face. She sighed and lit up a cigarette. 'I'm not supposed to be thinking about this...I'm just supposed to do my job..' She turned back over in bed as her thoughts took her back....

(Author notes: I didn't want the next part as a flashback, but it seems like it will be anyway. It'll just be Ivie, thinking back on the past. And who is this 'she' that she claims that she killed? Guess you'll have to find out soon. )
