Angel: To the person who said I don't know why Leo and Amy are the most favorite couple right now, I might just be missing something there. Plus I never said which version of them was on the poll. If we're talking about 2012, then I'd still say I'd be surprised because it was my first fanfiction, therefore I'm not gonna think that they deserve to win because my older stuff is cringe to me. If it's 2003, sure, I can see them winning. 2018, maybe 2nd place because they've definitely had their problems.
If the reason they won is because of the franchise alone, then I might disqualify them lol Because I don't have anything against them, I just don't think they're that high if I personally ranked them. Maybe like 5th place out of how many I've written.
It's 7 am in the morning as an alarm clock rings. Suddenly it gets zapped through with a pink laser, but still lets out a ding. But then it gets smashed by a mini mallet thanks to Jenny, who looks annoyed. "Stupid alarm..." She grumbles while turning her hand back to normal. "Mom will wake me up..." She turns away to go back to sleep, snoring. However, she spends hours snoring in all sorts of positions, and then she realizes...her mother hasn't shown up. "Oh my gosh," She sits up in alarm. "What time is it? Mom!" She rushes down the hallway as a nurse, rubbing her hands together. "This is so not like her to let me sleep in...or enjoy myself in any way."
She crashes into the room, seeing her mom unresponsive. "Mom!" She rolls over to the bed. "She's comatose. I hate to do this. I'm just not ready to lose you!" She's about to shock her mom awake when Nora wakes up on her own.
"XJ9!"
"Wah!" Jenny shouts in alarm, quickly moving away her hands. "You're okay?"
"Yes, yes, fit as a fiddle," Nora stands up and starts to stretch. "Got to bed a trifle late, I guess," She chuckles a bit and then floats off the bed with a smile. "Well, go make yourself some pancakes or something."
"Uhh, hello? I'm a robot," Jenny raises a brow in confusion. She opens the fridge and sees only one can of oil, surrounded by new drinks that aren't hers. "Slim Down shakes? I didn't know Mom was trying to lose weight." She closes the door and is met with her mom...wearing a bunch of make-up. She screams in horror at this. "Your face!"
"The barn needed painting! Now, which one of these should I wear?" She looks between two outfits that are entirely the same...and are also what she's wearing right now. "I'm worried this one will make me look fat."
"You're already dressed," Jenny reminds her mother, earning a laugh.
"Oh, ho, ho, right, right. Well, don't forget to pick up the lawn and water your room," She walks past her robot daughter and then got in her car to leave.
"Mom, wait!" Jenny calls out as she runs out into the street. "You're my ride to school."
"Don't you fly?" Amy asks her friend as she steps out of her house.
"After the last time I flew to school and crashed into the ceiling, Vice Principal Razinsky told me to either walk or get a ride," Jenny grumbles while crossing her arms. Flying to school makes her too prone to attacks, so she tends to not do it anymore. She gasps in realization that Amy herself has her own car. "Amy, drive me to sch-"
"I can't, it's in the shop after the Cluster blew it up from their last attack on us," Amy reveals to her. "Hence why I had to borrow my mom's and drop off my sisters, I'm just now on my way myself."
"Nooo!" Jenny laments as she and Amy rush to school. The bell rings just as they arrive and slide into their seats...only to get two pink slips.
"You're late."
"My mom's been acting really strange lately," Jenny starts off to her friends. "She's forgetful, keeping odd hours, and actually cares about how she looks."
"Whoa, that's serious," Brad comments and she rubs her chin.
"I know. I don't wanna think the worst, but everything points to it. Mind control."
She gets another detention slip. "No talking." She looks annoyed as she grabs it.
"I was gonna say alien possession, but you're probably right," Brad says to her.
"I don't know about either of those, but I think it's-" Both her and Brad both get detention before she can finish her sentence.
"No talking."
"I'm going out," Nora calls out to Jenny, showing herself off. "Do I look r-r-ravishing?"
"Sure, Mom," She doesn't even look at her mother.
"Oh, goody!" The woman chuckles happily while opening the door. "Well, toodles." She closes it and then Jenny sits up, revealing that it was a card-board cut out.
"It's time," She reports to Amy through a walkie-talkie, the girl putting on the same spy outfit she used to help Sheldon get Jenny's blueprints. Jenny has on a satellite and glasses, Amy wearing scanner sunglasses and a black hat to cover up her hair. The hat summons a hearing device.
"We sing it when the weather's fine," Nora sings and both of them can hear it. Nora scats while walking around the corner, Jenny following her with her eyes. Amy presses a button to the side of her sunglasses so that she can see what Jenny sees. Nora flinches and glances back as Jenny hides her eyes behind a lamppost. Nora just shrugs and walks off. Amy rides Jenny, who's low on the ground following her. Both of them flinch as they're taken away by a truck cleaning the road, both of them glittering and shining.
"Hey, cool," She examines herself before a kid with a bike pushes them into the sewers.
"Alright, not cool anymore," Amy mutters from the sewers.
They end up at the Tremorton café, their smell so bad that they kill birds. Amy climbs up while Jenny flies into the leaves.
"By the way, where'd you get that outfit?" She asks the brunette, earning a wide-eyed look.
"Uhh...basement?" She chuckles nervously while shrugging. "My parents are really prepared..."
"But why does it have gadgets included? Some of those seem like my own."
"Um, look, there's your mom," Amy points down to the woman, sighing in relief as Jenny focuses on that.
"Oopsie-whoopsie, you have itty-bitty pudding on your nosey-wosey," They can hear the woman say.
"I'm too late," Jenny hugs the branch, climbing up a bit. "Her mind is gone."
"Maybe I'm starting to buy into the mind control theory, because that's gross," Amy looks away in disgust from the dialogue they're hearing. They hear a chuckle as they get a closer look. Nora is sitting across from someone, both of them eating ice cream.
"Oh, Nora, you always look lovely when you're wiping something off my nosey-wosey," The person is a man in a large coat, but he looks straight up evil. This is evident by his eyes and mustache.
"Oh, she's on a date," Jenny smiles happily at her mom.
"I had a feeling it was that. The way you described her behavior is almost exactly how Emily acted when she had her first date," Amy tells and the robot realizes what she said.
"She's on a date? Ew!"
"Maybe we should get out of here. Would you like it if your mom spied on your dates?" The brunette whispers to her friend. Not to mention she's really not in the mood to deal with romantic stuff. She already has her own romance problems.
"You are indeed a beauty, but I must confess it's your mind I'm in love with," The man scratches the woman's chin. He earns a flattered laugh.
"Just stop it."
The branch underneath the girls breaks and they crash onto the table. "Ow..." Amy groans in pain as Jenny stands up, covered in lights.
"XJ9 and Ameila Smith!" Nora scolds them both angrily.
"My, what an entrance," Her date approaches the two. "These must be your daughters."
"Oh no, I'm not related to Nora," Amy waves a hand awkwardly. "I'm one of Jenny's best friends."
"I'm so sorry, Marty," Nora frowns as they start removing the lights from the duo. "XJ9 knows better, but she is so willful sometimes. And Amelia usually attempts to get her to see reason, but this is not one of them."
Amy rolls her eyes to the back of her head, a bit annoyed that she's getting reprimanded when Nora's not her mother. "Yes, children's minds just aren't as malleable, unfortunately," Marty remarks to the girls, winking at them and freaking them out.
"Okay," Jenny backs away towards her mother. "Welcome to Creepsville, population: you," She turns away while crossing her arms.
"I don't know if creepy's the right word," Amy rubs the back of her neck.
"Mom, we need to go...now!" Jenny insists to her mom, wanting to get her away from this guy asap.
"Um, well, perhaps we can try again Friday night, giggly-poo?" Nora asks him hopefully.
"Of course, my little woodpecker," Marty replies with a smile, earning another laugh. He laughs along with her, Amy gagging from the love talk. Nora slides away, confusing them both as Jenny drags her mother away. "Well, ta ta."
"Ta ta!" She calls out and Marty laughs to himself, this time in an evil way...
An owl hoots as Amy sits on Jenny's bed, frowning as she's now in the middle of family drama that she probably shouldn't be involved in. She watches the two of them. "Why didn't you tell me you were dating that...guy?" Jenny asks from Amy's left, Nora to her right.
"Well, I didn't realize I had to check with you before I could go out on a date," Nora retorts back to her, Amy glancing at the woman nervously.
"Jen, your mom can have a love life too, you know-"
"But Mom, he's creepy," Jenny interrupts the girl, holding her mom's shoulders. "Did you hear how he laughs?" She then plays a recording of it.
"Okay, but she's allowed to like who she wants-"
"That's what I like about him," Nora chimes in with a smile. Amy places a hand on her cheek, annoyed as she raises a brow. "He's got such a zest for life. Now I want you to promise you won't interfere."
"Oh, fine," Jenny says in defeat, looking away. Nora takes away the tape and walks away, popping back in.
"He's in love with my mind!" She then replays the recording of his laughter, Jenny giving a blank look. She has no idea what her mom sees in that guy...
"I'm sure you'll grow to like him," Amy shrugs at her friend, standing up. "I've gotta go. I'm sure my sisters are probably watching the window to see me get back home."
"I still don't get how you got ahold of that suit," Jenny points at it and the girl pinches her nose.
"Alright, enough with the suit already. I'll tell you someday, but not tonight," She replies wearily, feeling tired from today's events.
"And you still don't know what your feelings are for-"
"Goodnight," Amy gives her a look that says to drop it and Jenny clamps her mouth shut, watching the girl leave.
Morning arrives as Jenny and Nora sit in the park together on a picnic. "I want you to be happy, but there's something strange about Mr. Rosien."
"Oh, and speaking of Marty, I asked him to join us," Nora explains as he walks over. Jenny flinches in alarm as he stands in front of her.
"Yes, XJ9. It's time we got to know each other better, because...his skin splits in half, revealing himself to be a giant bug! "I'll be spending a lot of time with your mother's brain!" He links a tentacle to Nora's brain, laughing evilly.
"Not so fast, Rosien!" Jenny forms two hand cannons, firing fish for some reason. "Fish? What the-"
Fish is thrown at Nora and Marty on their wedding day! Tuck, Brad, Sheldon, and Amy are all in the crowd. Amy and Sheldon are holding hands, and she kisses his cheek.
"Everybody bunny hop!" Nora exclaims happily, the six dancing together in the field.
"Aaah!" Both Jenny and Amy scream while sitting up in bed, as it was just a dream.
"I hate the Bunny Hop," Jenny frowns at the dance that popped up.
"Did I just dream of me and Sheldon as a...couple?" Amy holds her head while internally freaking out. That meant nothing, right...?
Right?
"Jenny," Brad speaks up as she, Sheldon, Emily, and Amy walk home from school. "It's a single parent's job to date creepy people. Just ask Amy and Sheldon."
"Brad," Sheldon groans at him.
"If you say that again, I'll shove your face into the mud," Amy tells him angrily, thankfully walking across from the boys. Brad holds up his hands in defense and clamps his mouth shut. Emily glances at Jenny, who nods in agreement that the two need to sort it out at some point. And they were gonna help them do that, they just didn't know how yet.
"This guy is more than creepy. I think he's actually a villain attempting to control my mom's brain," Jenny states suspiciously.
"That makes no sense, why would he do that?" Amy raises a brow at Jenny. Tuck and Piri suddenly run up.
"All in a diabolical plot to get one of her high-powered weapons! Or worse! Her cookie recipes," His eyes widen in horror.
"Or to steal one of her inventions to take over the world!" Piri holds her head in a panic before dropping it and looking up at her sisters. "Hey, when we get home, ask C to make some cookies."
"Ah, don't bother Claudia, she's got a study group today," Emily tells Piri, who grabs her hand to let her older sister walk her.
"Could be," Brad says in thought with a shrug. "I mean, why else would anyone wanna go out with your mom?"
"Oh, I don't know. She's really quite charming for a woman of her age, and-" Everyone stops to look at Sheldon, who freezes and chuckles in embarrassment.
"I might need to monitor you," Piri narrows her eyes suspiciously, pointing up at him. "First Jenny, then my sister, and now Dr. Wakeman?"
"Uggggh," Amy drags a hand down her face. "Seriously?" She mutters to herself, Sheldon rubbing his neck.
"I was speaking for whoever is going out with her! Not for myself! Of course I don't wanna date Jenny's mom," He gestures to himself.
"I gotta check this out," Jenny narrows her eyes. "And you guys are gonna help me," She points to Brad, Amy, and Sheldon.
"Heh heh..." Amy chuckles awkwardly at the thought of being there with Sheldon. "I'd rather not, after all, I gotta take my sisters home."
"We can take care of ourselves," Emily speaks up defensively. "You should go with them." Her sister gives her a warning look. She doesn't need a reminder of her dream about Sheldon today. Plus she's still a bit sore about the whole Vexus thing.
"Ah, I'm okay with-"
Jenny grabs her friends' arms and drags them along, to Amy's surprise.
Marty turns a corner, singing the same song Nora was on their date night. "We sing it when the weather's fine."
Amy, Sheldon, Brad, and Jenny pop out of a corner, all of them wearing hats. "So what happened with you two anyway?" Brad glances up at the two.
"None of your business," Amy retorts back to him.
"They kissed," Jenny tells the boy anyway.
"Whoa! You...and her?" Brad glances between the two.
"It was an accident!" Sheldon looks down at him in exasperation.
"But you two kissed! That's a big deal."
"Who said it had to be?" Amy rolls her eyes to the back of her head. "It's not like we're dating."
"Do you two want to date?" Brad asks them curiously.
"What?!" Sheldon exclaims quietly in alarm that he's being asked that.
"Can we focus on anything other than our love lives? He's getting away," Amy gestures to the sidewalk. They watch Marty go into the bank and they go over in trench coats. Tuck bumps into them from behind wearing a bunny mask. They all stare at him and he shrugs.
"What? It's all I had. Besides, I'm recording this for Piri."
Amy rolls her eyes and the five peek in. They see Marty rubbing his hands and reaching into his pocket. Jenny gasps sharply as he's about to take something out of it. "He's gonna rob the bank." She grabs the guards and rushes over, ready to stop him.
"Yes, I'd like to make a withdrawal," Marty takes out his credit card, Jenny putting down the men sheepishly.
"I'm so sorry..." Amy walks over and then whispers to the guards who her parents are. They flinch and then bow to her.
"We'll overlook it just this once."
"The entire amount," Marty adds in, rubbing his hands again. "I'd like to cancel my account," He then laughs evilly as Amy escorts Jenny away.
"Now, that's suspicious. And what'd you tell those guys?" She raises a brow at Amy.
"I'll tell you another day," The brunette sighs wearily while looking away. Jenny looks at her suspiciously too, wondering how she always manages to get the robot out of trouble sometimes...
At the Dive Diner, Marty slides some money over to a man in a coat. He passes something back to Marty, who laughs evilly again. Jenny acts as a bulb as she had seen the whole exchange. She pops her head back up to the others, who had been holding onto her. "I knew that man was no good."
Tuck clears his throat and she turns to him knowingly. "Oh, here's your grilled cheese sandwich."
Their next location is a seedy motel, which is the actual name of the place. "Okay, you guys create a distraction while Amy and I sneak inside," She grabs her friend's arm and runs off. "I could need Ms. Mecha for this."
"I don't know if that's necessary for one guy, but if you insist..." Amy finds a place to hide.
"Okay, Brad, you create a diversion while I help the girls," Sheldon runs off after them.
"Okay, Tuck, you be the bait while I go and hide," Brad leaves next and Tuck's eyes widen at being left alone. He knocks on the door and Marty opens it.
"Yes?"
"Hey, there, hot stuff," Tuck imitates Dr. Wakeman's voice, leaning against the pole as it looks like her shadow.
"Come here, my little woodpecker," Marty goes over to 'her' while Jenny and Ms. Mecha tip-toe inside using their fingers. The man is confused as he doesn't see her, scratching the side of his head. "Where could she have gone?"
Tuck snickers while in the shadows, as he's wearing a bunch of garbage to make him look like Dr. Wakeman. Jenny turns on a light...and sees that Marty has a Nora shrine, almost similar to Sheldon's shrines. There are pictures of the woman everywhere; he even has a calendar of her. "I knew it. This guy is totally freaky and fixated on my mom."
"Gross, I've had my fill on seeing shrines of people," Amy says in disgust and then the both of them hide as Marty comes back in.
"That playful little minx. You won't get away from me tomorrow night~" He laughs as he closes the door, the girls acting as coats from a hanger. They duck behind an AC unit. "I will captivate you. I will win your mind and heart. You will be putty in my hands. You will be under my hypnotic spell!" He laughs evilly again, the others ducking down from outside.
"I was right. He is trying to control her mind," Jenny clenches a fist.
"I don't know, Jen. It's all pretty circumstantial," Sheldon states to her. Amy winces as Jenny grabs the boy's arms, shaking him frantically.
"What?! He's textbook evil," They peek into the room. "The only thing he's missing is a long, dark cape."
Marty pulls one out and puts it on, continuing to laugh. They go back into hiding. "Okay, you might be onto something here."
"But we don't have anything that'll prove it; we don't know how he's going to control her mind exactly," Amy speaks up with a small frown.
"She's right, your mom won't believe you without proof," Brad tells the robot.
"You're right. I have to catch him in the act," She narrows her eyes in determination, glancing at the red-haired boy and then at her friends. "Oh, wow, where's Tuck? We should find him," She says innocently as she pulls Brad up.
"What? I'm sure he's fine, he probably just fell asleep somewhere."
Amy looks up at the two. "Well, we should split-"
"We got it, Sheldon take her home bye!" Jenny whispers quickly, Amy's mouth open as she watches Jenny drag off Brad.
"Oh, she didn't," She glares at the robot as she realizes what she did and why. The girl grumbles and leans back, her arms crossed. Sheldon bites his lip nervously, looking away and tapping his fingers against the ground. The tension is as thick as a knife between the two.
"Amy, I-"
"Not here," She sighs as she stands up and walks off. Sheldon blinks in surprise for her defeated tone and runs after her. He looks up at the stars as they continue to walk together in silence.
"I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable," Sheldon speaks up sadly. "I understand if you don't wanna be my friend anymore..."
She sighs as she rubs a temple. "Sheldon, you're not making me uncomfortable. You're just...making me confused. I thought you didn't like me anymore because you moved onto Jenny."
"I did! Or at least, I thought I did. But I guess it's not as easy as it looks to give up your first crush..." He rubs his arm and she blushes slightly. She then clears her throat, looking away from him.
"But of course we're still friends, it's just...stuff, you know? Stuff that I don't like facing."
"Why?" He asks and she blushes deeper as she remembers her dream.
"Oh, you know...weird things that I'd rather not go into," She coughs awkwardly. "Um..." She hesitates to speak because she doesn't know what to say.
"I'm really sorry about Vexus," He turns to her with a deep frown. "If I had known-"
"Lighten up," She assures him, her hands behind her back. "Vexus knows how to fool anyone with her disguises. Sure, I still don't like the fact that she knows my identity because of you, but...it was bound to happen at some point."
He sighs deeply in relief, smiling happily. "So we're good."
"...Y-Yeah, we're good," Amy laughs nervously, since her heart is beating fast and she's flushed...and she really doesn't wanna open that can of worms right now.
Marty has taken Nora to The Fancy Restaurant, the two being escorted to their table. Jenny and Amy pose as waiters as the usher walks off. "Well, this table looks nice, sweetie."
He pops up behind her, Jenny flying into the air. "Oh, no, you don't." She freezes in place as she sees Marty holding out Nora's chair for her.
"Thank you."
Jenny flies backwards to hide behind a couple's table. She glances between them, seeing their wide-eyed looks and looks at her friend. Amy cringes and gestures for her to do something. The robot stands up and dances. "Oh, happy, happy birthday from all of us to you~" Amy facepalms at the display. "We wish la-la, da-da, da-dum, da-dum, da-dum-tee-dum-" Amy grabs her arm and pulls her to be underneath the table.
"Seriously?" Amy whispers to her friend in disbelief.
"I panicked!" Jenny retorts back. They peek underneath the table to spy on the couple.
"Nora, you look positively-" His eyes then widen for some reason. "Don't...move...a muscle." He reaches out, the girls about to attack. However, Marty is just swatting a fly away. "Shoo! Shoo! Shoo, you little pest!" The fly goes over to the girls, Amy trying to swat it away. It lands on some pasta and Jenny chuckles at the couple, using a fly swatter to knock the dish onto the man. Amy covers her mouth in shock at this, the robot then knocking salad onto the woman.
"We're so sorry..." Amy whispers in embarrassment as she goes after Jenny.
"Don't you dare give them more than 5 percent," The woman warns her date.
Marty clasps his hands together with an evil smile on his face. "You've had this coming for a while now, my sweet, and I'm finally going to give it to you," He reaches into his coat, pulling out something that blinks. Jenny pops out of hiding, Amy transforming into Ms. Mecha underneath the table. She pops out of hiding and lands on a table, readying a laser gun as Jenny prepares some weapons.
"I don't think so!" She zaps at his head, some hair burning off from the side. Then his entire hair is burned off, Nora looking up at the girls in utter shock. Jenny then lands on the table. "You may have my mother under your spell, but kids' minds aren't so malleable!"
He runs away screaming and hides underneath a table. Jenny lands behind it and rips it in half. Amy lands in front of him as Jenny laughs evilly, preparing her weapons again. Amy activates a giant cannon, both of them attacking at the same time. Marty runs away again, leaping forward from Jenny's mallets. Tuck, Sheldon, and Brad arrive outside, seeing the lasers fired from inside.
"This must be the place," Brad comments to them as they look on.
Jenny grabs Marty, who wiggles his legs and then is shoved into the wall. Jenny threatens to use a saw on him. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, a bit overkill," Amy starts off in alarm and then grins widely. "Use a death laser instead."
"Ah, I should've thought of that," Jenny mutters to herself.
"Girls!" Nora yells as the saw gets closer to Marty's head. "GIRLS!" She screams again, the saw getting even closer. "GIRLS! This has gone far enough!" She holds up a key and puts it into Jenny's neck, shutting down the robot. Amy gasps sharply at her friend, now distracted. Nora then uses a tranquilizer dart and tosses it into Amy's neck, causing her to go limp and lose feeling in some parts of her body. Marty sighs in relief, Amy looking annoyed. "Oh, Marty, I'm truly sorry," However, he completely disappears. "Marty?" She frowns sadly as he's probably long gone by now. The boys go over to her.
"Oh, Mrs. Wakeman, Jenny was just trying to protect you," Brad speaks up to her. Nora then walks away in defeat.
"My whole evening, ruined."
"At last," Marty looms over the woman. "With XJ9 and Ms. Mecha out of the way, I can put my master plan into action," He steps into the light, holding up a giant golden helmet. He puts it on her and he laughs evilly, holding up the blinking device.
"Girls, help!" The woman cries out.
"Oh no, Wakeman's in trouble!" Sheldon exclaims, looking down at Amy. "Can you move?"
"What do you think?" She retorts back.
"Hey, the key's still in the ignition," Tuck turns it and powers up Jenny, who saws at nothing. "Huh?" She murmurs in confusion.
"XJ9!" Nora screams and she flies off. Marty laughs as she attempts to remove the helmet, Jenny knocking him to the ground. She pins him with her foot, preparing all of her weapons to use against him.
"Okay, slime ball, any last words?"
"Ah, Wizzly World?" He asks nervously, revealing that the object was actually for Wizzly World.
"All-access passes to Wizzly World?"
"Wizzly World?" Nora walks over with a smile on her face.
"Yes, hats included, see?" He holds up his own hat and Jenny backs down with a nervous laugh. "I was going to ask you to go, but this family is just too creepy for me," He then walks off, Nora glancing at the robot.
"I am so sorry."
"Oh, XJ9, it's okay," Nora assures her. "We both overreacted, and I suppose we learned something about trusting and respecting each other in the process. I'm not sure what, exactly."
"For starters, to not tranquilize your daughter's friends!" Amy calls out in annoyance, being supported by Brad and Sheldon.
"But I feel so bad," Jenny frowns at her, hands behind her back. "I've ruined your first relationship in, like, years."
"First relationship?" Nora questions in confusion. "I go out more than scientists and nerds half my age. What do you think I do when you're off saving the world? Your mom is a catch."
"Well, no sense in these going to waste," Jenny picks up the tickets, but Marty comes back and takes them.
"You can keep the hat."
Marty goes to Wizzly World and cheers while riding a roller coaster. Tuck is next to him...wearing a woman's wig. It flies off and Marty stares at him, the boy laughing awkwardly. He then jumps out of the car. "Thanks for the ride, sucker!" He jumps off and uses a parachute, laughing evilly like Marty.
Sheldon and Amy glance down at him from the car right behind Marty. "Wow, he'll do anything for a free trip to Wizzly World, huh?" He asks while glancing at her.
"Why am I not surprised?" She rolls her eyes at Tuck, smiling at Sheldon. "You didn't have to take me to Wizzly World."
"Well...yeah, but I felt bad for the Vexus thing, so I figured to at least make it up to you. Plus Jenny keeps asking about your parents' line of work," He blushes in embarrassment, rubbing the back of his neck. She smiles gratefully at him. This...kind of felt like a date, but obviously he wasn't going to tell her that. He watches her throw up her hands and laugh happily, deciding to just enjoy himself as he smiles.
