The water closet; Luna Nova Dormitories
After the unprovoked attack by a swarm of dragons and the theft of the Philosopher's Stone by the same dragons, all of Luna Nova's students were ordered by Headmistress Holbrooke to return to their respective dorms. They are also told to not leave their dorms unless specifically summoned.
The students, most of them still shaken by the attack, have decided to heed the headmistress's order and went back to their dorms, locking the doors with some Covens even barricading their doors with furniture for good measure.
There is however, one Coven that didn't do so: the Blue Coven.
In Diana's case, she was at least summoned by the professors for assistance. Hannah and Barbara, however, have no such excuse.
"Should you really be breaking curfew just to go to the loo?" Barbara worriedly asked Hannah as she followed her friend close behind.
"It's just a trip to the loo, Barbs. Big deal." Hannah responded as she washed her hands after finishing her "nature calls". "Besides, the professors are too busy investigating what the bloody hell happened, and the fairy workers can't work without the Stone nearby. We are totally safe."
Barbara shuddered as she remembered the attack on the Banquet an hour ago. "After an attack on the Banquet which had American soldiers and the East Morgian Republic's Vice Chancellor, all of whom are Luna Nova alumni, among the attendees?" She said while feeling uneasy. "We should go back to our dorm, Han. I don't feel safe here..."
"Oh, yes, you wouldn't feel safe after this!" A third voice suddenly loudly mocked the duo.
Hannah and Barbara immediately turned toward where the voice came from.
Standing there at the entrance of the water closet is Chloe, arms folded and with a smug look on her face. Chloe isn't alone, though, as several other students stood around her, all similarly with their arms folded, save for Avery who is, for some reason, livestreaming all this with her smartphone.
"What do you want, Chloe?" Hannah put on her own smug look and asked sarcastically.
Barbara, on the other hand, said nothing, as she has a bad feeling about this.
"Just... payback for when you two stabbed me in the back for Cavendish." Chloe said as she cracked her knuckles in a menacing way. "And since none of us have access to magic right now, we can make this fair and quick.
"Aboot time this happened, eh?" Avery said with a stereotypical Canadian accent that she put on with the intent of mocking the Blue Coven duo.
Most of the other students present have their own sets of non-magical implements that they apparently prepared just for the occasion. Said occasion being the chance to seek revenge against Hannah and Barbara for all their bullying and abuse.
Realizing she is outnumbered and without magic, Hannah's smugness faded away instantly as she and Barbara backed themselves into a corner, literally, as all of their former victims turned the table against them...
With Shao-Yi holding up the vial that she got from Sucy the last time they met. "You crushed my favorite gemstone. So I will crush your dignity in return." The Chinese girl gleefully said as she uncorked the vial.
At that and everything else before them, Hannah and Barbara did the only thing they could do in this situation.
They both let out very girly screams.
Here's an interlude that may or may not be canon to this story, just to prove that I haven't abandoned it - or my stories in general - yet.
Yeah... I plan on getting back to writing my stories as soon as possible. This hiatus has been going on for way too long, and sadly, I don't even have an excuse for it this time. Worse: I cannot guarantee there won't be another such lengthy hiatus.
"Just remember: a believing heart is your magic"
