Disclaimer: I don't own Sly Cooper, naturally. I am not affiliated with Sucker Punch or Sony. There. I think you get the picture now!
(Onto the No-Name poem!)
Moonlit tangos recently
Became my specialty
All eyes are on me
As I glide across the rooftops
Loot attached to my back
Cane gripped tight
Sirens blaring behind and
Blue lights flashing in my eyes
As I make my finish move
For most of my audience
One fan cannot seem to get enough of me
The detective, her face determined
To catch me just this once
I'm sorry to say
I must decline her
Invitation to dance
Just a kiss is all
Don't worry, Ms. Fox
My lips are sealed
Time for my bow
Tipping my hat
Jumping high
Doing a spin and landing
On the lamp
Nighttime blankets me and
Darkness cloaks me as I
Disappear into the night
(Authoress's notes)
I can't believe this started out as a poem for SCHOOL. After I first wrote it, I realized how Sly Cooper-ish it was, so after fixing a few lines and adding some stuff...Ta-da! And I read the original version OUT LOUD in front of my LA class at school...Yeah, I think I left them scratching their heads since they don't know ANYTHING about Sly Cooper... I'll shut up now.
Thanks for reading!
Shady
