'Muggle Went Too Far

Ooc: Dang, I haven't been on here for –What? Two years? – And here I am, making a story for you. Lovely. Anyway, enjoy this, because nowadays, there isn't much original Harry Potter work. By a glance, anyway. Well, bon appetite, tu. :coO

'Muggle Went Too Far

It all started when Hermione Granger went to the nearest bookstore, circa nineteen ninety-eight. It was a Barnes and Nobles ™, summertime for the young witch.

Of course, she wasn't expecting the publicity.

A girl around –Eh? Nine, perhaps? – with pigtails walked up to the counter of the cashier, clinging on to a rather large sized book for a muggle of her age. About two people behind her, a woman was holding the same book.

Then another muggle.

And another.

And another.

Fine, it was a bit odd for such an occurrence. For a children's book, a muggle's children book, of all things! Ms. Granger, now going in to her seventh year (Yes, seventh. It is 1998, after all.), was curious. A side effect of a Gryffendor, naturally. Oh, and being best friends with Harry Potter, the boy who lived, didn't help, either.

She didn't wander too far off when she saw a huge table, decorated with lightning bolts, and pointy hats someone probably swiped from Disneyland.

And, if she was correct, the title was 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.'

Well, of course she was correct.

She was Hermione Granger, after all.

And, if Hermione Granger was correct, which she usually was, the book's title was 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.' I don't think I must write any more sentences on the matter, because anyone would understand that she was correct about the book's title.

Quite suddenly she felt a bit flushed and went to get a Mochachino, at a reasonal price, at the Barnes and Nobles ™ Café ™.

Which is an excellent idea. Excuse me for a moment. Amuse yourself, will you?
Ah, good. Back to the story. Anyway, after refreshing herself, and paying in pounds, she returned cautiously to the book table. Shaking, she picked up a hard copy. It was true. This muggle, J. K. Rowling, had seemingly learned about Potter's, Weasly's, and her escapades. Flipping through the pages, she read little paragraphs at a time, each with much intrest.

"Merlin's gnome recipe book!" she whispered, holding the hardcover up, "I must buy this book!"

At this point of time, a couple of freaked out kiddies and their concerened parents crept away from her, muttering things like 'Pysco,' and 'Freak.'

At this point of time, though, Hermione Granger had already strolled along to the cashier, book in close grasp. She was going to make her first purchase of the day.

And this, dear reader, was beginning for our magical friends. For soon, they would enter the Harry Potter Fanfare zone.

Ooc My, that was fun to write! I'm pretty much just going to have tons of little chapters like this. Updated almost daily. Well, what are you waiting for? Read and review! coO
