Difficulty Mode: Hell

It was the first of September and thus finally time to board the Hogwarts Express. London was surprisingly clean for such a huge city. They did not even use magic to keep it clean every day. Honestly, muggles were a lot more capable than wizards gave them credit for.

Speaking of magic, these few months have been more productive than I expected. I could have learned spells up to the fifth year if I wanted to. However, my focus was on mastering weaker spells before moving on to the more powerful ones. That's why I didn't have a vast repertoire of spells to choose from. In the end, I only mastered the first-year spells.

I was a gamer, and my bullshit ability could save my ass in an emergency need for firepower. Besides first-year spells, I learned some Gamer Spells that can't be learned by normal means.

I whistled innocently as I looked down at the piece of paper in my hand. It was the ticket for King's Cross station.

I wondered if Hermoine had already arrived as I searched for a specific train station.

While walking around the busy streets of London, I sensed a lot of magic close by. Muggles were not paying any attention because they couldn't feel magic, but I could feel magic radiating off it like the second sun.

From what I could tell, the source was a system of wards so powerful that they made the wards around Grimmauld 12 seem weak.

"I don't think following the source of such terrifying wards would be a smart idea," I muttered as I ran in the opposite direction. Soon enough I sensed another spot where the wards felt much weaker and started heading toward it.

Just as I approached the station, I fled into an alley between two large buildings.

After making sure I was alone, I smiled.

"Requip." I posed dramatically as my clothes glowed bright yellow, and my muggle t-shirts and jeans vanished. Immediately replaced with a formal shirt, tie, black pants, and finally, a black wizard robe covering my body outside.

Hehe, I always wanted to do that after watching Fairy Tail. I'm not typically into bossy women, but Erza Scarlet is an exception.

Now that I looked like a proper student, I activated presence concealment before walking down the street again, heading toward the station. Usually, students wear muggle clothing rather than wizard robes and change their clothes on the train when they are close to Hogwarts.

Pff, who am I kidding? I'm just dressed in a robe because I think I look cool in wizarding robes.

If I was in the future I wouldn't bother to put on my Presence Concealment because of my clothing style. However, this is the past and the idea of cosplay hasn't become popular yet.

And look at that, King's Cross Station. Busy with both muggles and Wizards alike walking together, and I also noticed a rather strong muggle-repelling charm. That explains why these muggles are ignoring kids in wizard robes, adults in robes, kids with frogs or cats on their heads, or owls inside cages in their hands.

I pulled my trunk from my inventory, filled with books, copy paper, clothes, and everything else I was supposed to bring.

Except for pets.

I don't need some lowly pets. I was going to search for Familiars.

I felt my attention being drawn to a platform where I could feel a set of wards, a sure sign I was on the right track.

"Ah, platform nine and three-quarters. Please don't let my childhood nightmare be true." I prayed to mother magic before sprinting toward the barrier wall between platforms nine and ten.

While I reached the wall, I reinforced my body, just in case. Never hurts to be cautious. I closed my eyes and did not stop my sprinting legs as my heart pumped into my chest.

I passed the barrier before I knew it. The only reason I knew I had crossed it was because I felt a slight foreign magic energy scanning my body like an X-ray.

'What was the purpose of that scan?' I pondered while opening my eyes, adjusting my eyes because of the sudden bright environment around me.

'It couldn't be a muggle scanner since muggles can cross over barriers, like muggle parents over there.' I thought before sighing. All these observations and conspiracy theories will ruin my childhood dream from my past life.

With a bright smile, I opened my eyes fully and the sight didn't disappoint me in the slightest.

A scarlet steam engine was waiting next to a platform packed with people. A sign overhead said Hogwarts' Express, eleven o'clock.

Smoke from the engine drifted over the heads of the chattering crowd, while cats of every colour wound here and there between their legs. Sounds of owls hooting at one another and children saying their goodbyes filled my ears.

The first few carriages were already packed with students, some hanging out of the window to talk to their families, some fighting over seats.

I was busy seeing everything, and I nearly crashed into someone.

"Watch where you-!" The soft yet venomous voice stopped in its tracks as I shot him an apologetic smile. At first, the man's face twisted in annoyance, like encountering an insect on your ceiling; however, after looking at my face, the man froze for some reason.

"Sorry about that. Just got lost in the magic." I tried diplomacy first and it worked.

The man in front of him looked caught off guard for a second, as the woman beside him, probably his wife composed herself along with the man, making a dignified face as an annoyance from a few seconds ago completely vanished.

"It's no problem." The man said softly as he brushed his silver blonde hair aside from his forehead. He looked very familiar for some reason. It was just on the tip of my tongue.

However, the woman beside him was another case. I instantly recognized her after looking at her face for a few seconds.

"You're that Cissy Kreacher always talks about," I said bluntly. "There is a picture of you with other sociopathic-looking people."

"That's a rude thing to say in the first meeting with your family." Narcissa "Cissy" Malfoy née Black snorted, seemingly not offended by my words or tone.

"Right, the same family who left me at a muggle orphanage." And there is a wince on her face while the man's expressionless face hasn't moved an inch. I'm not even mad at them for leaving me in that hellhole. I'm just pissed that she had the nerve to say I wanted these fools as my family.

"That sounds suspiciously like the origin story of some two-bit villain in a novel." I mused, sending shivers up the spines of the couple before me.

"Then again I have no desire for family, so please step aside. I need to board the train before it's too late." I smiled sweetly while releasing my malice through magic. It was quite challenging to learn and that old man Arcturus wouldn't teach me anything unless I threatened to burn his portrait.

Lucius Malfoy stepped aside, gently dragging his wife away from my path. She wanted to say something, or even apologize or explain something by the looks on her face but I already walked away, leaving behind two of my mother's followers.

Without any effort, I managed to squeeze through the crowd and started searching for a place to sit. As the front compartments were filled with older teens dressed in very colourful robes, I figured first-year freshmen like me would be in the back.

Harpe resisted The Trace

"Huh, neat." Of course, I already knew my wand was superior to the others. At least there was one less problem to deal with. Now where the hell were those empty seats?!

I managed to gain some attention because of my looks but I didn't listen to anyone before walking away to the rear compartments.

Every cabin I could find was filled with more than four people so I walked along, nearly reaching the end of the train, and finally found an empty cabin.

"Phew, that was more troublesome than I thought." I huffed before sprawling into one of the seats.

After a few minutes, I took out a book from my inventory, a history book called The Rise and Fall of the Dark Arts.

"Excuse me?" A muffled voice asked before knocking on the door. I snapped the book shut before looking at the door.

The door opened and a boy around my age entered the room while struggling with his trunk. I raised an eyebrow as he struggled to put his trunk on top of the seat.

"Ah, you need some help with that?" I voiced my concern when he struggled even more than before. He turned to me with a sheepish look as he spoke.

"Much appreciated, should've bought one with the weightless enchantment then this bloody thing." He let out a laugh while searching the back of his head, probably a nervous tick for him.

I nodded at him, agreeing with weightless enchantment. "You should use magic any chance you get, otherwise you would forever be a mediocre wizard."

I took out my wand, Harpe and I pointed it to his trunks as it began to levitate in the air like I was controlling it with invisible strings. And the next moment, his trunks were tucked away beside mine.

As the boy took a seat in front of me, he said, "Non-verbal magic?". The boy was fairly tall, like me, and had messy black hair, unlike my straight nerd anime protagonist hair.

Thank Merlin it was not spiky.

His eyes were also quite different from the norm, bright emerald eyes like my own blue. He looked suspiciously familiar to a certain someone I intended to avoid for the time being.

"Thanks for the help, I am Harry. And being mediocre is fine. If you are at the top, you would be all alone." He introduced himself, confirming my suspicions. But he was a little different than what I remembered. He was slightly out of character. And I nearly burst out in laughter after reading his title.

So he was already a bit more powerful than most people his age. Most magic-less teenagers are at level ten to fifteen at the most, and this guy was already at that level before hitting puberty.

Normal children around our age would be four to six.

Then again this was an AU so he might just surprise me more in the future. Besides Voldymom, I will have to find out what other tropes apply to this world.

Quest Activated

Serpent's Temptation

Harry Potter is an unfound genius that has yet to awaken. Joining the lions will no doubt hinder his potential. Wonder what would happen if he was thrown into the Snake Pit instead.

Objective: Manipulate Harry Potter into joining Slytherin House.

Reward; 1000 EXP, Close Friendship with walking Plot Armor. Proto-Stinger

Failure: Undivided attention of Albus Dumbledore and the Order of Phoenix.

Now that's interesting. The game is telling me to manipulate the boy.

But how the hell am I supposed to convince him?

And what the hell is Proto-Stringer? Some kind of poisonous Scorpion that stings people?

"No, that-!" I was interrupted as the door of our cabin snapped open. Both Harry and I jumped from our seats as we looked at the intruders.

One of them looked suspiciously similar to Harry. Another was a redheaded boy with freckles, a bit tall and pudgy, and another redheaded girl with an annoyed expression on her face.

"Oh shit." Harry and I muttered under our breath at the same time. I reacted because I understood this was a massive AU, so I could kiss most of my foreknowledge goodbye. As for Harry, I could take a single glance at his face and guess that his relationship with them was not a positive one.

"So that's where you were hiding?" Not Harry, I mean Fleamont scoffed as he staggered toward Harry with an angry scowl.

He grabbed Harry's collar with force and dragged him out of his seat. Tension was getting thicker by the second as I stood in the corner, avoiding the risk of crossfire just in case.

"Who do you think you are? You bastard, I've never seen my mother cry and you! You!" The boy struggled to form his words as he trembled.

And looks like Harry had enough as he raised his fist and slugged at his twin's jaw with an amateur uppercut.

Still, it did have some effect as the boy nearly flew. However, he seemed to have some experience as the boy was still standing on his feet a few distances away from Harry. Fleamont, a carbon copy of Harry, the only difference being his boring hazel eyes instead of Harry's colourful green eyes.

"Mother of you two, you mean." The green-eyed boy spat. "A mother who left me with her hateful sister, abandoned me because she thought I was Squib. I don't need her or you two in my life."

A redheaded girl with green eyes, the same face as the boys looked hurt at that statement but she seems to understand why Harry was saying that before accepting it.

Fleamont, on the other hand, looked furious. He quickly whipped out his wand in a lightning reflex. Boy was fast, undoubtedly trained from a young age. Not at the level of a child prodigy, but still damn good.

"Ducklifors." The boy shouted as a hazy red beam left his wand, heading toward Harry, whose green eyes widened in panic.

Now, this may be the chance I am looking for. Right now I am nothing more than a stranger to Harry, but if I had to manipulate him anyway, due to the danger that is Dumbledore, I need to earn his trust before I can nudge him to the other distraction before we leave the train.

So I issued my reckless plan into motion.

Before the beam could hit the boy, I Blinked, and teleported in front of Harry, my back facing the beam. Before I could Blink away with Harry this time, a beam already hit my back, my vision swirling, and distorting into something disturbing.

The original plan was to get Harry out of the beam's way, but I was not fast enough it seems.

(Third Person POV)

Harry could only gape in astonishment as a boy who just met teleported in front of him, taking a blow of curse (probably) meant for him. Even others were confused by the action of the boy as their eyes widened as well.

"Bloody Hell, bloke just performed Apparition, and without losing a limb." Redhead boy exclaimed in a surprised tone as he looked down on the fallen boy.

"Or maybe not," He added, seeing the limb vanishing of the fallen boy. "It was probably accidental magic." Ron theorized the first thing that popped into his mind. It was the most reasonable explanation after all.

"What curse did you use?!" Jeanne asked in panic as she inspected the fallen boy, who was shrinking slowly for some reason.

"It is a harmless Jinx." The boy scoffed at his twins, his anger evaporating as he eyed the fallen boy with some degree of interest before looking at Harry, who also took out his wand.

To his surprise, the hazel-eyed boy turned his back on Harry. "Since you don't need your family, we also don't need you." He said before walking toward his sister and best friend. This was more trouble than it was worth. Although Fleamont wouldn't admit it out loud, he felt bad for cursing bystanders or even trying to curse his brother in his rage.

That's not the reason he has trained gruesomely for.

"Your idiotic friend who took the curse for a stranger would probably turn back into a human, in twenty minutes." He said before walking out of the compartment, his sister and trend following behind.

"Damn Hufflepuffs." He clicked his teeth in annoyance before closing the door shut, leaving Harry in a silent room.

"Ow, that was more painful than I expected." The squeaky child-like voice said from below, nearly startling Harry as he looked down to see a white-blue duck who was showing characteristics of a Human.

"Why did you do that?! How did you do that?!" Harry asked in a panic before taking a deep breath, calming himself down.

"I don't know." Duck shrugged its white wings, "We were introducing ourselves so, I thought I was making friends. And after your evil twin threw a spell at you, my magic reacted on its own." Duck sighed before jumping from the ground to the seat.

"Oh, accidental magic," Harry muttered before smiling slightly. "I've been in the same situation once, I was running away from some bullies then bam! I'm on the rooftop from the playground at school."

"Damn," Duck said before flailing his wings, probably trying to fly but failing miserably. Harry couldn't help but laugh at the comical scene in front of his eyes.

"By the way, I never introduced myself, did I?" Duck jumped from its seat and landed near Harry's leg.

"It's Heliel Riddle." He offered his left feathered wing. "Friends?"

"Weird." He noted looking at the offered wing before grasping gently. "But I accept ." He deadpanned before bursting into laughter.

Today's been one rollercoaster of emotion after another. He found out he was not an orphan, then he found out freaking magic was real, and on top of it all, he had two twins or triplets if he counted himself.

Then that redheaded bitch had the nerve to say she abandoned him to protect him because she thought he was magicless, unlike his other sibling.

Harry wondered if he would still be abandoned at the Dursleys if his dad were alive.

And he was already expecting a fight with his siblings. Not on the train, mind you, he expected to deal with him at school.

The only positive that came out of this was possibly his first friend. Well, he was not sure about this friendship thing yet but he was willing to try.

"So, do you still think being a mediocre wizard is worth it?" His human-turned-duck friend asked with a very serious face, which looked a hundred times funnier because it was the face of a duck and the voice of a very small child.

"What do you mean?"

Heliel turned his to the window,

"If you are set on being an ordinary Wizard, an average face in the crowd, how are you going to protect your friends and family from dangers that can't be stopped by average men?"

Harry tried to answer, he did but nothing came out of his mouth.

"You see Harry, there are many types of people in this world, some good, some bad, some lazy, some hard-working, some talented, but which type of people are at the top of the food chain?"

"Talented and hardworking?" Harry guessed.

"Wrong and right at the same time," Heliel answered cryptically. "These all types of people can rule the world if they have one thing, Harry, Ambition. Only Ambition breeds strength for those who want it,"

"Without Ambition, no matter who you are or which trait you have, you're just an obstacle in the eyes of those who possess Ambition and searching strength."

"So what you're suggesting? Possibly not becoming Darth Vader I hope." He joked, hiding about how he was awed by a speech given by someone near his age. He was not sure if his new friend got a Star Wars reference.

"And to be honest, I think friendship is more important than any kind of strength." He added.

Duck's head turned toward him.

"Then you must have lots of friends if you believe that statement, Harry."

And just like that, his confidence shattered into a million pieces. Harry hated this feeling, a feeling of hypocrisy inside him.

How he had any right to preach about friendship and love if he hadn't experienced it in the first place?

"But Ambition for strength, that sounds evil for some reason." He voiced out.

"There is no good and evil Harry. There is only Power and those who are too weak to see it." Blue glints in those orbs shone more than ever before.

"I'm not saying that you should hurt anyone to your benefit, that might be against your moral code, what I am saying is that you shouldn't hinder yourself or lose the opportunity to get stronger or remain weak for something like friendship."

Harry was even more conflicted by this. Seeing this much conflict on Harry's face, Duck's blue eyes softened.

"If that's hard to believe, look at us. I consider you a friend, friend enough to defend you. You didn't need any effort to make a friend. It's the same in school. You don't have to try to make friends, just be yourself, focus on your study, advance your magic, and move toward your life goal. And in this process, you will attract other people around you. And in these people, you'll find the friends you're looking for."

Harry looked a little enlightened as he thought through his new friend's words. The harder he thought, the more it started to make sense.

Heliel was right. What's the point of making lots of friends if you can't help them in their times of need because you were weak? And what if his friendship was one-sided?

His friend was right. If you were stronger, more charismatic, more skilled, or more ambitious, people would flock to you. And if you have none of these things, you're just a victim, someone else's tool, a damned NPC, or an exp bag for real players.

This was the moment Harry decided he would become the most powerful and influential man in the wizarding world. So he could find his friends and loved ones among the crowd and protect them with all of his might.

Yes, things were starting to make sense now.

Harry was about to say something when he was interrupted again as the door slammed open again and a bushy-haired girl entered the carriage.

"Has anyone seen a toad? Neville's lost one" she said. She had a bossy sort of voice, lots of bushy brown hair, and rather large front teeth.

Harry noticed his Duck friend's eyes widening comically as Duck jumped from his seat, soaring his feathered wing as he hurled himself at the girl.

"Hermione-! Auck!" The duck was instantly slammed into the floor as Hermione punched the bird in panic. Said bird was writhing in pain while mumbling something along of 'why Hermione?'

"I'm so sorry!" Hermione looked panicked as she apologized to Harry. She looked back at the bird before something clicked in her head.

She asked, confused, "Did your pet bird just talk, and why is it a duck?".

Harry looked awkward and didn't know how to explain to this strange girl.

And thank the magic he didn't need to explain anything as Duck shone like a beacon in the room. In the next moment, the duck grew its size, slowly morphing into a boy, before turning into Heliel Riddle once more.

Thankfully his clothes are still intact.

(Heliel's POV)

Magic Resistance levelled up

Magical Resistance: 2/30

The caster is surrounded by void particles known as Anti Magic, disrupting foreign mana around the caster's body.

At least something good came out of my life as a duck.

"Wow, Hermione, sure feel the love right now," I said, a little snark in my voice as I stood on my feet.

"Heliel." She said in surprise before pulling me for a quick hug with a bright smile. "I was so worried when I didn't find you before." She exclaimed, separating as her bossy tone died out.

"I'm not very comfortable with crowds so I kinda came here to hide." I chuckled nervously at the end. I was not lying even. Sure I could pretend to be a social person with Gamer's Mind, but that wouldn't be the real me.

"Ahem." Harry coughed, gaining our attention. "I didn't know you already had a friend," Harry said before offering a hand to Hermione.

"Harry Potter,"

"Hermione Granger."

I smiled slightly as I noticed the two of them got along instantly. Is this because Ron was not here to ruin it with a snide remark?

"I'll see you guys at school, I promised Neville to help him find his toad." She sighed for some reason, remembering the awkward boy.

"Oh and you should put on some robes, we are close to school, a senior student mentioned it." She said to Harry and waved me off before walking out of the room.

"She was certainly something," Harry commented as he observed Hermione.

"Yeah, she's a bit of an enthusiastic type but kind at heart. I met her at Diagon Alley after my shopping and helped her and her parents to look around."

Harry nodded at that, we talked about various aspects of our childhood. Even if you forget minor details like the fact that Lily Potter had triplets instead of just Harry, nothing seems out of place in his background. She survived, but James kicked the bucket.

When Harry didn't show any signs of accidental magic as an infant, he got ditched. God knows what was going on inside Lily's head at the time.

The grief of her husband's death? She panicked because she was worried about raising three children. Or did she think Harry was safe in the Muggle world? Or was it some sort of grand plan of Albus 'too many middle names' Dumbledore?

Who knows? I wasn't abandoned in favour of my twin.

After that, we talked about all the accidental magic we performed. Harry said that it started to show up after his sixth birthday when his aunt cut off his hair and it grew back overnight.

Ever since he met Hagrid, he's been sneaking into Diagon Alley, learning much more about the magical world, and finding out about his family.

Boy was he pissed.

After he told me all that, I also gave him my abridged version of the story, missing gory details of course. I was making horror stories into comedy, and it kinda worked.

Who knew this guy liked dark humour?

Suddenly we were interrupted, again.

Three boys entered, the leader being a carbon copy of the man I met at the station. The same silvery blonde hair, grey-blue eyes, and pale skin. The lackeys had brown hair and eyes, with a bit of muscle on them, but there was nothing remarkable about them. Both of them were unattractive and looked extremely mean. Standing on either side of the pale boy, they looked like bodyguards.

Draco Malfoy

Level 12

Little Dragon

"Is it true?" he said. "Everyone is saying that Fleamont Potter is in this compartment. So it's you, isn't it?"

"No," said Harry with a frown. "I'm the third one." He admitted it.

"Oh, the squib one?" Draco Malfoy snorted. "Wait, that was real? Haha, I thought it was a silly rumour."

"Wow, I did not know that heir of the House of Malfoy was blind and stupid," I said in faux surprise as I chuckled, enjoying riling up the boy.

"How dare you?!" Malfoy's heir exploded as his pale face flushed at such petty insults. He was way too easy to rile up.

"I mean, my good friend Harry is in his Hogwarts uniform, aboard the Hogwarts Express. So either you must be blind or stupid to call Harry a squib. Last time I checked Squibs weren't allowed to attend Hogwarts."

Draco looked even madder if his beet-red face was any indication. His two muscle guards grunted as they loomed behind Draco, probably trying to intimidate me.

He shouted in anger, "Do you even know who I am?" He looked cute rather than intimidating. g.

"You really must be stupid." Harry interrupted. "He just said Malfoy heir a few moments ago." He deadpanned, turning Draco's red face to steam face.

"Crabbe! Goyle!" He screamed in fury. His guards didn't even hesitate as they charged at Harry, who was closer to them than me.

Harry undoubtedly looked a little panicked as any normal boy around his age would be. But worry not Harry, I'm not letting anyone touch you until you get shoved inside Slytherin dungeon.

My future depends on it.

By getting Harry into Slytherin, the Potter family would be in shambles, because of Fleamont and Ron hating Slytherin.

And Dumbledore would be too busy dealing with this in addition to his jobs. Most Dumbledores in the multiverse are obsessed with the Potter family, and sometimes even their puppet master. So if I can distract him with the Potters, he would have no time for me. Especially if I behave like a polite little boy in front of the teachers.

It should at least buy me time until I can raise my level enough to handle Dumbledore.

Without wasting any more time, I blinked beside Harry and lifted my feet upward.

This move was something nobody expected as Crabbe collided with my boot, my feet impacting against his throat.

While this happened, Harry took out his wand from the holster attached to his sleeve and pointed to another approaching Malfoy goon, Goyle.

"Petrificus Totalus!"

And the poor boy froze, his smug and mean expression still on his frozen face. Without even twitching his expression, the boy fell on the floor with a thud.

"Not bad," I commented before standing up from the seat I teleported and throwing a punch at Crabbe, who was still gagging while clutching his throat.

I held back considerably but my victim still whirled back, airborne for a few moments before colliding on the wall, inches away from the terrified blond boy. He then fell unconscious, at Draco's feet.

"It may surprise you but I'm way stronger than I look," I announced, pointing at my slender body before pointing at the unconscious muscle boys under our feet.

"No doubt." Harry huffed. "My foot would've fractured if I pulled that stunt anytime soon." He added with a small smile, before laughing.

'This must be how it feels to have someone on your side.' Harry thought a little viciously while remembering Dudley and his friends ganging up on him. Now that roles were reversed Harry was getting an unhealthy amount of pleasure seeing the rapidly paling face of Malfoy.

"Now now, little Malfoy?" I grabbed his collar and pinned him against the train's wall when he stopped struggling, all of Draco's bravado melted away.

"Now why don't you tell me your name and why am I supposed to care?" I asked, my smile giving off a little malice as I let out my killing intent, not fully of course.

"I-I am Draco." He stuttered before composing himself as he threw a glare at me. "Heir of House Malfoy and The Most Ancient and Noble House of Black. Do you think you can get away with touching me?"

Both of us stared at each other, with Harry watching to see what would happen.

What they weren't expecting was for me to burst into laughter.

"Hahaha, Ah, you're Cissy's son aren't you? I met your parents just before getting on the train." I leaned closer to his ear. "Cousin." I pulled back away from him with a smug grin on my face.

"Cousin?" Harry asked while Draco looked at me with shock.

"Yeah, technically all purebloods in Britain are related but Draco over here and I are closely related," I revealed.

"I'm the son of Regulus Black, but I am taking my mother's name." I bowed in a faux and mocking tone toward a shocked Draco. "The official Heir of House Black at your service."

This time he was thoroughly defeated. He couldn't beat me, physically or magically, not to mention both of us. And verbally or politically, I stunned him.

"Impossible…." Draco trailed off, gazing at my face in a new light. "You do have her face." He whispered. "How? How did you end up with her face?" he stammered, nearly having a mental breakdown, which significantly confused me.

"Now you're just confusing me." I sighed in irritation. All the urge to fight was gone in an instant. "Now Draco, why don't you be a good little boy and take you-!"

I ducked quickly, obeying my instincts as a red-hot magical beam soared over my head. Unfortunately, Harry was not so lucky as it collided with Harry's chest. He immediately collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

"Stunning charm? How boring." I said blandly before freezing up. While I was standing someone was already behind me as I felt a wooden stick poking at the back of my neck.

"Give me your Wand." A cold female voice ordered as it poked a little harder at the back of my neck, trying to intimidate me probably.

"Here." I decided to entertain her for a while. It's not like I need a wand to deal with a bunch of kids. Even Draco looked scared of whoever was behind me.

Because as much as Draco was relieved, he was equally nervous for some reason. He just stared at the mystery girl behind him without running away or even moving from his position.

"Are you okay Draco?" She asked, a bit warmer this time but still with a flat tone. The blonde just nodded mutely as I laughed at the blonde's submissive behaviour.

"What's so funny? I hissed as she yanked my wand from the offered hand.

"Now that you have drawn your Wand, are you prepared to curse me?" I asked while activating Gamer's Mind at full force as I focused all of my negative emotions in my voice.

"What?" The girl asked, surprised by my sudden change of tone. This was the only opportunity I needed as I backpaddled, my elbow slamming into her gut. The girl dropped both wands in her hands as she flew and dropped into the seat I was seating in before I teleported a few moments ago.

Harpe flew to my open palm as soon as I opened my hands. The girl however was stronger than I thought as her wand sped toward her waiting palm.

"What I meant is blonde number two, Wands are not for threatening, it's for action." I pointed at Girl as I fired a jet of water toward Girl without any incantation.

The girl just scoffed as she quickly got on her feet, stepping aside as water passed by her and collided with a seat behind her harmlessly.

"Who are you…" The girl trailed off as she asked while staring at my face with widened eyes, which almost mirrored my own as I observed her face.

Delphini Malfoy (Riddle)

Level 40

The Successor

"Why are you here?" She whispered, some recognition in her eyes. Somehow she recognized me, while I have some clues due to familiarity with her name.

The only thing that shocked me was her face. It was the same as me. Of course, the only difference between us was her long creamy blonde hair. But our nose, facial structure, eyes, chin, lips, ears, and skin, all were the same as if we were twins.

Twin?

Twin?!

"Ahh!" I screamed for the first time since I received the Gamer system as I felt something snapping inside. I was so unfamiliar with pain because of these wonderful months, I nearly shed tears as something burned inside me. But I held on. I was no newcomer to pain.

I was surprised. Beyond surprised as I felt my body rushing toward her. I was still in control of my mind, there were no whispers in the back of my mind. No dark power to tempt me to the dark side.

I just wanted to kill her, simple as that.

However, Delphini was a lot stronger than I thought she was as she shot stunning charms at me again, and this time three beams left her wand simultaneously. It was truly impossible to dodge such an attack.

However, I was not normal.

I jumped, easily reaching the ceiling of the train, landing once the beams were past me as I landed in front of her. As I raised my fist, forgetting the Wand for the moment, my hand glowed blue as I swung with force at her head, intent on destroying her brain. I had every intention to kill her on my first day.

Delphini's blue eyes shone brightly as I felt myself freeze. I was somehow petrified.

This was the ability granted to her by the bond, I could feel it.

"Please don't move." She pleaded, her commanding tone absent. I looked at her more intensely as I observed her. She was taller than me, with more flexible limbs that were superior to mine, but I had raw power on my side.

I just needed one effective shot to end her.

"Tell me, how is it possible that I want to kill you in our first meeting, that I was willing to throw everything aside, my plans for Hogwarts, my plans for the future, my ambitions? I am willing to sacrifice everything just to kill you." I let my mouth speak while making an identical face to a certain Kenpachi from another universe.

"You're my twin, my evil twin." She answered. "That's all I know." She was hiding many things, I could just tell by sensing her emotions, lots of doubt, fear, and worry.

"But I am your twin!" Draco shouted, nearly in tears.

No, you're adopted," I said, surprising both blondes as my face morphed from bloodthirsty to teasing in a flash. "That's why your parents love her more than you," I added jokingly. But of course, certain pompous children didn't know much about sarcasm.

It looked like I hit a nerve as Draco looked crestfallen for some reason. He threw a nasty glare at my twin and walked away in a hurry.

"Wait, no I'm adopted." She tried to clear the misunderstanding but Draco was already running away, not listening to her for a moment.

I burst into giggles as I watched her face fall. "You sure love that boy don't you?"

"He was not supposed to learn like this." She muttered before glaring at me. "You manipulated him."

I shrugged, at least trying to, but I was still frozen. "I just assumed they pampered Voldymom's child more than their own," I said. n. "It's not my fault he was a fool."

"I don't have time for this." She scoffed in anger as she waved her Wand, Crabbe, and Goyle's unconscious bodies began to float as they moved toward my twin.

"Don't follow if you know what's good for you." She threatened, real hostility seeping into her voice, which just made me smile for some reason. "Because I won't be the only one to fire curses at you next time."

And she was gone, slamming the door of my compartment loudly before walking away. Sheleft me paralyzed and Harry unconscious..

I fell to my knees in deep breaths as I regained control of my body. The killing urges vanished rather than me being back to control. I never lost control. It was all me.

"Game." I gasped as I stood. "I know you're not just a tool attached to me. I've been feeling you ever since last month. Answer me dammit, why did your Gamer's Mind fail me!"

I am surprised you noticed me.

Yellow letters started to form in front of my eyes.

But make no mistake, I will not interfere with your life without good reason. The world doesn't need a Gamer System, It needs a player, and you are mine.

Next time you accuse me of something I'll reset your progress, remember that.

And it is threatening me. Great, just Great. Okay then oh Great System, answer me, why did I snap like that? I thought I was immune to that stuff.

Gamer's Mind will protect your mind. That is absolute. But things like Fear, bloodlust, lust, hunger, and many more things you humans experience are not just emotions.

Those are instincts. And you need those instincts to survive. Therefore, the Gamer's Mind will do nothing against it.

Unfortunately for you, that side effect of your corrupted twin bond is Instinct. So do some research before pointing fingers.

Suffice it to say I was too stunned to react. After that, no matter how much I tried to talk to my system, it never responded.t.

I gave up on it and began brainstorming what to do in the future while placing an unconscious Harry on the seat.

Maybe I should doze off too before we reach Hogwarts.

(Lucius Malfoy's POV) A few hours ago

He held back a slight shiver as a familiar pair of cold blue eyes looked at him mockingly before walking away, without a care in the world.

Without a doubt, this was a child of Voldemort. But this one seems to be more apathetic than the Dark Lady herself.

When his mistress was still alive, when she hadn't mutated her body for darker magic, her eyes used to shine bright blue. Her eyes weren't filled with many positive emotions, but at least they appeared to tell the truth by exuding malice.

But the boy? His eyes sparkled in joy and amusement while projecting negative emotion through magic, which was a remarkable feat in and of itself.

So conclusion? The Boy could fake his emotions so well, outsiders couldn't guess what was going on inside the head of that child.

This level of Occlumency far surpassed the emotionless trick by a thousand miles.

"Why is he still a wizard? The ritual ensured that one of them would be powerful by ripping away their twin's magic." She frantically asked her husband, who looked calm and collected but inside he was panicking more than her.

"I don't know why or how? It's magic, a miracle. There is no other explanation for how a boy regrows his magic core."

"It's not a miracle. I raised his sister like my own child, fed her my milk along with Draco, and raised her as Malfoy's daughter. And now her life is in danger."

Lucius placed a comforting hand around his wife. "We trained her since she was seven. She can handle her twin."

"You don't understand dear. Even if it was in the mistress's order, we have tainted most sacred bonds in the magical world. Normally it would not have been a problem since that Vile ritual ripped away one's magic and transferred it to their twin, empowering one while making a squib of the other." She took a deep breath, while seemingly staring into nothing. "But this is different, the boy still has his magic when he wasn't supposed to have a core."

"What people don't know is that there is a side effect of that ritual. One who lost magic to their twin was stripped of a part of themselves along with their magic, crippling them mentally. They become thirsty for their twin's blood to regain what they lost."

His forehead was covered with cold sweat as he recalled the feeling of suffocating magical pressure.

"Normally this victim would become squib and never defeat their magical twin, but this boy, he somehow got his magic back."

"Isn't that a good thing? Now he has no grudge against her anymore."

"I wish that was the case, I really do. But like all other bonds in this world, the twin bond among us is very powerful. And we have corrupted that bond. Delphi still carries his magical core inside her soul along with her own."

"Then let's just pray she can handle her deranged twin with her abilities. Politics is not going to work against that boy, somehow I can tell." Lucius commented before entering, the Floo network connected to Malfoy's mansion. His wife followed behind him while silently praying that her daughter would be safe in Hogwarts.

(Heliel's POV)

I laughed humorlessly as I remembered what happened an hour ago, how outclassed I was in front of my twin.

Sure I was powerful in brute strength that was nearly borderline superhuman, yet she had control of every single second the fight went by.

But that was not what I was upset with. I know higher-level opponents were beatable. Usually, in RPGs or MMORPGs, boss fights were beatable yet these bosses would always be higher level than players in most cases. So defeating higher-level opponents was possible with enough tact and opportunities.

I could have defeated Delphini if I didn't go berserk like some edgelord of some trashy Isekai.

But in her presence, I just snapped, forgot about my skills, and just tried to bash her skull off.

All because of some damn magical instincts.

I need to control myself better, and not be driven by instincts like animals.

"Status." I droned, looking at my status sheet. I was progressing but it was too slow. Man how I miss that Instant dungeon skill.

Damn, I had all these skills I honed for months, and what do I do? Charge at the enemy like a raging bull.

Maybe I needed some flashbacks in the middle of a fight to remember these moves or unexpected power-ups like Luffy or Naruto.

"Ugh, did Dudley push me down the stairs again?" Harry groaned in dizziness as he rubbed his forehead. If we were any older I would've joked about having a hangover like that.

With a wave of my hand, a ball of water explodes in his face, waking him up from his hangover.

"Sorry to disappoint but you're on the Hogwarts Express" I drawled while standing up from my seat.

"Oh, wait…what happened?" He asked while wiping his wet face with his sleeve.

"A stunning spell hit you. Don't worry though, nothing serious happened."

"You call being unconscious for hours nothing serious." He deadpanned.

"Yes," I didn't waver for a bit. "It is only serious if you're dying or losing a limb,"

"Now I'm starting to believe the first friend I made is possibly insane. Just my luck." He cursed himself. Despite his words, a small smile was still on his face.

Before he frowned again. He would never be swatted away if he were powerful.

While his friend fought alone, he was knocked out in the first round. Just recalling the fight, his fist clenched in pain.

"Enough brooding around." I snapped my finger in front of his face. "This is just the start of the school year, the trouble we had on the train today will be laughable compared to the troubles we will get at the end of this semester." I tried to cheer him up. But that seemed to have no effect as he looked more depressed.

Oh, he will be fine after seeing Hogwarts.

The train slowed down considerably and finally stopped. People pushed their way toward the door and out onto a tiny, dark platform.

"Aren't we taking our trunks?" Harry asked.

"Nah, House-elves will bring them to our rooms, don't worry about it."

I shivered in the cold night air as we both left our compartments and left the train with little effort among the crowd. Suddenly a lamp came bobbing over the heads of the students, and we heard a familiar voice: "Firs' years! Firs' years over here! All right there, Harry?"

Hagrid's recognizable big hairy face beamed over the sea of heads.

Harry seemed to visibly perk up as he waved at the gentle giant excitedly while I stayed behind.

He was even taller than I'd expected- Reading about him in a book was something, but seeing him in person was another thing entirely. He was gigantic, with a stout build, likely hiding the incredibly dense muscles beneath.

A horde of students headed toward slipping and stumbling down a steep, narrow path, depriving the pair of their chance for reunion.

"Yeh'll get yer firs' sight o' Hogwarts in a sec," Hagrid called over his shoulder, "jus' round this bend here. "

A large group of first year students were led to a tiny paddock away from the platform, and Hagrid spoke. "Each of ya get in fours and get into a boat! Quickly now!" he said hurrying to help the first years form groups.

There was a loud "Oooooh!"

"No more'n four to a boat!" Hagrid called, pointing to a fleet of little boats sitting in the water by the shore.

Among the crowd, I grabbed Hermione as she looked a little spooked when an unknown hand grabbed her suddenly.

"Whoa! Don't do that, I would've poked your eye with my wand." She scolded lightly as she finally stopped in her tracks. Sniffing Neville, right beside her.

"I'm not letting you ditch me again." I pouted.

"I was not ditching!" She replied instantly as she wavered, my pout taking its effect. "Okay okay, we are going together. Come on Neville, introduce yourself."

We all sweat dropped as Neville completely ignored her, still mumbling something about 'Trevor'.

Ignoring him we all climbed into a small boat, Hermione and Harry were chatting about something while I looked around us in wonder at Neville's side. We were in the last row of the boat while Hagrid's leading boat was at the front, way distance between us.

"Everyone in?" shouted Hagrid, who had a boat to himself. "Right then - FORWARD!"

And the fleet of little boats moved off all at once, gliding across the lake, which was as smooth as glass. Everyone was silent, staring up at the great castle overhead. It towered over them as they sailed nearer and nearer to the cliff on which it stood.

"Heads down!" yelled Hagrid as the first boats reached the cliff. Harry and I both deadpanned as other students also bowed, which was completely unnecessary because only Hagrid was a Giant among us.

The boats left the cavern onto the Great Lake, and Hogwarts Castle was there in all its glory. Reading about it hadn't done it justice, and neither had the films to an extent.

Tall and ornate, a true epic. The Four Founders really had created a castle to last millennia.

What greeted us after this was the only way to describe it. Magical. The Glowing castle was so overflowing with magical energy that it nearly made me faint. The sheer quantity of mana surpassed the feeling I got when I was in the middle of London.

The magic density here was almost Godlike here. Instead of absorbing the magic from the world, the castle was breathing out magical energy. It seems like the Founders didn't just choose this location because of its isolation from major mundane settlements but also because of the leylines flowing underneath this place.

"Wow." Hermione gasped, expressing how we felt when gazing at Hogwarts for the first time as it burned itself in our memory.

Suddenly Hogwarts vanished from our view as we were carried along a dark tunnel, which seemed to be taking them right underneath the castle until they reached a kind of underground harbour, where all students clambered out onto rocks and pebbles.

"Oy, you there! Is this your toad?" said Hagrid, who was checking the boats as people climbed out of them.

"Trevor!" cried Neville blissfully, holding out his hands as practically jumped out of our boat, nearly toppling us over alongside our boat.

I took my first step on the castle floor and felt a tingle sweep through my entire body.

That had felt almost exactly like when I was entering Platform Nine and Three Quarters! I narrowed my eyes, recognizing the feeling of being scanned by wards.

Notification-The User was scanned by the Wards of Hogwarts.

40% Magic Boost

The Ultimate Luck cancelled the 50% Luck boost

Again this perk did nothing but caused me trouble again. Ahh, nothing to be concerned about. At least I'm getting a forty percent magic boost.

Again in stunned silence, we all followed lamp-wielding Hagrid as we walked across damp, smooth grass and walked up a flight of stone steps, and crowded around the huge, oak front door.

"Everyone here? You there, still got yer toad?" He asked Neville,

Hagrid raised a gigantic fist and knocked three times on the castle door.

The oaken door opened at the third knock, revealing the stern visage of who could only be Minerva McGonagall, wearing a set of green robes.
