You'll Always Be Loved By Me

Summary: Harm tells Mac in song.

Disclaimer: JAG ain't mine, Brooks and Dunn sing this lovely song.

In the crowded McMurphy's bar, Harm stood, amongst all his friends and co-workers from JAG. He heard the door open and looked in that direction to see the love of his life, and his best friend Sarah Mackenzie walk in. Mac made her way through the crowd to join the group of her friends. "Where's Harm?" she asked, looking at Harriet.

"I don't know, I saw him a few minutes ago." Mac frowned and began to scan the crowd for a glimpse of him. The crowd began to applaud and Mac heard a familiar voice ring out through the room. "This one's for you Sarah." Harm looked up at the stage to see a flyboy grin on Harm's face.

"I know forever is a long, long time

for a girl

to put her heart on the line

trust is a tight rope

we all have to walk

baby, don't be afraid

I won't let you fall

with a little faith

mountains move

you and me

we can't lose"

Mac stood, her face growing redder as she stared, wide-eyed at the man of her dreams belting it out on stage. She glanced at her friends, who all seemed to have the same surprised expression on their faces. Mac pushed her hair out of her face and looked up at him again.

"You can count on the sun to rise

and the stars to come out at night

as long as there's air to breathe

you'll always be loved by me."

Harm looked out into the crowd and into the eys of his best friend. He could see the surprise and the tears in her eyes, that were threatening to spill over. Harm smiled. 'It's working, she's falling for me' he thought to himself.

"Love comes

so many times goes

so much out there

we'll never know

call it fate

call it destiny

I think we were meant to be

this whole world

it spins so fast

so many things

they just don't last."

Mac began to make her way to the stage, slowly. She glided through the crowd, like she was walking on air. She soon came to the edge of the stage and looked up at him. He just grinned and kept singing.

"You can count on the sun to rise

and the stars to come out at night

as long as there's air to breathe

you'll always be loved by me."

Harm reached down and grabbed Mac's hand, pulling her onto the stage. With the micophone in one hand and her hand in the other, he got down on one knee. Mac just smiled and sent a silent prayer heavenward. 'Please let this be what I think it is.' Behind him on the wall, a single message was projected. 'Sarah. I love you. Will you Marry Me?'

"You can count on the sun to rise

and the stars to come out at night

as long as there's air to breathe

you'll always be loved by me."

Mac just nodded, over and over as the tears spilled down her cheeks. She finally managed to get out a choked 'Yes.' Harm jumped up and pulled the ring from his pocket, slipping onto her finger. He kissed her softly as their co-workers cheered, the pool was checked for a winner, and the last strains of the song dissappeared.

"You'll always be loved by me."
