The rain had gradually started to fall when Eliza, Spirit and Darwin rode into the Charter Square Shopping Center, where they saw Miss Gulch's bike outside the Chalet Ticino.

"This looks easy enough." said Spirit.

"Or so we think." said Darwin, whom he looked at, annoyed.

"Come on." Eliza said, hurrying to the bike, softly tapping on the basket.

"Toto, are you OK in there?' she asked softly.

"Eliza, is that you?" Toto asked from inside.

"And Spirit too." added Spirit.

"And where does that leave me, huh?" asked Darwin.

"You keep an eye on Gulch while we get Toto out." said Eliza.

"Oh, I just know we'll get in trouble for this." Darwin said to himself as he peeked inside the resturant, where Miss Gulch was sitting across the table with another woman, who said. "I'm glad you would accept my invitation for a light lunch."

"Well, you're lucky I had nothing to eat since this morning." said Miss Gulch. "Now, what's this all about, Miss..."

"...de Winter." the woman said, lighting her cigarette holder. "Milady...de Winter."

"Uh, scusi, signorina." said the waiter. "You cannot smoke in..."

As he spoke, Milady's falcon zoomed towards him, screeching loudly.

"Uh...as you were." the waiter said, backing away.

Outside the resturant, Eliza carefully untied the basket, with Toto inside, from Miss Gulch's bike as Spirit watched.

Darwin was doing the same thing as Milday said. "As I was about to say, the reason I called for you is because your assistance is required to rid the world...of him!"

She laid a school photo...of me on the table, pushing it towards Miss Gulch, who laughed. "Let me get this straight. You called for me all the way from Half Moon Bay to talk about some...brat?"

"He's more capable than you think." said Milady. "But...with the king of Foster City School getting weaker and weaker by the second, this will leave the fantasy boy, as he is often called, unprotected.

"Nobody knows when that passing day will happen." Milady went on. "But when it does, there will be no stopping us from..."

Just then, her falcon screeched louder, for it noticed Darwin spying at them.

The chimpanzee slammed the door on the charging bird and ran to tell Eliza and Spirit. "We've been spotted!"

Miss Gulch ran out to the window, where she could see Eliza and Darwin climbing onto Spirit's back, with Toto still in the basket.

"Hey, give that basket back!" she demanded, running outside.

Thinking fast, Spirit kicked her bike into the street with his hind legs.

"My bike!" Miss Gulch cried as a passing car ran through her bike.

She lunged at Spirit, but he rode off, carrying Eliza, Darwin and Toto out of Charter Square, while calling out. "Good luck catching us now, you hag!"

"Perhaps we'll pick this up tomorrow...at the Alphas' old haunt." Milady said to Miss Gulch while giving her falcon another note.

Debbie was just about to cross the street from the bus stop when Spirit rode past her, knocking the overflowed shopping bags from her hands to the wet street.

"Hey!" she hollered. "I just bought those!"

"Sorry, Debbie! No time to explain!" Eliza called out as she, Darwin and Toto rode Spirit through the gate of Foster City School, where inside, Longbourne, another Omega spotted them through his binoculars while drinking alongside his fellow Omega, Greedy.

"I see something!" he said with the binoculars in his mouth, from which Greedy pulled them, saying "Give me those!"

Seeing Spirit passing through with Eliza, Darwin and Toto in tow, he said. "Must be another one of them Imaginaries. Sound the alarm!"

Noticing the fire alarm by the classroom door, Longbourne pulled on it.

The loud sound echoed as Spirit, Eliza, Darwin and Toto got closer to the other side...until Spirit was pulled back, causing Eliza and Darwin to be thrown off his back and onto the ground.

Toto leapt out the basket, letting out a bark, which was heard by Dorothy, who hurried out of the girls' room, exclaiming. "Toto, darling! Oh, I got you back! You came back! Oh, I'm so glad!"

While hugging her precious dog, she realized. "Miss Gulch will be back for you any minute. We've got to get away! We've got to run away!"

As she watched Dorothy run with Toto in her arms, Eliza turned to Darwin, asking. "Where's Spirit?"

They turned to see Spirit inside the Omega fence, noticing the rope around his neck.

He, then, looked to see Scroop crawling back down...holding the rope.

"We warned you Imaginaries what will happen the next time one of you sets foot on our side of the school!" he sneered.

"Your side of the..." Spirit sputtered, then lunged at Scroop, only to be roped by Meltdown, who hollered. "Yahoo! Let's rope him up, Omegas!"

One by one, as the rain poured hard from the thundering sky, the Omegas threw their ropes around Spirit.

"Hold him! Hold him!" called Birdbrain Mary.

"I am holding him!" called Onus, another Omega.

Spirit tried to run to the gate, but the Omegas pulled him back.

Upon hearing his agonized neighing, Rain galloped towards the gate, crying. "Spirit!"

"Stop!" Eliza cried as she ran to the gate as well. "Let him go!"

But Scroop closed the gate in front of her, Rain and Darwin, saying. "If there's one thing we Omegas can't stand, it's one interference after another.

"Now, be on your way, or..." he added, aiming his pistol at Spirit.

His fellow Omegas did the same thing.

Eliza and Rain stared in horror at what they were seeing. But they knew there was nothing they could do now.

Rain turned to Eliza, glaring at her and galloped towards the playground.

Eliza turned back to Spirit, but Darwin pulled her from the gate.

With a smug smile, Scroop lowered his pistol, then ordered. "Board him up!"

The Omegas dragged away Spirit, who exclaimed. "Hey, hey, hey! Easy with the neck!"

In the midst of all the commotion, neither of them noticed Milady's falcon watching from atop the roof.
