In the underground base of Wartwood, Sasha had Anne, Luz, Amity, Polly, Hunter, Dipper, Sprig, Hop Pop, Sasha's Angels and Pacifica in the war room together in for a meeting on something important.

"Good morning everyone." Sasha said. "Hang on, what time is it?"

Hop Pop pulled out a handheld watch. "Uh….8 AM. Oh wait, have the clocks gone backwards?"

"Alright everyone, here are today's missions." Sasha announced as she pointed to a map. "Okay, there is a large number of Andrias soldiers in this area that are rounding up people that refuse to comply. Anne, Dipper, Sprig and Hunter shall be sent to handle them. Got it?"

"Yes ma'm!" Hunter saluted Sasha.

"Yes babe." Anne responded before stuttering. "I..I…I..I..mean, yes Sash."

"Awwwww! You two are like me and Ivy." Sprig cooed.

"Sprig, don't mention that." Sasha commanded.

Sprig saluted Sasha. "Yes ma'm."

Dipper approached his girlfriend. "Good luck with what your mission is." The two shared a quick kiss on the lips.

"You too." Pacifica leaned closer to his ear. "Because I have a mission for you when we get back."

Hop Pop narrowed his eyes at the two. "Please don't." He pleaded. "We're practically next door."

"What will they do, Hop Pop?!" Polly asked.

"Polly, you'll know when you're older." Hop Pop replied.

Dipper, Anne, Hunter and Sprig ran out of the room to do their mission. "Hey Dipper, what are you and Pacifica, doing?" Sprig asked.

"Dude, don't ask. You're too young to know this." Anne replied.

"What about me?" Hunter asked. "I have no idea what they're up to either."

"You're….mentally too young." Anne replied.

Sasha then turned to Hop Pop and Sasha. "Hop Pop and Polly, we have missing food stocks. Think you can check that out?"

"Of course Sasha." Hop Pop replied before he and Polly ran out.

"Can't wait to solve this mystery." Polly said.

"Polly, do you remember where the bathroom is?" The old frog asked.

"Uh….This better not be my subplot of the day!" Polly exclaimed.

Sasha then turned to Pacifica and the Angels. "Pacifica you and the Angels…."

"I came up with that name." Wally said.

"…..Are going to destroy a factory. Two days ago, Wally and a small group rescued Wigbert Ribbiton who was captured by the Carnivore." She sighed. "That name still isn't really good. I mean, I can't believe we had a survey on what name sounded cooler. I mean, the Predatory bot sounded cooler!"

"No it doesn't." They all said.

"Anyway, Wigbert had revealed to Wally that there is a factory developing new kinds of robots that are being invented by a scientist named Dr Agaricus. Your mission, destroy the factor and arrest this Dr Agaricus." Sasha commanded. "Got that." Sasha and the Angels gave the commander a salute before leaving.

"And finally, Luz and Amity, you two are to find food for the supplies." Sasha commanded. "Because at this point, we might need to eat some people."

"Sasha, I don't think that's a good idea." Luz said.

"Yeah, you could turn into a Wendigo." Amity said. "And if legends of the Boiling Isles taught me anything…"

"Yeah, they probably exist on Earth as well." Sasha interjected. "Make sure you girls find mushrooms and insects that are edible. Good luck girls. Take as long as you need."

Amity bowed while Luz gave Sasha a salute before walking out of the room to hunt for food for the resistance.

Later, outside the Plantar home and deep into the forest, Luz and Amity were investigating the forest fungi to see which one looked good enough to eat. Luz was poking at one of the mushrooms whilst Amity was reading a book about fungi.

The mushroom Luz was poking at was green and had yellow spots. "I don't know Amity, this doesn't look edible."

"According to this book, the yellow spotted mushroom is edible." Amity replied.

Luz picked up a batch and put it in Amity's abomination basket. "You know what sucks about being in Amphibia?" Luz asked her girlfriend.

"What?" Amity asked.

"The others aren't here." Luz replied. "Could you imagine Willow being here?"

Amity smiled. "Yeah. Which means one thing. Hop Pop would have someone else to talk about horticulture with."

Luz chuckled at the idea. "That is a missed opportunity."

"Though, I don't think they'd ever get any sleep and would probably drive most of the town to insanity." Amity remarked. "What about Gus?"

"I don't know how Gus would feel about this place." Luz replied as she and Amity began walking. "But I guess he'd be excited to be in another world. I mean, a lot of the fauna looks similar to Earth's and there could be cool Amphibia stuff."

"I bet he'd find the farming here somewhat exciting." Amity remarked.

"Maybe, he'll be excited about animal life." Luz theorised. "Until they probably try to eat him."

"Speaking of animal life…." Amity pointed to what appeared to be a giant termite hill where a bunch of termites were scurrying about living their lives. The cotton candy haired witch opened a book about Amphibia's bug life. "According to the book. The fire termites of this world are attracted to anything that is hot since a warm area is how they survive. Any idea how to get them in the jar?"

Luz instantly thought of a great idea and pulled out a jar from her bag and a fire glyph. She placed the glyph at the bottom of jar and activated it, causing it to heat up. This caused the sensors on the termites to shake as they began to scurry toward the jar and enter it.

Luz quickly placed the lid on the jar with a smile. "Point to Luz." Then, she suddenly felt that the jar was hot as Titan, causing her to fumble it before Amity caught it in her Abomination basket.

"Careful, Luz." Amity advised her while trying to suppress a chuckle.

Luz playfully narrowed her eyes at her girlfriend. "Ha ha ha. Is there anything else about these termites?"

Amity turned the page. "But before capturing the termites, be sure to kill their Queen or otherwise bad things will happen."

Then, a giant winged termite popped from behind Luz and Amity. The two turned around to face the giant insect with shock before screaming and running for their lives.

The termite Queen began to chase the two as they ran deeper into the forest. It tried to grab them with its giant mandibles and tendrils but it kept missing them.

Luz tried distracting the creature with more fire but it was smarter than its children and actually continued to chase them.

Amity tried blinding it with some Abomination but it only licked it off and started to run closer to them. The girlfriends eventually ended up at a dead end and Luz panicked.

"Oh come on!" Luz exclaimed, annoyed by the dead end. She looked up and saw the edge of a cliff which gave her a bright idea. She quickly began drawing on the ground with her foot.

The termite eventually began to scurry close towards them at top speed and before Amity could use an Abomination to stop the Queen, Luz grabbed her by the waist and pulled her towards her.

"Hang on." Luz commanded to her blushing girlfriend and then, tapped on the glyph on the ground, causing an ice pillar to rise at fast speed and to shoot them on the edge of the cliff.

Amity lost her balance and almost fell, but luckily, Luz grabbed her by the hand before she could fall and pulled her back up though it did cause Amity to fall on top of her girlfriend.

The awkwardness of the situation caused the both of them to blush and then laugh. But the laughter died down when Amity realised something important.

"Wait, the Queen termites can fly." Amity said before the termite flew upwards and was now hovering above them.

The two of them screamed before they got up and got in defensive positions. To fight off the giant insect. But then, it got blown up by someone blasting a missile, causing it to explode into gooey pieces.

The two turned around and saw two of Andrias' robots aiming their weapons at them. "Surrender." One of them commanded.

"You will be taken to Andrias to be his priso…." Before they could finish, Amity threw to shards of Abomination at them in their heads, causing them to be deactivated.

"Shut up." Amity retorted.

Luz dusted herself off. "Uh, are the food supplies at least okay?"

Amity realised that the basket she had beside her was now gone and began to panic. "Oh Titan! Oh, for…"

Luz placed a gentle hand on her shoulder to calm her down. "Take it easy Hermosa. We'll find it."

"Honestly, mission might have been easier if we had Hooty." Amity said.

Luz chuckled. "Though, I think he'd just eat them and have them all to himself."

Amity chuckled at the thought. "That does sound like Hooty. Though, I'd question how he'd get around."

Luz shuddered, remembering Porta Hooty. "You don't wanna know."

"Do I, with Hooty?" Amity asked before she and Luz laughed together.

And so, the two got off the cliff and back into the forest to search for the Abomination basket. During the search, Amity accidentally got her foot stuck in mud but luckily, Luz managed to pull her out thanks to a vine glyph.

Then, Luz walked towards another part of the forest where she accidentally bumped into a strange tree that didn't feel at all like wood. That's when she realised that it was actually the leg of a giant mantis. Luz was about to attack until it suddenly ran away from her. She was at first befuddled but she saw her girlfriend had made a ginormous Abomination to scare it away.

Then, Amity was on top of a tree trying to find the basket. She looked into the distant but due to the branch she was on, it suddenly snapped, causing her to fall. But luckily, Luz had made a flower blanket to cushion her landing.

And then, Luz felt kind of peckish and was about to eat some berries until Amity ran up to her and slapped her hand. Luz was at first annoyed until Amity showed her a page on the book that said that they were greenberries and in large writing it said 'Highly poisonous.'

And then after a while, Amity and Luz remained empty handed and were now resting by a tree, exhausted from all the searching.

"I can't believe we lost the basket." Luz said.

"I know." Amity sighed.

"Least Eda isn't here." Luz said. "I think the Owl Beast would take her over and tear Amphibia apart."

"Yeah, true." Amity agreed. "I mean, how did I lose the basket?" She asked. "It couldn't have gone far."

Luz groaned as she placed her head on Amity's shoulder. "I'd be surprised if it was near from here."

Then, from a tree, a buff looking toad appeared out of nowhere. The toad was dark green, had red irises, dark black eyes and had knife like teeth. He wore nothing but maroon pants and was holding an Abomination basket.

"Well…Well…Well." The toad remarked. "You want this basket?"

"Well, it's got the stuff we need for our base." Luz replied.

"I don't care." The toad replied. He placed the basket down on the ground while Luz and Amity looked annoyed. "You have two options…" The toad began to flex their muscles. "…One is to run up and face me or the other would be to negotiate your property from me." Amity and Luz gave each other knowing glances. "Aww, what's wrong?! Scared of facing me?"

"No." Amity replied before forming Abomination fists while Luz activated her Calamity powers. This caused the toad to be terrified.

"Aww, what's wrong? Scared of facing us?" Luz asked sarcastically.

The toad screamed and threw the basket towards the two with Amity being the one to successfully catch it with her hands. It then ran away in fear while the two girlfriends just stood in place, proud of what they did.

Luz deactivated her powers which caused her to stumble a bit and Amity held her to make sure she doesn't lose her balance. "Take it easy Luz." She carefully sat down in front of a tree while holding on to Luz. "You okay?"

"I'm fine." Luz replied as she took a deep breath. "Just my powers. You know how they are."

"They look powerful." Amity said as she thought of her past with Luz. "You know, if you had those powers during our witches duel, you would have won easily."

"You're wrong, Sweet Potato." Luz said as she leaned on Amity's shoulder. "I would have been too easy for you."

"Come on Luz, you're patronising." Amity argued.

"I mean, King did say you could have beaten me if it weren't for you cheating." It was at this moment, Luz realised she mentioned King and began to sadly stare off into the distance.

"In my defence, I had no idea I was cheating. I just wanted to be great because of my witch of a mother. I mean, in a way…." She then noticed her girlfriend was sobbing and froze in shock. "Luz! Luz! Luz!" She held Luz's hands and gently began to stare at her in her hazel eyes. "Luz, what's wrong?"

Luz sniffled. "I just remembered King. I'm worried for him Amity. I have no idea what Andrias is doing to him right now." She began crying into Amity's shoulder. "I don't know if he's alive or if he's dead. I'm just so scared, Amity."

"Luz, we're going to save him." Amity assured her. "Take deep breaths. You could accidentally activate your powers." She removed Luz from her shoulder and motioned her girlfriend to take deep breaths. "There. There."

"And now with this Day of Unity, I'm even more scared." Luz said. "Willow, Gus, Eda and more people I've met in your world, I'm scared for them. I'm worried of the possibility of us taking too long to stop Andrias or worse, having no way of getting back to the Isles. I know it's a month away, but still. I'm just so scared Amity." She held on to Amity, still crying.

Amity held on to Luz to comfort her while tears of her own fell. "I'm scared too, Luz. But, we are going back to the Demon Realm and we are going to save everyone. I promise you that! I promise."

"Least I have you to give me some hope." Luz said sadly. She then gave a small smile. "Even though the others aren't here and I don't know what the future holds, least I still have the Calamity duo, the Plantars, the paranormal duo, Hunter and you by my side."

Her words made the purple haired witch smile, knowing her girlfriend had finally looked on the bright side. "I'm glad I'm by your side Luz. And I promise, I won't leave your side once this is over."

The two began to stare at each other lovingly before they began to kiss each other very passionately. Sure they've had passionate kisses before, but this one was more exhilarating.

Luz was rubbing her hand all over Amity's shoulder while the witch was rubbing her hand in Luz's hair. Then, Luz's hand moved to Amity's back as she kissed her even harder.

This excitement caused Luz to unknowingly activate her powers. Amity felt that there was something different about the kiss and opened her eyes and pulled out when she saw her girlfriend like this.

"What is it Amity?" Luz asked before looking at her hands. "Oh, right." She deactivated her powers and chuckled nervously. "I guess I shouldn't get too excited."

Amity was stunned by this and then calmed down quickly. "Yeah, might be a good idea." She stood up and picked up her basket. "Come on, I think we've been out long enough." She offered Luz her hand which the human witch took.

The two then began to walk back to the resistance base hand-in-hand. Though both were still worried about what the future holds, they still had each other.

Later at the base, Sasha was looking through a clipboard about all the stuff that needed to be done today. She crossed off 'Spare food supplies' with a grin. "I'm glad that them two aren't Sprivy."

Then, Hop Pop walked past the office and turned to Sasha. "Hey Sash, do you know where the bathroom is?"

"Not now Hop Pop." Sasha replied.

"Understandable." Hop Pop walked away before Pacifica entered the room with scratches and bruises on her face.

"Paz, was the mission successful?" Sasha asked before she slammed the head of a robot on the table. But it wasn't just any robotic head, it was a robotic head of a newt that looked familiar to a description Paz gave out.

"Let's just say we know what they were building." Pacifica replied.
