Harmonia

By Rythem; English lyrics by Tobu Ishi

Neh, can you hear me, my love?
All the skies are limitlessly blue, that's the way they should be

All the seas are fathomlessly huge, that's the way they should be

Even you should always wear a smile--it's the way you should be, please

And if you don't, I'll be crying for you

When we're together you don't have to look around now

You know it's all right

I know that I'm in your heart and when we're apart

You're still in my arms

Someday when you want to cry, when you want to run away

If you can't remember happiness, come on back to me

We'll be singing!

First the light was born above, then the dark was born below

Still the two of them are one--Harmonia (please feel the telepathy)

Neh, can you hear me, my love?

All the clouds are drifting and white, that's the way they should be

All the rain has brightened up the sky, and that's the way it should be

Even you should look up and see that there's a line from you to me, please

Deep in our hearts, calling out hallelujah

You're like a lonely bird that flutters through the heavens

Searching for forever

Why can't you see the invisible bond between us

That ties us together?

Someday when your heart's a mess, at the edge of loneliness

If you're buried in your solitude, close your eyes and see

We'll be singing!

Even when you've gone away, I know you'll come back someday

Underneath the mistletoe--Harmonia (please feel the telepathy)

Neh, can you hear me, my love?

La la la lalala la

Ahhh

To the dreamer that I knew, all my love is sent to you

And I'll bring you back your happiness anywhere you go

Everybody smile!

If you can't remember happiness, come on back to me

We'll be singing!

First the light was born above, then the dark was born below

Still the two of them are one--Harmonia (till the final) telepathy

Neh, can you hear me, my love?

A/N: Every time I listened to this song, potential English lyrics kept popping into my head. Finally, I just sat down and wrote them out, starting a personal trend for translating lyrics that may cause a few more songs to pop up on this account before I tire of it. If I tire of it.

This was performed by me in Sakura cosplay at the open-mike karaoke at Anime Evolution 2004, complete with what someone I met there accurately called "the swaying zombie-chibi dance of doom". However, the mike's range was so limited that it was difficult to dance and be heard, so that I think a lot of the people watching didn't realize I was singing in English. Well, at least the dance was appreciated...
