Disclaimer: Me no own Young Wizards. Simple enough?
Waiting Silence
Silence's POV
I flit around here, waiting, waiting for the wizard to unleash my manual side. The one with the moonfire, dancing sky. The one with the taste of the sun and the pure innocence.
Will they come?
End POV
Darryl McAllister heard the Silence's silence and used it for his wizardry. Learning the Oath would be hard, but he could do it.
Whisperer's POV
Who is the cat or person to hear my soft cries to be used? Who can hear the sad whisper of breeze? Who will hear my whispers on how to use the graceful Speech? Will anyone listen?
End POV
Ronan Nolan listened to the wind, hearing whispers of sounds he never knew, fluttering around. He learned he was to be a wizard, sworn to help protect the world and delay entropy.
Manual's POV
(sigh) The time has come again. The time to choose another.
I sit here, waiting, waiting for that person with the magical wizard-flare. It could be someone no one ever expected. Maybe it's a girl, maybe a boy. Does it really matter? Anyone with the wizardry, the child-like believing, and the ready determination. Wait, is that someone?
Nope.
(sigh) All I ever do is wait. I want to hear the Oath recited, be working on active, display the graceful lines of the Speech, and hear the flowing letters of my language.
Wait, I hear/see/feel something. Is it? Could it be?
A wizard without a manual!
End POV
Nita Callahan ran her fingers over the books' spines and felt her finger being caught by a thread. She pulled the book out. A small, battered book with a red, buckram library binding called So You Want to Be a Wizard. Fascinated, she began to read. Completely bewildered and a bit apprehensive, she borrowed it.
Manual's POV
Good. She might accept. Maybe I will hear the river-like words of the Speech. But I can never guess what Nita Callahan might do. Someday.
End POV
For now, they would be unknowns, but new hopefuls. Perhaps. After this, as they say, is history. But truly, it is only the beginning.
Voila! Just an errant thought at midnight. Very short. Review!
