Elf of the Amazon

Prologue

This is something I made a comic of, and decided to type it up.

Long, long, long ago. When nobody even remembers what point of time it was, there was a myth of a village where only warrior ladies of immortality and great strength lived. No men were allowed, for they were thought upon as inferior and the cause of all wars and pollution.

A stranger with a cloak over top of head, dragged slowly into the small village. The figure slowly collapsed in the dirt road of pail moonlight.

A Amazon maiden rushes over to the side of the stranger, not caring if it could mean exile for her if some one saw.

"Get away from me! You know what will happen to me!" hisses the stranger urgently.

"You're hurt. I will tend your wounds at my home. Regardless of the rules, I cannot leave ye." replied Amazon. She picks him up with amazing strength, and carries the lonely figure to her abode.

She slowly lays the stranger on a table and pulls away the cloak.

"You're not afraid. Nor are you angered. Is this pity you feel?" replied the figure as he flinched from its' wounds.

"Nay, for I have been lonely for time on end. I wish only to see the face of my protector from the dragon."

The figure lifted his as if he wasn't strained from the slashes and burns, and lifted the hood of his tattered cape.

The Amazoness stared into the beautiful, sky blue eyes of an Elf.

"Do not be alarmed!" he replied cautiously, as if she were to bash him with a stick. "I am of not any threat unlike the other mystical creatures in the forest. I'm not from the forest or from here, no the less."

The Amazoness nodded as if in a dream. "His eyes are enchantingly beautiful," she thought.

A sudden roar out side made both of them jump. The Amazoness quickly grabs a spear, as the wounded Elf gets up and tries reaching for his sword.

"You can't fight now, let alone walk! I would rather perish than to see you destroyed!"

"Aye, but I can get your back!"

"No, I can take care of myself!"

"Let's quit moving our mouths, and start moving are selves out!" he shouted in a mockingly, repressed voice.

They both whisked out the door, and rushed down the alley of burnt huts, and mud houses. They rounded a corner just in time to see a golden tail flick out of sight, along with a gust of wind, followed by flapping wings.

"We're too late.. My village is once again in ruins, all because of that a cursed dragon," said the Amazoness with a cracked voice, trying to choke back her tears.

The Elf and Amazoness slowly walked past the half demolished village. Remarkably nothing was lost but homes and animals.

"I have never come across such blessed happening.. You lost some of your earthly possessions, but kept the most important ones of all too. For that, you are truly blessed!" commented the Elf remorsely.

"Yes, the gods have been with us through this time of need," replied the Amazoness with a sigh and a prayer.

The Elf was about to comment about her term of "gods," but felt as if he should let her faze out of her slowed shock.

"My name is Traymor," said the Elf, trying to lighten her up.

"And I.., Luna."

"Someday, I will see to it that you have a savoir for your trouble," said the Elf hopefully.

"Maybe,... Maybe you can!" said Luna, with a thought kicking her in the back of her mind.

It gets even MORE interesting in the next chapter. I made an anime comic of this, and I wanted some opinions on this in book form, so R&R please. This is my first time typing it in this style too. Y
