Daydream

The Sun tells of the stories of light like a book;
The moon shows me, like a guide, where to look;
like a bard, the stars remind me of a time long ago;
The sky teaches routine, like a farmer to his sow;
The sea in a listener like those at a play;
The stone, he remembers what all the elves say;
The night brings out the children of the dark,
like the mountains look over the archers hitting their mark;
Dawn's light dances across the fields like a flame;
And the morning is a Daydream
thought up by a dame...
