Derek activated his next die roll, and this time, it landed on one. He smiled as Geno's Goblin was turned into a shishcabob. He passed to Geno, smirking.

"Think your so smart?" Geno said. "Well, your in trouble. You believe that you are facing my Rise of the marauder deck, but that is too far from the truth!"

"What are you jabbering about?" Derke demanded, staring straight at Geno from his chair.

"As you know, 7 of the contestants at Pegasus' first Tourny were the top duelists in the world. But...I wasn't."

Derek looked at him. "But....how did you get in then?"

"You see, all 7 of you had won a championship. But I never went, I didn't like the tournaments in my area. However, I loved building decks. Pegasus learned of my talents, and invited me, hoping I would build him an unstoppable deck. He never realized I would win."

Derek looked at Geno. "Get to the point, what does that have to do with this duel?"

"As I said, I build decks, many of them." Geno opened his coat,a nd Derek gasped. It was filled with deck boxes. "I have built over 20 tournoment winning decks, any of which I can use." Derek paled. "Meaning you have no idea what I have planned for you."

"No....that's not fair!" Derek shouted.

"Want to hear another interesting fact?" Geno asked. Derek just looked at him. "Many cards were created in small numbers: Only 4 Blue Eyes White Dragons, 1 Blitzkrieg Commander, 4 Marauding Captains....so on. But do you know of the 8 Dark Magicains?"

Derek rased an eyebrow. "Eight?"

Geno nodded as he drew. "1 is the purple haired Dark magician held by Yugi Moto. Then, there are the 3 Red Armor Dark magicians held by Arkana. And, of course, there area the 2 blonde haired Dark magicians held by Michelle Bridgemen. But you don't know of the last two, d you?"

Derek shook his head. "No, what are they?" He had gotten curious.

"When Pegasus first searched for Duel monsters, he found the ones in Egypt: Yugi's Dark Magicain, Blue Eyes White Dragon, so on. But then, he went to other lands. In Greek Temples, he found the images of me, which would become the basis for the Marauding Captain. In China, he found the scrolls telling of the Sasuke Samerai.

But then, he went into South Afica. There, he discovered images of the Egyptian Duel monsters, only...." Geno paused. "During the great war, they tried to discover how to summon these monsters. Many of them were poorly made, hardly more then stick figures, for the original trial tablets were destroyed when they tried to summon the monsters. But one such "Nubian Monster" remained intact. Pegasus created two cards based on this drawing, but it caused such a stir that they were recalled before being shipped. But when I beat Pegasus, I took many of his rare cards, including these two!"

Derek snickered. "Too bad you have only one monster on your side of the field, you can't summon it."

Geno nodded. "That would be true, if it weren't for one thing."

"And what is that?"

"This card: Activate Tribute Doll!" On the field, Geno's face down card flipped face up, reavealing Old Vindictive Magician. "This card will allow me to tribute one monster on the field to summon one Level 7 monster. So, I will use my older, weaker Magician, to summon my Dark Magician." As the Old Magician faded, Geno chuckled. "Also, my tributed mage get's his flip effect, draggin your Spirit Reaper into the grave!" Derek watched in horror as his zombie was destroyed. "Now, come forth my Dark magician!"

On the field, a dark mage symbol appeared, and the Dark magician appeared. But this one was completely different then anything Derek had seen. The Magician had dark, Nubian skin, his hair all shaved except one long braid that hung down at his shoulder. His armor was pure black, his staff made of ivory. "Now, Dark Magic attack!" The mage spun his staff and fired a black energy blast. The whole moster seemed to shine Brightly. Derek realized that this was an all holo card; an extremely rare type, a factory mistake. Kevin shifted to the back of the second Spear Dragon as the hunter fired a blast, right where his ehad would have been. He threw a card in the air, and watched as a Magic Cylinder fired the attack back.

He wasn't watching, and was slammed to the ground. His cards returned to his deck as he hit the ground. A hunter chuckled, and tghey surrounded him. Kevin jumped up and took up the stance, ready for whatever they would throw at him.

He was sent flying, and hit something hard. He groaned, and reached out, and felt a nob. "A door...." He twisted a handle, and found himself in a control studio. The hunters pounded on the door, and he braced it. "Well, if I am going to die, I better go out wih some decent tunes."
