Derek paused. "I almost forgot, my monster's effects. First, Donny Z
takes two cards from your deck to the graveyard." Geno frowned as he sent
a monster and a spell card into the graveyard. "Next, I will return your
Dark Magician back to your hand, thanks to Chick McGee. And now, thanks to
Cliffy, you lose two more cards to the Grave. Now, my girl, Meane, allows
me to get my Dark Scorpion Combination back. And finally, I will send one
more card to your graveyardthanks to the big guy here." Derek said,
pointing to Gorg. "Finally, to make sure you don't hurt me, I will set my
combination and activate Swords of Revealign Light." He smiled. "Face it
Geno, your through. I can keep doing this, till you lp is gone."
Geno nodded. "That is true....unless I can take you out!"
Derek snorted. "And how do you figure? I have you beat!" Derek sighed. "When Amanda told me that you were a powerful god, I thought you would, you know, put up a fight?"
"AndI will. First, I will summon Blindly Loyal Goblin. Next, I will take out your combo: Activate Dark Core!"
Derek paled. "No!" Geno slipped a monster inot the grave, and Don Zaloog shattered. Geno set one more card and he growled. "Your going to pay for that!" Derek drew, and Geno clicked his tongue as he moved to his main phase.
"Could have beaten me had you used you Needle Wall."
Derek paled. He had forgotten all about the trap! "I will pass to you, and activate it next turn"
Geno smiled. "One turn gone...." He drew, and chuckled. "The second piece of my puzzle. It won't be long now." He looked at Derek. "Your turn."
Derek sighed as he drew. "Nothing." He activated the Needle Wall, and it missed.
"2 turns gone, this is it folks." He looked at the scorpions. "Next turn, your done."
Derek drew and shifted all of the warriors to defense. The needles missed Geno's monster once more. "Do your worse."
Geno nodded. "I will. I summon Magical Scientist to the field!" Derek watched as the tech mage appeared. "Have you ever heard of this monster? You see, the mages long created the mage techs, who would make new magic infused beasts. And I will use this spellcaster to destroy you! First, I will sacrifice 1000 lp, allowing me to summon Flame Swordsman to the field for one turn!" (Geno-3000)
Derek laughed. "That is it? That is your final stroke?"
"Yes...a piece of it." Geno said. "I will now play Poylemersation, Combining Flame Swordsman and my Dark Magician to summon Dark Flare Knight!" The dark flame warrior appeared. "And now, I will play Double Curse! This card will reduce one card we each control to 1000 atk strength. I chose Dark Flare!"
"And I chose Chick. Do you worse, for you have screwed up! You believed I would be stupid to use that effect on Gorg, but I was smart enough to use it on a weaker monster, allowing me to destroy you with ease!"
Geno merely laughed. "You are the fool." As his knight attacked Gorg, it flashed, and Mirage Knight came to the field. "Now, one final card to take you down!"
"I am waiting." Derek said. "With my defense monsters, you can't touch me."
"Oh, but I can, with this card: Defense Piercer!"
"NO!" Derek screamed.
"Yes!" Geno said as the bow appeared in Mirage Knight's hands. "By reducing my Knight's attack to 1000, I get a Trample Effect."
Derek sank to his knees. "My revenge...."
"Attack!" The Knight multipled to 4, and attack each burgler. (Derek-0)
Derek looked at Geno, and let out a cry as his cave faded, and he began to fade too. "What is happening?"
Geno smiled, and pulled out a blank card, a test card. His eyes glowed, and upon his head the Eye of Anubus appeared. Derek knelt, for now Geno was stronger, more terrifying. "I very well can't allow Amanda to get a new fallen spiritto use against me, so I will deal with your soul myself."
Derek trembled as his clothing changed. He now wore an outfit similar to the Dark Scorpions, but there were minor differences. He screamed as a tribal tattoo, similar to a scorpion but not quite, was burnt into his arm.
"What is happening to me?" Derek cried out.
Geno smiled, vindictive, watching this evil man twist. He felt power....his godhood in reach....no, not now. He couldn't become that, yet. "When someone wants to, through a mage, they can seal a piece of themselves into a card, so that when they die, they can become that card. The Dark magician, Mahado, is one. The Maruadign Captain holds a piece of my soul, ready for me to join with him when I need to fight, to be whole. The Shadow Tamer is yet another..." He paused. "But there is another way to do it."
"A...another?" Derek asked as his body began to glow.
"A mage can forcefully seal a dark soul in a card, trap them, to punish them. Many demon cards are like this.....and you." Derek looked in shock as he began to appear more and more on the blank card. "I dub you 'Dark Scorpion Decoy.' For the rest of your days, you will be a trap card, o be destroyed instead of those Dark Scorpions you love. They will use you for the rest of your life.....too bad the rest of your life is forever."
Derek screamed, and then was gone. Geno picked up Derek's deck, and placed it in his coat neck to Marrow's old Zombie deck. His collection was growing, he now held many decks of his own, and 2 decks of dark souls.
Geno looked around the darkness, and spotted the Spell Jar, a weird name for it. IT wasn't really a jar, it was more of a vessel, a always changing container. His hand glowed, and he unsheathed his wings.
"One down." Behind him, 12 stars glowed, and he fired a blast, destroying the spell. He watched as the darkness began to fade, and the darkness became a classroom. He chuckled. "2 more to go."
Geno nodded. "That is true....unless I can take you out!"
Derek snorted. "And how do you figure? I have you beat!" Derek sighed. "When Amanda told me that you were a powerful god, I thought you would, you know, put up a fight?"
