Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha or any other characters in this story. Insert creative remark about what I own here. (Sorry I'm at a loss for witty comments at the moment.)

"Kagome," Inuyasha said while blocking her from her bike, "You can't do this, you can't leave us. We need you."

"Really," Kagome said in a hopefully.

"Of course, who else would find the sacred jewel shards for me?" Inuyasha said in a fed up voice.

"I know someone," Kagome said in a distraught voice, "Kikyo."

"Kikyo is..." Inuyasha tried to say something, but was interrupted by Kagome.

"SIT BOY," Kagome shouted, "I don't want to hear it Inuyasha, and I'm through talking to you right now." She finished speaking as she rode off on her bike towards the bone eaters well.

"Kikyo isn't as important to me as you are," Inuyasha finished in a hushed tone while getting up from the body shaped dent he had just made in the hard clay dirt. "Damn't," he said feeling the pain in his head from the impact. That's when he caught on to a sent in the woods off to the right. "Kikyo, how long have you been there?" he questioned with a little worry in his voice.

"Is she truly more important to you Inuyasha?" she said unemotionally. Inuyasha looked at her with a sad face. "Answer me Inuyasha," she stated angrily, as though saying his name would make him unable to deny her the truth.

"Yes, I'm sorry, but Kagome is the most important to me right now," he replied with sympathy.

"Well Inuyasha, if that's how you feel then I have no choice," she looked up and her soul collectors started flying her off.

"What are you up to Kikyo?" he asked. No reply came, but he new the answer, for she started heading towards the direction Kagome had gone. He was about to start chasing after her when he realized that something was coming. A demon.

"Hello Inuyasha," said a calm voice.

"Naraku," Inuyasha said with digust.
