Yami opened his eyes and rubbed his head. "Last time I let Gala convince
me to go dancing." He frowned. "I hope Yugi wasn't kept up by us.....but
knowing his granddad, we are in big trouble." He looked around, and saw a
high rock ceiling. "How hard did we party last night?"
"Get up Pharaoh."
Yami groaned, and sat up. "I'm getting up Kaiba, I am......wait....Pharaoh?" he looked over, and promptly got hit with the Millenium rod. He fell over and jumped up. He looked over at Seto, only to find her was dressed in priest robes. Yami looked down at himself, and saw he was dressed in Egyptian garb, that of a king. "Oh no."
Priest Seto circled him. "I have waited a long time for this."
"What are you talking about?" Yami asked. "Why am I here, dressed like this? Where is Gala?"
"Your little screw toy is being dealt with, as our the rest of your friends."
Yami's eyes grew wide. "Let them go now!"
Priest Seto laughed. "Please, do you honestly think I will let them go if you just say, 'Oh, let them go!' in a mean tone?" Seto chuckled. "You have become weak."
Yami frowned. "Enough talk Seto! Release e and my friends now!"
"What did I just say?" Priest Seto said. "You are only getting out of this one way." He pulled on the arm of a statue, and a door opened. "Come with me."
Yami frowned, but followed the priest as they went through catacombs of the ruins. Yami had the strangest feeling that this was not going to end well, that something bad was about to happen. Finally, he heard voices mummering.
"Wheere are we going Seto?"
"To the arena."
"I will set this card and summon Great Angus to the field!" The red Irish beast burst from the ground and roared, running around Eddie. "And by the way, his bite is worse then his bark."
"That is the oldest joke in the world." Michelle replied.
"maybe, but I am an old fassion type of guy. I will now play Heart of the Underdog." Suddenly, a great wind blew all around them, rattling their decks. "You will soon learn the effect of my card. But till then, I pass to you."
"I will set this monster in defense, and end my turn."
Eddie smiled. "Just like when we were kids, I attack, and you just cower. I will now summon a Harpie's Brother." The winged warrior flew down beside Eddie. "And now, time to say goodbye to your downface monster; ATTACK ANGUS!" The Red beast rushed Michele, only to bite into a troop Dragon. Eddie frowned, and attacked again with Harpie's Bro, leaving two monsters in the grave and one on the field.
"Well, like you, that was quick, and did nothing for me." Michelle said with a laugh. "I set thi card and this monster, and pass back to you."
Eddie frowned. He hated her downface cards.....well, there was one thing. "Well, it is time for the fun to begin. First, I will show you the power of Heart of the Underdog." He held out the card he had just drawn, Sea Serpent Warrior of Darkness. "By showing you this card, the winds of fate will blow in my favor." The winds whipped, and another card flew into his hand.
"Leave it to you to depend on fate, not skill."
Eddie shrugged. "The magic user telling me not to rely on mystical things....I would have never thought of it." He looked at his hand. "Now, watch as I eliminate you in one turn."
"This I have to see." Michelle said, rolling her eyes.
"And see you shall. First, I will summon my Warrior of Darkness." The Sea Serpent leapt out of the card onto the field.
"Where are the effect monsters? I would have thought you would have a slew of them"
Eddie began to laugh. "You still haven't figured out what my deck is, have you? Mine is a Normal Monster Deck. It is designed to use non-effect monsters and give the chance to destroy their effect brethren."
"Get up Pharaoh."
