The group had been wandering for almost an hour, trying to figure out where to go. They had hoped Geno would have destroyed the last jar, yet it was no luck; they were still in this creepy world.

Guy frowned. "Damnit, I hate our mom."

Michelle nodded. "Tell me about it. How did you manage to turn out close to normal?"

"Well, my mother tried to turn me against my father all the time, but my father was too good of a parent. I sided with him, and just dragged my mother down. She was nothing more then the woman that sat in the mansion and read."

Michelle frowned. "And I though my life was screwed up."

Guy nodded.

Tristan looked over at his friend and gave him a look. "Doc....any more crazy secrets you got hidden?"

Dr. Kevin shrugged. "I admit this is all very comic bookish, but it's my life, what can I say."

Serenity frowned. "So you're a vampire with a gem in his back."

Dr. Kevin shook his head. "My family was vampiric....none of the disease dwells in me. So, think of it like this: I am a man, a mortal man, whose parents were transformed into vampires and given up for adoption. I only found out about this when I joined the MIB."

Kevin Allen looked around in shock as the cloth around his eyes was pulled away. He was below ground, very deep, since the walls were reinforced 3 times. All around him, men and women in black suits buzzed around him, checking computers, watching TV screens and talking to people.

The people. If he had walked in here 2 months ago, he would have fainted. But now, due to the craziness of his life at late, he couldn't really act to surprised.

Well, he could.

In the air were ghosts. Real...dead....ghosts. And they were filing papers. To his left, he watched a creature of pure slime absorbed a cup of god- knows-what. In front of him, what could only be called a giant bird person chirped at a female worker, who brought the being a folder.

"You know, maybe that explosion destroyed my brain cells."

His captors didn't even crack a smile. Wonderful, they are the serious type. He sighed, and followed them up to an office that stood in the middle of the mayhem. It was round, allowing the owner to see everything that was going on.

"Greetings Mr. Allen" Kevin looked up to see at the top of the stairs that leading to the office stood a woman in a simple black pantsuit. He gave a nod and shook her hand, thanking god it didn't turn into a slimy tentacle or fall off to reveal that it was some alien monster.

"May I ask what the hell I am doing here?" he sat down and propped his feet on her desk. When she gave him a look, he merely smiled. He could warp out of here instantly.

"You can warp out, but if you do, my agents are instructed to use lethal force on you."

Well, there goes plan A. "So, what can I do for you Miss....."

"Noga." The woman replied. She pulled out a file and produced a photo. "This is the gem imbedded in your spine, correct?"

"That's it." Kevin said. "That's the one I was working on when it blow up and blow into me." He shrugged. "Pity. I had a theory it was some sort of planetary rock, possible from Pluto..."

"It wasn't." Miss Noga said calmly. "The stone that is in your back is infact a demonic summoning stone."

"A whatie what?"

"A demonic summoning stone. Demons use it to allow them to escape."

Kevin smiled. "You're joking with me, right?"

Ms. Noga leaned forward. "You can shift to anywhere you want, and you saw ghosts doing paper work...and that is hard to swallow?"

Kevin's smile faded. "Fine...but tell me, how can I use this thing then? I mean, I am human, not a demon."

"Actually...you are a demon."

Kevin glanced over as the guards left. "Something tells me this isn't going to end well."

Ms. Noga stood up. "What do you know about your family?"

"Well, not much. I mean, I know about my adopted family, and I know my last name is Allen, but that's it."

Ms. Noga frowned. "Then let me paint the picture for you. About 23 years ago, give or take, your mother, father, and uncle were in London, having a vacation and preparing for your birth. They were heading to the hospital...when they struck."

"Who?" Kevin asked. His feet were off the desk and he was listening carefully.

"A gang of vampires. They were hungry, and your family was the perfect snack. I mean, a pregnant woman and two men that looked like they couldn't fight a cold...what an easy take."

"But it wasn't."

"No, it wasn't. Your father and his brother were strong fighters back in the old country...." She paused. "Ready for irony? Your Romanian....Transylvanian if you will."

Kevin nodded. "So, they fight them back..." The pieces began to fall into place. "But the vamps bite them still...not enough to kill, but enough to infect them."

"Exactly. They realized what was happening after the gang was beaten back, and realized that they were doomed. But you weren't. Even though some of the infection was getting into you, if they removed you, you could survive." Ms. Noga sat back down. "You were born at Midnight in an alley in London. Your parents' final sight before they transformed was you."

"And then they left me at the orphanage."

Ms. Noga nodded. "They knew their life was not one for a baby. It broke their hearts, but they planned to find a cure, them come back and claim you."

"So that is why I can wield this gem stone....because am have traces of the vampire blood in my veins."

"Exactly."

Kevin gulped. He didn't want to believe, but it did make sense. "But....what happened to my family?"

The woman frowned, and turned to look out the window. "They had gone to Egypt, seeking the aid of mystics, when a group of gravekeepers, guardians of the Egyptian tombs...staked them."

Kevin looked down, trying to steady his breathing. "Why am I here?"

"We want to make a deal with you. The building you are in now is the MIB Paranormal division. We want you to work for us. We will finish your education, your doctrine; and we will help you find the people that killed your family. In return, you work for us. You will continue your life, but spy on some...mystical people."

Kevin looked at her. "I want to get one thing straight." He stood up and rolled his neck. "My first assignment is to go to London and murder the monsters that started this. Then...and only then, will I work for you."

Ms. Noga smiled. "Deal...we needed to clean that city out anyway. Vince?"

Kevin turned as what could be best classified as a werewolf walked in. The man gave him a sniff, then turned to Ms. Noga.

"Show Mr. Allen to his locker. Get him a suit, and get him to the guys in R&D. I want him to understand our weapons." Vince looked at her and nodded. "Oh, one more thing....do you know anything about duel monsters?"

Kevin turned. "Very little....I hear it's mostly a beatdown game made by Maximillion Pegasus."

"well, Pegasus got the designs for the monster cards from Egypt. One of the tombs he went to had the image of gravekeepers taking on 3 figures...."

Kevin stopped breathing as Ms. Noga produced three cards. He read the names slowly: Vampire Lord, Vampire Mistress, and Patrician of Darkness. He ran a finger over the images. "My dad...my mom...my uncle...aren't they?"

Ms. Noga smiled. "I suggest you learn to duel Mr. Allen, you'd be surprised how handy that might be.

"Someone is behind here."

Kevin jumped slightly as the real world flooded back to him. He sighed, his hand rest on his deck case, the other on his cane. He had learned, and had searched. And done little. Sure, he had killed every last vampire in London...but he had failed to find the temple where his parent's images were found. He had even gone to the tournament to beat Pegasus and get him to reveal the whereabouts...but Geno Roads had faced him in the final match....

"Are you sure?" Yami asked. Guy nodded, and the group readied themselves. "On three...."

"Screw that." Seto said, kicking the door down. HE walked inside and frowned. "Well, that is interesting."
