Geno looked around the darkened area. It was just empty darkness to the untrained eye, an endless waste of shadows and failing light. But Geno could feel it, a pressce...someone was here, waiting for him He frowned, and readied his dagger. "Come out, I know you are here. Enough of this game."
"Game?" A voice called out. "So silly if you believe this is a game....no, you are right, this is a game...a game for me. For you, this is a nightmare."
Geno chuckled. "Is that so?" he looked around. "I do not fear your idle threats, nor this shadow realm. Maye no one told you, but I grew up here...I can come and go as a please." His eyes began to glow a pale silver, as did his dagger. "I am the bringer of light, the lord of suns. Show yourself, being of shadow!" His sword burst forth with silver flame, and a circle of light grew around him, stabbing the darkness. It expanded, till the room was illuminated. "The Star King upon you!"
Looking around, Geno found himself upon a grand tower, made of tan stone and sand. The sky cleared, and turned blue, the sun close. Geno smiled grimly. "I'm home." He took his spot on the tower, for he had been here before. It was one of the duel towers of Onimod, the lost city of Eygpt, where he first come and began this damn adventure that had spanned the ages.It was in this spot that he had dueled the father of Pharaoh Atemu, and beat him with the help of Kaikou's mother, Shima. He looked over at the Rare Hunter that stood on the opposite tower. "Reveal yourself...Malik."
Yami Malik nodded, and removed his hood, his hair blowing in the lite breeze that had picked up. "I see you have destroyed our two other guardians."
"With ease." Geno commented with a grin.
"I would expect no less from the grand Geno Roads." He raised his duel disk. "Am I to assume you could care less of what I have to say?"
"Your smarter then we all thought." Geno opened his coat and removed a deck box, letting the cards fall into his waiting hand. "Battle City rules."
Yami Malik nodded. "I always wanted to face the legendary Rise of the Marauder deck."
"Sorry to disappoint..." Geno said, slipping the cards into his custom duel disk. "...but I am using my newest deck." He grinned a little. "Figure I would give it a trial run."
Yami Malik growled at Geno's flippant attitude. "How dare you doubt my powers!"
"How dare you assume my new deck can't hold it's own." The black duel disk split in two. "Make your move Malik! I have little time to stand around and listen to your rants about power and evil. No one cared at Battle City, and no one cares now. If I wanted to listen to a hack villain I would have gone and faced Dartz myself, instead of allowing him to surivie as long as he did. I have evil to stop and an ex-wife to kill. So do as you promised: save the damn speeches and draw your hand!"
Yami Malik glared at him. "That will be the last command you give, Geno. I summon Lekunga and set this card."
Geno watched as the strange bud appeared, it's spiked tendrils dangling around. "Wow, now that needs some weed killer. Luckily, I have something to keep it form spreading. I summon Zolga!" The mysterious fairy appeared, squeling and leing out high pitch screams.
Yami Malik frowned. 'What, playing Ishizu's deck?" he smiled slightly. "Someday, I will have to introduce you to my sister, and she will show you the correct why to use that card."
Geno shook his head and smiled right back. 'That is, if my friends haven't killed her first." He paused. "I mean, I am willing to beat you were stupid enough to allow her to fight here...only a matter of a time, if she isn't dead already."
Yami Malik stared him down. There was no way any of the foolish mortals could destroy Dark Ishizu....unless there was one that wasn't a true mortal. What had Amanda told him, about one from a line of immortal demons, a teacher at this college.....
Geno snapped his fingers. "Will you play, or do you get shaken by mere boasts? If so, then I will stop so woor widdle Walik won't wit scwared."
Yami Malik shook his head. "You and I are destined to battle Geno, and battle we shall. I set this card and summon Granadora!" The swollen, spiked reptile appeared, snapping at Geno. However, he didn't even react, he just waved it off, ignoring the beast. "This card not only has 1900 atk, but it also gives me an extra 1000 lp. Nice, ain't it?" Yami Malik smiled as the reptile attacked Zolga, swallowing it in one bite. The plant monster then attacked Geno directly, striking him with a spiked bud.
"Wonderful." Geno said as his face healed of the cuts. "Nothin' like having a your monster bitch slap an enemy to show off how strong you are." Yami Malik growls as Geno brushed a few reaming thorns from his cheek (Geno-2100, Malik-5000)
Geno simply se a monster, and ended his turn. Yami Malik smiled, his face distorting for a moment. "Poor Geno, deck failing you already?"
"Poor Yami Malik, getting cocky already?"
Yami Malik stared him down. "All your insults will mean nothing when I am through with you. Once you are in the darkness, you'll only have that poor little wit of yours to save your mind for losing it's sanity! Attack Granadora!" The reptile let out a strange croak and leapt, only to be send flying back at Yami Malik, taking down his lp. "What?"
Geno smiled as his strange fiend appeared. It was a giant Red and Yellow monster, a goblin on it's back. "My D.D. Trainer has taught your Granadora a good lesson. Now, I will teach you one: shut up and don't brag till your attack is done."
"Do your worst." (Malik-4900)
"First, I will summon D.D. Scout Plane." A vortex appeared behind Geno, and a strange orb flew out, it's two long arms scanning the monsters all around, chattering and clicking. "Next, I will activate Different Dimension Gate."
Malik watched as the Scout fired a needle connected to a long metal line that wrapped around Granadora. Behind Geno there appeared a massive building, a circle of metal framed upon it. The scout let out a chirp, and the gate activated, sucking itself and Granadora into it.
"Next, I will activate Ekibyo Drakmord." The plant shuddered as purple spots lined its skin. "My mysterious virus will kill your plant in two turns. I end my turn."
But as he said this, a vortex appeared, and Scout Plane flew out, chirping. Yami Malik growled. "But how? Both monsters were sucked in!"
"But my D.D. Scout Plane is designed with it's own DD Warp bomb. It allows it to enter our world with ease. Sadly, now that its left, your Granadora is stuck in their dimension."
Yami Malik frowned. "You merely have prolonged your end. First, I play Reckless Greed, allowing me to draw two more cards. However, my deck is now out of my reach for two turns." Yami Malik drew, and then smiled as his deck faded away. "Next, I will set these two cards, and then summon Dark Jeriod." The twisted demon appeared, firing two needles into the Scout Plane. It fell to the ground, it's attack reduced to nothing. "Oh, too bad. Attack!" (Geno-900)
Geno drew. "It would appear that I am done. However, I have some tricks up my sleeve. I will now use Monster Reborn to bring back D.D. Scout Plane. And next, I will activate another Different Dimension Gate!"
Yami Malik watched as once again, a monster was taken. Only this time, it was his Dark Jeriod. "Still, that does little to save you."
"true. So, I will summon another Dimensional traveler, a drifted named Neo, the Magical Swordsman!" A slash appeared, and from it came Neo. He charged his sword, ready. "And end my turn." The scout plane returned, and once again, the gate was shut down.
Yami Malik looked at his hand. "I summon Bowgunian" The plant screamed as the machine appeared, and shattered. Geno's card returned to his hand. Come on, attack me you fool.
