"When you woke up this morning, did you think you'd be here by 3 pm?" Amanda finally asked.
Geno chuckled. "No. I thought I would have killed you already."
"And you say we have nothing in common." Amanda said, taking in a breath and regretting it as the wind leaked out of the hole in her breast, causing her to moan.
Agile sighed. "See, this is why is sucks to be angelic. We should all be dead, but no! We can take ten times more pain then a mortal person."
"Correction: we can take punishment. The pain is the same be you mortal or angelic." Amanda said quietly.
Geno tried to tighten his grip on his sword, only to have to let go. It felt like his stomach was on fire. "So, what shall we do before we kill each other again?"
Agile blinked his eyes. "That cloud is shaped like a duck."
Geno frowned. "No it's not, it's a bunny."
Amanda sighed. "No, two clouds over, next to the one tat looks like elephant."
"Ah, I see it now."
They laid there, quietly watching the clouds for the longest time, till Geno finally spoke up. "Why kill us?"
Amanda shrugged. "Why not?"
"Seems like an empty life, to kill for people."
Amanda looked at him. "And your saying your life is full?"
Geno closed his eyes. "You sunk my battle ship."
"King me."
"Diagonally, very tricky sis."
All three chuckled, to weak to fight. Agile bit his lip. "Do you regret killing my wife?"
"No." Amanda paused. "I didn't like it either. Most killings I like...that one, I didn't. Not that it made me feel bad...I just didn't like it."
"You know what sucks about this?" Geno said.
"The fact that if it weren't for the fact that we were right now bleeding on a rooftop, waiting for our bodies to heal us, we wouldn't ever have had thi conversation, one without malice or hate, just three comdemed souls, weapons to the gods?"
"Or the fact that we are doing all this for some grand scheme that no one was willing to clue us in on?" Agile tacted on to Amanda's comment.
Geno frowned. "I was going to say the bugs that are right now crawling into my wounds, but your's sound better."
Amanda sighed. "You and your humor." She thoguth for a moment. "Why do you fight?"
Geno bit his lip. "So my son and daughter....our child and my daughter, don't have to."
Agile looked over. "I was going to say revenge, but yours sounds better."
Geno smiled. "I guess....I guess I long accepted that I was going to end up alone in this world. Kaikou pretends to be there...but I know she hates me. I see it in her eyes. It's this sad pity, this "Why did you have to be the one who popped my mother. It couldn't have been some peasent....it had to be you, the guy that by merely sharing your cells screwed my life up." And Guy..." Gneo looked at Amanda. "You screwed him up so bad, and I couldn't help him. Raia....Raia is the one that is helping him."
"What do you mean, what is wrong with Guy?" Amanda asked. "Other then being on your side?"
"He's bipolar Amanda. Your mental toture has made him bipolar." She closed her eyes and didn't say a word. "And let's face it, Agile...Agile has people that depend on him. What am I? I am a man that should have given up his sword a long time ago, but doesn't." Geno let out a long breath. None of them had healed yet. Physically, that was. Mentally, It felt nice to finally say all of this.
