Amanda glared at him and spit out some glowing blood. "Such a big man, beating a woman with no weapon. Funny, I would think such a powerful one as yourself wouldn't be so unfair."

Chaos Hunter chuckled, and with a flick of his wrist, sent his scythe ino Dr. kevin's hands, knowing he'd be able to handle the dark powers inside of the weapon. Hunter rose into the air and looked at Amanda.

"It is time to rid myself of the last link to the old life!" With that, he threw back his cloak to form a cape, his right hand glowing. "Mwhaaaaa!" He paused and looked a the group. "To much? I think so....oh, never mind" With that, his hand released a yellow orb of energy, the power spiraling at Amanda's head.

She chanted as her left arm glowed, the counter spell taking hold, allowing her to bat the energy back at him. Hunter shrugged, and sent it at her once more, and so began their volley. Back and forth, each would send the ball of energy. The air filled with the crackle of energy of the deadly ball of light began to slam against each immortal at speeds that were quickly becoming ungodly.

"Looks like Amanda is holding her own." Mai said.

"No...Chaos is toying with ehre." Seto said, watching the dark half of his friend fire another volley. "Look at the way he bounces it back, it's half-hearted. And watch how much its hurting her to do it. He's making her tired, so he can set up a killing blow."

Seto turned out to be right real quick. Chaos finaly yawned, and with a flick of the wrist, the sky darkened. He winked, and lightning sturck her down, causing her body to sake violently as he focused on the last attack. Amanda screamed in agony as the energy contiuhed to drvie into her. HE released pure energy from his eyes, and it crashed into her chest, crushing all of her ribs. He began to chant, and the earth flew into the air, only to fall, crushing her wings.

And then it happened.

He simply rose, eyes closed, and all around him, every bit of hate, anger, violence...all the negatives of beings aorudn him, began to pump into his body like he was osme kind of battery for evil. He chuckled, and then, released the wave directly at Amanda. She tried to move, to run, but couldn't. She could only watch as time stood still and the blast inched towards her.

It hit her full force, colasping her lungs, shattering the bones in her chest, rocketing her backwads. She crashed into the stair well, shattering the bricks. Her wings were reduced to bloody, twisted pieces of feather covered bone. She had lost all feeling below her waist, and around her feet glowing rainbow colored blood spread out, staing the ground. She tried not to cry, not to scream, but looking down, only to find her chest scarred and burnt like a piece of charcoal caused such ideas to fade as she screamed like a wounded animal into the darkened skys of Domino, a scream the caused everyone but Chaos Hunter to shudder.

Amanda fell on her knees, watching the man that had once loved her now becoming the one thing that she feared. Chaos leaned down and patted her head as she begged him to spar her life. He looked at her hair, which was matted with the blood and feathers from her wings, and moved so close that he could feel her body trembling.

"You sicken me. You are so big and bad kidnapping people and killing my brother, but this is what makes you cry? A few energy blasts? Please." He looked at her and stood up, walking towards the group. " Leave, and never come back."

Chaos Hunter smiled. He hadn't killed her, and that was punishment enough. A warrior like Amanda...her life had been about the kill, the fight. Chaos Hunter had stolen that, making her weak, a broken woman. He had teaken her old life, and left her with nothing.

Bang.

Chaos Hunter whipped around to see Amanda looking at him, and numbly touch her chest, the blood leaking out of her heart, which was now exposed. His eyes followed the line back up to the man staring her down, his gun aimed at her.

"He won't kill you..." Guy said, firing another bullet into her lung, approaching her. "...but I will."

He rose in the air, and with a thought, pulled Gala with him, leaving Kaikou to stay with Raia. Gala struggled to free herself from her brother's mental grip, but couldn't. But part of her wanted this...wanted to see what Guy was planning, so she slowed her struggles. Something in her body drew her to her mouth, an empty spot that screamed "She has what's yours!"

Guy paused, and motioned for Gala to touch their mother's head. She did so slowly, wondering what Guy was going to do. He chuckled as he looked a ther scared eyes.. "During our lives, you continually said hwo you were ashamed of us, for we were merely inferior humans. But we both know why that is....and I am going to make your worst fear true, mother....I'm going to make you one of US."

Amanda watched, and then felt it: Guy and Gala stealing her godhood, splitting it amoung themselves. Her wings faded, ad she screamed as the wounds Chaos Hunter had given her now burned fiercer then anything she had ever felt. She cried, screamed, wish to block it out...but it wouldn't fade. Guy and Gala turned, and Amanda frowned. All these years, she had no idea how to live as a mortal....her stomach growled, and she realized that she had to eat now, she needed to breath, to....she shuddered as the winds picked up, chilling her.

Maybe they will pity me and take me in. She thought silently. I just need to wait.... She smiled slightly as Guy turned. Maybe his damn human emotions got to him.

"And mother..." Guy lowered his gun to her head. "I never said how long you'd be like that.."

"Guy don't...." Amanda said softly.

Guy frowned. "You gave my sister up for adoption, tried to kill me when I was an infant, and destroyed my father's soul...and expect me to show you pity? This is my pity." The gun cocked. "Goodbye mother."

Gala closed her eyes as the gun fired, and Amanda fell to the earth, dead. Guy stared at her body, and then fired another shot into the corpse, then another, and another.

"GUY!" Gala shouted, pulling the gun from his hand. Guy trembled, and began o kcik her, hit her. Raia and Kaikou ran up and pulled him away as he broke down in tears; the woman that had destroyed his life was gone, and even though he appeared mad, he fianlyl felt free.
