And then it hit him. He screamed, as did Gala, as their backs seemed to swell. Everyone gasped as their shirts (and skin for that matter) began to balloon. The marks on their backs, same as Geno's two silver scars, glowed, and finally released energy as wings burst forth. Yami and Raia ran forth and picked them up as each knelt down, looking at their hands.
"Gala?" Yami asked quietly. "Are you ok?"
Raia shook Guy. "Please say something!"
Guy looked up, and Raia gasped as his eyes glowed, but alos sparkled. She could see the same in Gala's for a moment.
"Wow."
"And on that note..." Chaos Hunter focused, and suddenly his clothing faded to silver, as Geno returned. His glowin silver eyes blinked as he looked around. "Is everyone ok?"
"Ya..." Seto began. "...except Amanda is dead, Joey's arm is nearly broken, o, and your two youngest children are now angelics."
Geno sighed and picked up the millennium items. He summoned forth sheaths for each for them, and then set about stretching. "IT's over now. Domino is free, and we have to deal with what happened her."
Everyone nodded, and turned to head out.
"IT's not over yet Geno."
Yugi looked at Tea. "Please tell me you said that."
Tea shook her head, even as Mokuba cried out. Everyone turned, and their jaws nearly hit the ground at the sight that greeted them. They all felt it, power.
From the sky, the clouds parted, and an angelic woman descended, a choir of angels singing from all around them. Her many wings were extended, her hands raised above her head. She smiled as she landed, and adjusted her angelic robes. Kaikou though back to Wingweaver or Guardian Saint Joan. Yugi and Yami remembered Ishizu's outfits.
"Did you believe that you could kill the head assassin of Destiny and not have me come?"
As she neared them, everyone trembled and fell to their knees, feeling ashamed of their own lowliness around this woman, this angel, this....
"Goddess." She said quietly, answering all their thoughts. "And I have come to see how this one has done." She turned to Geno, who was the only one not bowing. Most of them believed it was due to his now higher status to them, yet there was another reason, one they couldn't see but feel.
Contempt for the woman before him. They could feel they emotions in his body: better die on his feet then live on his knees.
"So, tell me Geno, what have you to say to the goddess who has come down to congratulate you on your win?"
Everyone waited on baited breath, till Geno began to chuckle. "I may appear to see nothing past my nose, but I know more then you can image." He turned to walk away, but then looked back at her. "Oh, I almost forgot."
The goddess smiled. "Yes?"
They all watched as Geno twisted and decked her hard, his fist glowing, sending her crashing to the roofs edge. She frowned, and rose in the air, glaring down at him. Geno's own wings extended as he took a battle stance.
"Hello mother."
