Everyone turned to see him leaning against the wall of the planetarium. He was Kaos' duplicate, except the colors were in negative: Everything was black. Except...the black wasn't the kind you normally saw. Most of the time, you would see an inky black or a reflective black. But this one seemed to be an absorbing color, sucking in all the light around him. It made it appear as if he were shrouded in a shadow. He opened his eyes, the black glow sending chills down even Yami and Seto's spines.
"I always knew you were weak Isis....I should have killed you as soon as I learned you were pregnant. Ah, but I was always sentimental."
Isis glared at the intruder. "Hello Destiny."
"Hello?" He smiled and placed his hand to his forehead. "I can't believe that tone! I give you the world and you sit there and don't say thank you?" He clicked his tongue. "I think I will move time backwards, undo our son curing you." The blast headed at her, but Kaos blocked it with ease with his hand.
"Not today dad....you and me have a prophecy to complete."
Destiny sighed. "You think you can beat me? I was doing this before you were born...this will be a walk in the park."
Kaos' sword flew to his hand. "Neph, watch my mother."
Isis grabbed her son's leg. "Please be careful."
Mai frowned. 'She was just kicking his ass, and now she wants him to be safe?"
Destiny looked at Mai. "I find it ironic too. I think I will correct this matter." He looked at Kaos. "Nothing personal." With that, he released a blast of energy send Kaos off the building. "They don't build gods like they use to."
He walked up to Isis, only to have Nephthys block him. He tilted his head to the side, amused by this show of bravery. Neph knew he could erase her with ease, yet her she was, protecting a woman she had fought for all these years...because his now dead son had asked her?
Before she could say a word, he grabbed her by the throat and lifted her off the ground. "You need to learn to pick your times."
"Let her go!"
Destiny turned as Kaos floated back onto the roof. He held out a his hand, a charge forming. Destiny narrowed his eyes. Kaos snarled right back. "Let her go you filth."
Destiny let Neph drop to the pavement and walked towards his son, his hand going for his sword. "Lke it matters. I will kill her when I am done with you...or maybe I'll just turn her into my new queen."
Kaos drew his sword. "You will not touch her again, so let us finish it!"
Destiny nodded and drew his weapon. "Let the game begin."
Everyone had moved out of the way, giving father and son the room to fight. Guy slowly clicked the safety of his guns, only for Isis to stop him. "Don't....this is a fight he must win alone." Guy nodded, and returned his weapons to his holsters, and squeezed Raia, half to keep his hands busy, ahlf to keep her from running out to save his father.
The two gods circled each other slowly, watching the other to see if a weakness, a flaw could be found. Both quickly realized that there was none: Both were flawless swordsmen. This would not be won by a mistake; this would be won by pure skill. Destiny twirled his sword, while Kaos kept his in a samurai hold.
And then it happened. Destiny lunged forward, and Kaos countered. Everyone shielded their eyes as sparks erupted from the blades. Destiny twisted the blade and went in for another swing, only for Kaos to match it, and another explosion occurred.
Yami gulped. "How...how is this possible?"
Isis frowned. "What you saw me throw at you....that was the tip of the iceberg. We gods have so much power that if we chose to, we could easily destroy the world. Even during the hardest battles, we try to check ourselves....but in this fight, neither of those two can afford to hold back."
Dr. Kevin slipped his sunglasses on. "Then I suggest we move children." Everyone looked at him. "I have seen Geno fight....and I don't want to see how Kaos uses the sword. Now, let's take on last look..." He turned to watch as Destiny blocked one of Kaos' overhead slashes, causing the roof to quake. "And....now let's get out of here."
Nephthys nodded, rubbing the burns from Destiny's throttle, and helping Isis stand, motioned for everyone to follow as Dr. Kevin got everyone he could int eh elevator, shifting those who didn't fit to the ground.
