Destiny crashed into a skyscraper, only to find his son at his throat, pounding him deeper into the metalwork. Kaos' face was calm, unchanged. In Destiny's mind, the words Nephthys had spoken in Domino reached him:

What Kaos wants, Kaos gets.

And Destiny realized that what Kaos wanted right now was him, dead. And nothing would prevent him from doing so. Destiny suddenly saw to his horror that his son had finally surpassed him, and truly was the strongest god that ever lived.

He only had one card to play, one thing to save himself.

All of this played through his mind as Kaos pounded him, kicking him, driving his fists into his father's flesh and bone. Each hit was giving him new strength, each drop of blood feeding the hunger he had to see the elder god die.

Destiny looked at Kaos and sneered. "If you kill me, Destiny dies!"

Kaos paused. "Have I hit you to hard dad? You are Destiny!"

The elder god laughed through broken teeth and bloody gums. "That is what many believe. But let me paint you a picture: Destiny, long ago, is in a battle with the demon king. The king knows he can't win, so decides to die...but not before taking out Destiny. He slashes him, and infects him with fiends blood...."

Kaos paled. "Like Chaos Hunter..."

Destiny smiled. "Yes. Destiny was infected with demon blood, and the result is me. His dark half. An innocent warrior lays trapped in my mind, and if you kill me, your true father dies."

Kaos looked at his creature, and knew all it said to be true. "I could cure him...as I did my mother."

"Try to." The being once called Destiny said with a smile. "It would be like trying to purge your dark half: Both will die. And still, it doesn't matter. As we speak, armies of demons await the moment to strike this earth. The golden age of Kaos will be a red age, of death and blood! But...." Destiny smiled. "Were you and I to join...we could defeat the demons and rule the Realms of Shadow and Light as well as the earth!"

Kaos frowned. "Then I guess I will not kill you." Destiny smiled. "I will merely send you to a place where I can hold till I can kill you and save my father!"

Kaos stomped his foot, and a fissure formed, down below, what best could be described as Hell loomed. Fire rose, sounds demonic screams and cries echoed, and shadows rapidly moved about. "Your new home awaits!"

With that, he gave Destiny a toss, and sent him plummeting into the abyss. He hen sealed it, and said quietly. "I will see you again."

Kaos turned, and watched as the citizens of Flint looked at him. He smiled, and with powers, cured the city of all damage.

"We won't tell." Kaos turned and looked at young man...a college student, he thought. "We will never tell anyone what we saw."

Kaos smiled. "No...tell all you want. Let the world know what you saw. May the name Kaos be on the tips of every tongue, for soon, very soon, that name will be called, and a new war shall be fought." He paused, and closed his eyes. "But for now, I have a promise to fulfill."

And with that, he flew back to Domino.

Joey turned to Tristan. "I bet its money."

Tristan frowned. "It's going to be a weapon."

It had been 30 minutes since Kaos had returned. He had briefly told them what had happened, including what he had learned from his father. Neph and Isis wanted to know more, but Kaos had demanded he head Las Vegas. A few chants, and the group of them had found themselves in Bandit Keith's apartment. After another 10 minutes of explaining, Kaos had gone to fullfil his promise to Agile.

They didn't know what the promise was, all Kaos would say was Agile and Amy had asked him to protect something. Now, all of them wondered what was so important.

"Maybe it's a card?" Yugi said.

Seto shook his head. "I bet it's the plans to duelmonsterrealms. Agile would want Geno...Kaos..." Seto frowned. "Whatever he is calling himself now, to take it over."

Bandit Keith shook his head. "You have no idea how wrong you are."

Before anyone could answer, Kaos stepped out, and each and every one of them grew silent. The looked at what he was holding, and felt horror and sadness mix in their souls.

Raia gulped. "Oh my god."

In Kaos' hands, he held a baby, only 4 months old. The little boy was wrapped in a blue blanket, fast asleep. Kaos looked at the child, tears in his eyes.

Tea looked at Kaos. "Is he...did Agile and Amy have..."

Kaos nodded, and slowly walked to the door, his nephew in his arms. Everyone moved to make way, and Mai bumped a table. A picture of Agile and Amy, which must have been take only a year ago, tottered and fell.

The child opened his eyes, and let out a soft cry. Kaos closed his eyes shut and opened the door, headed downstairs.

They thought he whispered a soft "I'm sorry." To his nephew. The others didn't follow, nor did they ask where he was going. But they knew they would never see the baby again.

Kaos stood outside of Vegas, the child cradled in his arms. He looked at Shadi. "Can you find him a good home?"

Shadi nodded. "I promise you, the son of Agile and Amy Krieg will be loved. But..why do you not keep him?"

"My father is out there still, as are demons that now will hunt out my family. As long as he is known to be a child of my house, he will be in danger. I do not want him to grow up in a world of pain and death. I want him to live in a world of love." He handed his nephew to Shadi. "I know you have the ability to travel through time itself. I ask you, travel till you find a time where all is at peace, my father defeated and the demons erased. Find parents, and give them the child."

Shadi nodded, and with that, was gone.

Kaos turned to see the rest of his friends, standing there, watching him. He gave a said smile, and walked over to Neph. "Hi."

She chuckled. "How long has it been since we were last together?"

Kaos thought. "5000 years...in that orchard in Greece." He grinned, and Neph blushed. He leaned in close. "Let's ditch the mortals and get back to basics."

Nephthys, the powerful, proud, elegant goddess....had her heart leap into her throat. She moved closed and kissed him. 5000 years ago, they had hidden, or tried to hide, their relationship. But now, there was no need. Or, even if there was, they no longer cared. It was a kiss 5000 years in the making, and nothing was going to ruin it.

"ahem."

Kaos groaned, as did Neph. In his mind, Kaos was ready kill whoever it was who interrupted them. They turned, and Kaos erased that thought.

Joey frowned. "Who the hell is that?"

Standing there was a young man. He was the same height as Kaos and Neph, dressed in all black. He had long black hair and dark eyes, countering his pale skin.

Nephthys sighed. "Hello Hades."

"Ha Des?" Joey asked. Kaos gave him a look, and he promptly shut up.

"His name is Hades, the god of the dead." He walked over to Hades, and knelt on one knee. "What can I do for you my lord? Another god need a-killin'?"

Hades chuckled. "Kaos, get up." Kaos stood, dusting himself off, and the god cleared his throat. "I have come for one reason."

"Which is?"

"To inform you of a change in heavenly rules." Kaos tilted his head, and then looked around as they were surrounded by every god and goddess there was. He looked back at his friends, who shocked to see some many powerful angelics in one area. "Kaos...from now on, you bow to no one."

And with that, every god and goddess knelt before him. He looked across the desert, shocked, and then heard the call from Hades.

"To the king!"

His was meet by a chorus of voice shouting "KAOS!".

And in that moment, Kappa Neo, The Marauder, Geno Roads, Kaos.....whatever you called him....smiled.
