Swinging Doors;
Beneath the Wheeping Willow
The sky was a dark blue, speckled with grey clouds that moved threatening over her. The sun was gone and the wind blew cold from the
direction of the forbidden forest. Things were so calm, so eerie....Nothing to do but stare at the sky. It was sort of strange because it was already
October, and it was suppose to be getting colder, but no. She sat underneath a wheeping willow on the shore of the lake.
Hermione looked down at her strange looking shadow. It seemed bumpy and not like her figure at all. That's when someone tapped her
shoulder. She turned to see the smile she craved to see. Ron's loving gaze was at her, playing along with some kind of fairytale she desperately
wanted to be in. The one where Ron came to save her upon a shimmering, white stallion.
"Hey,whatcha doing out here by yourself?"he took a seat next to her, acomidating himself between the lifted roots of the great tree.
"I was thinking about stuff,"she responded, but with her gaze upon the lake. Hermione felt his stare glazing her like a chocolate eclair.
She loved that feeling of being stared at by him...though she tried her best to pretend as if she hadn't noticed.
Ron smiled, this was so like "Mione. Thinking about things under a tree, while the skies were threatening to rain, and when her curls blew
across her face , he felt like touching the adorable springs. This girl was unpredictable, and loved her.
"Thinking about what?,"he asked then said dramatically,"About moi ?"
This made Hermione giggle, when she was really thinking about him, he never suspected a thing. His soft chuckles warmed her up
from the inside.
"Yeah, about you,"she told remarkably to his face, making his laugh fade away. He smiled at her lopsided.
Just then, the sky let out a loud rumble, and the rain began to fall. The two friends gasped as lightning swished across the dark sky.
Ron looked at Hermione's bare arms, and immediately took off his sweater and placed it around her shoulders. Her eyes fell to his face,
freckled and skin so smooth that it looked almost unreal. The inches between the two was noticed only when the girl's hand came out
from under the sweater to touch the reddened cheeks. The warmth under her cold fingertips glowed, and she imagined those freckles
scattering. She wanted to kiss every one of those little freckles. Her fingers trailed from his cheeks down to his full , inviting lips.
Her thumb grazed over it and she saw his eyes close with pleasure...as if trying to enjoy every moment of her fingers upon him.
Ron had just noticed her arm hung around his shoulder, and the cold rain that wet him was unnoticable. He had his eyes closed
because he knew that he should enjoy the moment for as long as he could, but suddently , his eyes were his last thought.
This was so because Hermione's warm lips had come in full contact with his. She hung over him, pressing him to her as she
kissed him to the fullest. Her kisses weren't rough, but they were not gentle either. He wasn't really in the mood to think at that
moment , all he could do was to kiss her back.
