A/N: This is not you're run of the day H/M story. Nooo, the stories of Hawkeye and Margaret meeting after the war in the same fashion (ex. BJ sets them back up or the same with Colonel Potter, or one of the "Oh, I was in town, so...".Or there's a window/divorce with 3 million kids. Unless it's creative. I like creativeness)

So, even if my story starts like one of those, it's not. I don't know if anyone has thought of the idea I have.

Oh....if it seems like I am a picky reader, I am in way. I just start to get bored with the normal thing.

Disclaimer: MASH does not belong to me. I belongs to umm, Hallmark or 20th century Fox. I don't know any more. Being close to being a 15-year-old is taking a toll on my mind. But I promise to put the toys back when I'm done.

Well, now on to the prologue. The note won't be this long and will be at the end, and I will post any questions of yours when you review. Please review!

Margaret was not sure of her decision. In fact, she was afraid. She now had two infant children. Only 5 days old.

She shuddered as she thought of the fate of them. A boy and a girl. She knew that when she and Hawkeye had seen each other last, they had gotten intimate. It was nine months ago. She could still remember that night. A party, in which she at admitted she had too much to drink, and so did Hawkeye. They had too much to drink, and to little time to talk. They had expressed them selves with a passion. Margaret wished she could live in that scene for the rest of her life.

But now, she had two small children not even old enough to do anything but eat and sleep. So small, so precious, words could not express how she thought. She knew what she had to do.

One baby was going to be hers and the other for Hawkeye. One would be enough for her at this time. Someday, she would go back for the other one later. If he wanted to give him up.

She would keep the girl and give the boy up

It was a rather rainy evening in Crabapple Cove when Margaret got there. She checked in to the Inn, quietly, hoping no one would notice her. They did but tired look on her face, and twins showed how she wanted to go to her room.

She had written a small note to Hawkeye. It simple said:

Hawkeye,

This is your son. His birthday is 9/19/54. He is very sweet, and needs you. Please take care of him.

She did not sign her name. She did not want deal with him now.

She walked down to the lobby and gave the baby to a nice looking old lady.

"Can you please give this baby to Hawkeye, please?"

She never turned back
