Max saw Liz quickly walked back into the back room, Max was guessing to make sure he didn't see her fearful eyes.

"Uh, guy's I'll be right back." Max answered, not bothering to look at them as he slide out of the booth and ran into the back.

"Max?" Isabel scolded as he left then shook her head.

Max pushed the door open to see Maria and Liz talking, both jumping at the sound of the door opening.

"Max, WHAT is going on?" Maria demanded taking charge, pushing Liz out of her way.

"It's not what it looks like." Max lied sighing.

"Hu, yea." Maria answered sarcastically.

"Fine, it's exactly what it sounds like, does that make you feel any better?" Max asked.

"No." Maria answered pouting.

"My point." Max replied.

"Max, Max, please tell me that is a skin left from that last time they were here or something." Liz begged clutching his bicep.

"It woulda disintegrated already Liz." Max answered quietly.

"Ok, yes I knew that, I was just wishing I would be wrong. SO what are we gonna do? I mean they know our faces Max, they can get us anytime and place." Liz answered in fear her eyes trembling.

"You think he doesn't know that?" A tough voice replied, all heads and eyes turned to the same door Max entered through, seeing Isabel and Michael.

"Who brought you into this conversation?" Maria asked crossing her arms.

"Uh, sorry Mrs. Bossy BUT THIS IS KINDA ABOUT US!" Michael shouted.

Maria looked to the side in defeat.

"Max, we have to do something about these skins or else they'll keep coming back and we can't let them keep coming to earth, they could blow your cover, they could kill one of us or they could kill one of you. Or take you back to Kivar." Liz replied.

Max eyed her.

"How do you know about Kivar?" Max asked.

Liz looked away.

"Well, excuse us for not knowing how to get rid of them." Isabel said in disgust, but not meaning to be mean she was just real upset.

"No, No I didn't mean it like that Isabel. I'm sorry." Liz replied not wanting to start fighting at a time like this.

"No, it's not you Liz, I'm just stressed out and really, really scared, Nicholas creeps me out." Isabel replied apologetically as she walked over and sat on the couch.

"It's ok, no hard feelings I would be terrified if I were in your shoes too Isabel." Liz acknowledged.

"I think we're all scared." Max corrected.

"Ok, so what are we gonna do Maxwell?" Michael asked rubbing his forehead and looking over at him.

Max groaned, he hated that question and despised those words. Max took turns looking at each of them.

"I'm not sure." He mumbled as he took a seat next to Isabel.

Michael groaned in anger then hit the wall with his palm causing everyone to jump.

"I HATE it when you say that. Every time, it's 'I'm not sure." Michael mocked.

"Ok, Michael, YOU try having all these people throwing questions at you just because they know your some king of your original planet. These are hard decisions Michael, decisions that could help us or get us captured or killed, I can't just say something spontaneously cause if I do it could come back later and ruin us." Max replied.

"Max is right Michael, lay off, this isn't easy and Max shouldn't be the only one trying to think of a plan." Isabel replied standing up for her brother.

"It's not that big or a hard decision ok, leave Roswell." Michael suggested.

Max whipped his head over to him.

"What?" He asked softly.

"What?" Isabel snapped more demanding.

"WHAT?" Liz and Maria replied as well, Liz more disappointed and Maria more in a scream.

"Easy as that." Michael added, standing by his decision.

"Run from them?" Isabel asked making it sound ridiculous.

"What? Any of you have a better plan?" Michael shot at them.

"If we run they'll just chase us." Max answered rubbing his eyebrows in frustration.

"So it'll take a hell of a long time for them to find us. This world is a big place." Michael pointed out.

"I don't want to be hunted for the rest of my life Michael." Isabel said.

"No, you two are just hesitant cause you don't wanna leave your sugar coated family!" Michael shouted pointing at them accusingly.

Isabel glared at him as Max tried to avoid his friend's eyes.

"Your right Michael, I DON'T want to leave them and do you want to know WHY, it's because they are the only thing that makes me feel NORMAL IN MY MIXED UP ALIEN STUFF I HAVE TO DEAL WITH! They might not be our real parents Michael, but I love them anyway." Isabel screamed, getting in his face.

"You need to learn to be a better friend, IF WE STAY HERE WE'RE GONNA GET KILLED!" Michael shouted back matching her tone.

"NO You need to learn a better friend! Better yet a better person with some heart to so you could understand why Max and I don't wanna leave. Ever since we got here Michael you never tried anything, you were failing school, everyone at school hated you, well we tried and we have a life here on this planet in this town wither you approve or not!!" She shouted.

"Iz." Max mumbled soothingly touching her back telling her to calm down and lay off.

Michael just glared at her.

"Max used to make hard decisions much easier." A soft voice said.

They all looked in that direction to see Tess.

"We're not on our world anymore, things are different." Max mumbled.

"How did you know we were back here?" Michael asked.

"I saw your head through the window on the door, I guessed you were having a meeting or something." Tess spoke.

"No, no meeting, just trying to figure out what to do, Michael found a skin." Max answered.

Tess's eyes got larger in alarm as she looked over at the person she cared most about, Max.

"Well it's getting pretty late, why don't you guys sleep on it, they might know your faces, but they don't know where you guys live." Liz suggested.

"She's right." Max mumbled looking at Michael.

Michael rolled his eyes.

"Let's discuss this after school tomorrow at our house, it's the only safe place we can talk about this." Max suggested.

"What about the eraser room?" Michael replied knowing that place was private.

"To risky Michael, anyone walking by could over hear us, and I DON'T think we wanna take that risk." Isabel said.

"Fine. Tomorrow at your house after school." Michael settled then got up and walked out of the room.

Max shook his head in annoyance, Isabel looking at him.

"Oh gosh, how could you three even STAND to be friends with him?" Maria asked.

Neither of them said anything.

Max walked out of the bathroom that him and his sister shared, walking down the softly lit hallway.

Max opened the door to his room, lit by a lamp on his nightstand; to see Isabel sitting on his bed, Max frowned.

"Isabel, are you ok?" Max asked closing the door.

"Max, I am worried Michael's point of view is gonna happen." Isabel admitted.

"No Isabel, don't worry about it, you know Michael, that's his answer to everything." Max assured her.

"But he sounded so serious this time Max, and I don't wanna leave Roswell, I'm so happy here, finally!" Isabel replied standing up and clutching him by both biceps.

"I'm happy here too Isabel, don't worry you and I aren't going anywhere, I promise." Max assured her again.

Isabel nodded and hugged him tightly. Max returned the hug closing his eyes tight, smelling the faint aroma of her perfume, glad he was hugging someone who he held close to him, but that feeling also made his stomach turn.

"Night Max." Isabel replied walking to his door.

"Night Iz." Max replied sitting down on his bed and looking at a corner of his room.

Isabel grabbed the door handle and opened his door slightly, looking back she stopped.

"Aren't you going to bed Max?" She asked.

"Yeah, well I dunno, I'm kinda afraid that I'll have that dream again." Max admitted.

"The one about our planet?" Isabel asked tucking a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear.

"That's it." Max agreed.

"Well don't worry about it, it's actually a good thing though Max, cause I mean if it's real, then your seeing our past and you'll know stuff about our world." Isabel said optimistically.

"Yeah but it'll turn into a nightmare cause we're in the revolution and in the revolution, we all..." Max hesitated with his words.

Isabel looked down at her feet.

"We all died and I don't know if I will be able to watch that." Max admitted.

Isabel nodded.

"Don't worry Max, just go to bed, it was probably thanks to dad's Mexican food again." Isabel agreed then left the room, leaving Max smiling at her comment.

Max's eyes squinted shut tighter leaving his face troubled instead of relaxed and untroubled.

Zan's face was mixed with fear and anger as he watched his enemies crawl all over his living room and jump from the now open roof onto the first floor. Both Ava and Vilandra clutched his arm.

"Get away from the railing." He whispered backing both of them away from the side until their backs were against the wall, out of sight.

"No, this is NOT happening." Ava said aloud as she closed her eyes, clutching Zan's hand.

Zan kissed the top of her head reassuringly then looked around in panic. He then let go of his wife's hand and ran down to the end of the hallway and elbowed a small glass square, shattering it into small pieces, freeing a laser button.

"Zan, no!" Vilandra replied.

Zan licked his lips and shoved the button with his palm. It signaling a loud siren that was at such high velocity it shook the house. Zan tried his best to keep his balance but the ground shook so much it sent him to the ground, groaning as he hit the ground.

Ava and Vilandra screamed as they to hit the ground.

Zan grabbed Ava's hand and pulled her to him, embracing her; he did the same with his sister, covering both girls with his body so no hard objects hit them.

"Zan! Why did you do that! We're gonna be trapped in here with them now!" Vilandra screamed loud enough so he could here her.

"I don't know how many of the enemies are outside but by the looks of it, most are in the palace, and I do not want any more of them getting out and terrorizing my people or advancing to our parents side of the palace. We can find a way out!' Zan explained as he looked around, keeping a look out to see if any skins were making their way to them.

"Zan, I'm so scared!" Ava screamed burying her head in his chest, squeezing her eyes shut tightly praying that everything would just go away.

"Come on, we have to get out, come on get up." He encouraged Ava and Vilandra, slowly pulling both of them up to their feet.

"Come on we have to make it to that side of the hallway, that's where my communication devices are there along with weapons." Zan replied breathless as he started running as fast as he could but slow enough so the others could keep up with him.

Every now and then he ducked from hearing a laser bullet too close. Soon they reached where he was trying to get too. Zan touched the side of the silver wall, sliding to a stop.

"Hurry up Zan we HAVE to get out of this building!!" Vilandra screamed in fear.

"Keep your voice down, we don't want to give away where we are, that's just what we need!" Zan mumbled, pressing a small black button then a blue holograph came up with numbers on it.

Zan quickly pressed numerous buttons numerous times until a hidden section of the wall popped out with weapons and other devices. Vilandra jumped on her heels in a nervous panic as Zan grabbed an earpiece with a thin black toothpick length mic attached to it. He shoved that in his ear and grabbed a couple of guns.

Finished, he shoved the section shut again and turned to the girls.

"Come on." He replied.

The two followed him, running through the hallway, his spiked hair staying in it's place.

"Rath." Zan commanded over the mic.

"Sir! OH GOSH it's SO great to here your voice, where are you!?" he demanded.

Zan looked around.

"Second floor, living room hallway." Zan answered.

"My Lord, that's right above where the enemy is!' Rath informed.

Suddenly a laser tore a dime-sized hole right in front of them. Zan jumped back, pushing the others as well.

"Tell me something I don't know. How long will it take to get a portal to open to my parents side of the palace?" Zan asked.

"About two hours." Rath answered.

"WHAT?! Two hours for a 15 second portal!!!!!?" Zan said enraged.

"I'm sorry sir. But I am coming to you, so don't more." Rath replied.

"If we have too, we will." Zan answered simply.

"Ok if you do, tell me over this, I will have my mic in." Rath answered.

"Ok, umm I-" suddenly something knocked him clear off his feet.

"Zan! Look out!' Ava screamed.

Zan landed a couple feet from his original place on the ground, him groaning in pain as his body hit the marble. Vilandra looked at Ava, who had her back to her, screaming at Zan to look out and with that she slipped away.

"Sir, what was that? I heard a scream!" Rath asked.

Zan flipped over onto his feet and whirled around to see what knocked him down. He got a welcoming as a hand grabbed his throat and shoved him against the wall. Ava screamed and winced as she saw the man shove Zan against the wall.

"Master Zan, what is going on?" A voice asked.

Zan's eyes were frowned in anger and his teeth clenched.

"Kivar!" He growled.

"ZAN!" Rath shouted in his ear.

Kivar smiled and grabbed the ear piece and yanked it out of his ear, hurling it to the opposite wall, smashing it into pieces. Zan sighed in pain as the device was ripped from his ear.

"Zan!' Rath replied but heard nothing but static.

"Oh no, please let him be ok." Rath answered bolting out the door, plowing through some skins on his way.

"Nice place ya got here. That's why I want it." Kivar replied chuckling lifting him up in the air, but keeping his back on the wall.

"I got a proposition for you." Kivar growled.

"Not interested." Zan answered immediately.

"Don't even have the decency to listen huh?" Kivar asked.

"Not to you." Zan corrected.

"Fine, then I'll dispose of you right now." Kivar replied pulling out a laser gun and raising it to Zan's temple.

Suddenly Ava shot at him, gracing his cheek.

Kivar howled in pain as he dropped Zan and clutched his left cheek. In fury he grabbed Ava and with his powers shoved her over the railing, falling to the first floor.

"NO!" Zan shouted but he was confident that her scream drowned him out.

Max shot up in his bed, Tess's scream ringing in his ears. He breathed heavily, running his fingers through his black hair in stress. He shook it out of his head and change his cloths, picking up the phone.

"Yea, hey can you meet me at the park? When? In like 5 minutes, please? Ok, thanks see ya in a few minutes." He replied slammed the phone down and snuck out his window.

Max jumped his knee nervously, still seeing the images of his nightmares. Suddenly Tess showed up walking on the park walkway, she approached Max.

"Tess, thanks for coming, I knew it wasn't easy for you, but if it counts for anything I really appreciate it." Max replied.

Tess smiled sweetly.

"Don't worry about it Max, Valenti knows, I told him it was alien business. And I feel honored that you come to me to talk about stuff that's bugging you. So what's up?" Tess asked sitting down next to him on the park bench.

Max thought about what he was gonna say then turned his body to her.

"I....keep having these....dreams. Dreams about our world." Max began.

Tess's eyes lit up slightly.

"But the dreams are of during our war." Max added.

The glisten died slightly.

"Wow, that's gotta be kinda scary not to mention weird." Tess commented.

"Yea, I don't know if they're real like how things actually happened or not. The first time I thought it was something I ate but now I'm not so sure, I didn't eat dinner and it continued EXACTLY where I left off." Max explained.

"Then they MUST be real." Tess answered excitingly.

"But they're not good dreams and I am to the point I don't wanna fall asleep cause I know how this story is gonna end, and I don't wanna see it. I don't wanna remember it." Max replied.

"Believe me, I understand, the same thing happened to me." Tess answered.

Max looked at her weirdly.

"It did?" He asked confusingly.

"Yea it was a little after the death of Nasedo. It started off beautifully, cause all I had was visions of you and me. But then it went to terrifying. And I didn't wanna fall asleep either and during some time I succeeded but that didn't last very long." She said giggling.

"You had a dream about the war too?" Max asked.

"No, a different dream seems like the war isn't the only time Kivar has been a pain to you. It was some dream, you were battling him and you got injured and the whole planet was afraid that Kivar would come and take over and kill us. It was scarier than it sounds trust me." She said chuckling.

Max nodded in understanding.

Nicholas nodded as well, standing across the street behind a building, for he too remembered that event.
