-Silent Apology-

Disclaimer: I am not J.K. Rowling and I will never own Harry and Hermione. Even though I wish I did, I don't.

A/N: This poem takes place after Harry and Hermione get into a big fight, over what I do not know, and this takes place a while after graduation from Hogwarts. There are no spoilers and. . . you can guess who's speaking.

She left me
She replaced me

Never to be seen again

As for this year
A sad year

Just memories in the distance

Her laughter fades
Every step I take

Farther and farther away

A kiss was all I wanted
A slap was all I got

It wasn't fair, the depression she caused me

It's been 13 years since
Whether that's a lucky number or not

I saw her on the corner

With a man embracing her
A young boy at her side

A step closer

She turned
Her eyes met mine

A locked stare, our friendship flashed before our eyes

I ran towards her
Her husband gazing awkwardly

An interesting reunion after more than a decade

I looked at her
She looked at me

The argument was resolved with a silent apology

I embraced her and at first she didn't react
But soon she wrapped her arms around my neck

After a moment we parted

With a questioning look from her husband
She moved away

"Goodbye Harry, I missed you."
"Goodbye." I love you

Some things are never said
