After vacation, classes will start again. Tony has to leave; his family will move to another place.
Tony and Jessica decided not to break up. Their relationship is as is.
Before Tony left, they promised each other that they'll see again with their love strong as it is.
Jessica cried hard as she saw Tony leaving. But then she knew in her heart that Tony will always be near.
For the first year, they always have a communication but then after one and a half year, Jessica didn't receive any letter from Tony. She keeps on sending but Tony didn't answer.
One day
" Hey Jessica, you have a letter." Elizabeth shouted
Excitedly Jessica ran to get the letter.
She immediately opened it and read.
Dear Jessica,
I'm sorry. Sorry I can't keep our promise. I'll go straight to the point, I wrote to break up with you.
I tried hard to remain faithful but then its really hard to have a long-distance relationship. Everytime I long for your touch, your care, your love, I can't find it because you're far from me.
Jessica, this is hard for me. I want to be honest with you. I still love you but I also love someone here. Someone that can always be near me.
I don't want to be unfair to you, so I'm breaking up with you.
Jessica, I'm really sorry; sorry that I can't take care of you as I had promised.
Sorry, please forgive me. Take care of yourself, I love you.

Tears rolled down her cheeks after she read the letter.
She can't believed that it's over.
For weeks she didn't eat, she even got sick and she cried hard every night.
She continue to hold on to their promise, continue to cherish the time they had together. She know she can't move on but she's still looking forward for the day that she'll ready enough to say goodbye to the past, and to their promises that she thought was for forever. She still believe that the day will come that she is ready again to open her door to the one whose loving enough to pick up the pieces of her heart, make it whole and will teach her heart to love again.
