Her warmth was fleeing from the descending blood on her arm. The wound echoed the pain from the attack. Kagome's hand was placed on the bleeding shoulder. She was attempting with a hazed mind to slow the flow of her blood. The trail behind her was marked by the dark stains upon the grass with the evidence of her injury. The loss of blood was slowly making her steps near impossible.

She was surrounded by forest and blindly wandered through it. Kagome could feel faintness coming on, and she leaned against a large old tree. Her muscles could no longer hold her up, and gave out on her. Her body fell down with quick speed, and hit the tree hard. She felt nothing of the fall after her head hit the tree as well.

Her body lay motionless in the forest. Blood was spreading across the tree's bark and surrounding grass. The others had no idea as to where she was. The wound on her person had disoriented her, and Kagome had wandered enough as to have her scent lost amongst many others.

They were on a search for her, but would not be the ones to come upon Kagome. Near half of an hour after she collapsed, familiar elongated bodies of Shinidama Chuu moved about the air.

Her feet made no sound on the ground as she moved across the grass. The bow she held in her left The bow she held in her left hand jetted behind her arm. A familliar feeling came to Kikyou, she could sense something was on the verge of leaving.

With her experienced eyes, she could see the essence of Kagome's soul starting to collect. The vast amount of blood around Kagome's unconcious body gave it a grotesque frame. The small minions of the underworld started to appear around her, Kikyou brought her hand near and banished them from Kagome's body.

Kikyou stood beside her reincarnations damaged body. She stared at the near dead girl, and made a decision.

Incoherent flashes of her memory rippled across her mind. The one standing out the most, was one of a creature with silver hair and an abundance of red coming toward her with claws outstretched. After many times replaying in her mind, Kagome finally snapped her eyes open.

She felt great pain on both her right shoulder and head. Her vision blurred momentarily from the shot of pain. When it cleared she saw the plays of light occuring on the small huts ceiling.

A wet cloth was on her forehead, when Kagome sat up she moved it off. She had to balance herself with her left arm, as her right wasn't entirely strong enough. She noticed something was odd about her dress. Kagome was draped in the attire of a miko priestess.

The mat form of a door was opened by a woman dressed in the same manner of herself. She was carrying a small basket of plants she had just collected. Her face seemed to expect something of Kagome when she entered, unexpectedness spread across Kikyou's own.

No reaction to having her enter came from Kagome. She just looked at her as a small child would to a stranger. Just from this she could tell the head injury was worse then she assumed.

As Kikyo kneeled beside Kagome, the injured one asked her a simple question.

"Who are you?"
