Kingdom Hearts ~ A Path to the Light
Chapter 2
"So where are we?"
"I have no clue..."
The men with a monkey tail were asking one another the same confusing questions. There were a group of 9 among them. They were all the same these clones. All but one had differences from the others. This single monkey- face, tailed man was wiser, stronger, and wore different clothing from the others. He was Zidane, from Terra, but he wasn't close by to the other group of his fellow clones. Once they had appeared in a Jungle, the trees swarming them overhead, Zidane climbed up a nearby tree. The tallest one that he could possibly find. While nearing the top and looking out, he could spot that the many armies of trees swept out vastly within the Jungle. There wasn't even any type of buildings that lay in view. If anything else was out there, surely it was hidden below the heights of the trees.
Zidane couldn't help but pestering himself with the memories of what had happened between the empty darkness while being taken away from his world and being brought to this jungle.
"A Path to Light...?"
What did this all mean...? If him and the others were to find the way out of this Jungle, would they be taken through the path to light and return home once again...? There was only one way to discover this curiousity that was contained in their minds.
Meanwhile...others had faced the same or at least similar predictaments... A fair and beautiful lady laid unconscious for a while on a yellow dozy bird. The bird of a Chocobo. The ex-Summoner/Sphere Huner, Lady Yuna was reliving a dream. A message that flowed to her mind and spirit while she was in darkness, away from Spira.
"A Path to Light...?"
What was the Path to Light? Technology? The voice was talking about Technological light? It will save her? Where was she? Finally Yuna arose upon the Chocobo. The Chocobo stirred as well. Yuna could remember seeing visions of an advanced civilization, with flying machines with weapons flying around a vast, beautiful, ocean scenary. Yet when she awoke, she wasn't in this dreamy place. She was in a dark Jungle...trapped in the prison of the tall trees. Ferocious animals were probably lurking nearby, and even the Chocobo wouldn't be quick enough to escape some of these animals. What was Yuna going to do now?
"Tifa! Wake up Tifa!"
Tifa awoke and met her eyes with the blonde-spiky haired man that she loves. She was relief to escape the darkness and that voice that consumed itself in her mind, but was anxious while she was looking around this Jungle and its vast trees that surrounded.
"C..Cloud...? Where are we?!"
Cloud shook his head with the same understandings of their whereabouts that Tifa had. He was clueless, but the message that was given to him and Tifa in the darkness made a little bit of some sense. Of course they knew that light always conquered darkness. Light equaled good while Darkness was evil. If your soul was good, you would follow the path to light. Even though a lot of this was understandable, at the same time, a lot of things were unclear and unexplained. How can they get back home? Why were they brought here? What did they have to do to find the path to light?
While the Heartless were multiplying even more, the skies darkened more and more. A lot of these Heartless found themselves dwelling in the trees, taking out any other animals that already owned it previously before. Heartless were burrowing into the grounds, finding their homes underground to travel by means of digging through until they reached their desired destination.
Yuna on her chocobo in one location, Zidane and his fellow clones in another, and Tifa and Cloud in some other spot, all within the Jungle, were frightened when they could here the loud chittering of these black demons. The chittering became louder as they were approaching each destination of these lost bodies. Some were starting to growl and produce some other horrifying noises.
Closer and closer they were getting, until a tight circled formed around each spot where they all were placed in the Jungle...
"Ooohh...Where am I? YUNA!? Where are you?"
A Blonde, wavy - haired man was arising from a soft bed in some sort of Hut. His precious Yuna wasn't with him, but sitting close by crossed- legged was a wild woman, staring at him. The confused man wondered who she was.
"Who are you? What is your name?"
The Wild woman spoke, but didn't answer his questions.
"Welcome Tidus. Welcome to Atlantis. You will be waiting here for your friends until they reach the path to light. You were the Chosen one. The
One Chosen from King Mickey and the Disney Kingdom."
"The Chosen one? What do you mean?! WHERE'S YUNA!!!???"
