Chapter 3
"We got them all. Just as you wanted King Mickey. Good job Ansem!"
Everything was going as planned for this test. The test for the Ultimate light. Mickey was glad that Ansem turned sides to join the light and help them bring those Final Fantasy people that were brought. Sora had finished giving the report to Mickey as soon as Ansem returned. Riku and Kairi were waiting around. Riku was Mickey's right-hand man as Kairi was Mickey's left-hand women. Sora was second in command of the Disney Kingdom. As for Goofy and Donald Duck...Well....
"Yes! Your Highness. I am always glad and loyal to be serving you. I won't turn traitor like Goofy and Donald Duck. Don't worry, we will get rid of their wickedness. Once the test is done with, we will receive the Ultimate
powers to completely annihilate the darkness."
Tidus was looking around the gorgeous setting outside of the hut. He was amazed at the wonders of this magically and technologically advanced civilization, that every thought in him forgot about Yuna, and forgot about him being deemed the chosen one. He had believed that Zanarkand was the most magificent place ever, but this really proved that he hasn't been around enough to see many other sights.
"You see....Chosen one. I can see that you are in love with this place. A
utopia for you? Is it not?"
Tidus was just speechless. He was lacking in words. He knew that he couldn't just escape his home and never return, leaving Yuna and all of his friends behind back in Spira. Although this place really spoke to him. This felt like his home, the first moment he walked out of the hut. Atlantis...
"Cloud! I'm scared! What's that coming! Some form of shadows or something?"
"Don't worry Tifa! I will protect you. Can you still fight? If you can't
fight then I will ward off these demons."
The Heartless were coming in closer and closer around Cloud and Tifa. Cloud took out his Ultima Sword, ready to strike down all the Heartless in one blow. His Omnislash should be able to do the job. Except, there were too many of them. It was like a huge army. All Cloud knew was that he just had to keep cutting through them as best as he possibly could. He was strong. If he managed to defeat Sephiroth, then his powers were amazing. Not only Sephiroth, but three powerful Weapons he had the capabilities to fight off. Even if he was weary from all the fighting, cutting through these demons shouldn't be a difficult task.
Cloud was prepared, and Tifa decided that she would lend her fists to help fight them off. They dived towards the swarm of Heartless, cutting through them with their amazing powers, but they never made it that far, for these Heartless just kept pouring in, more and more. Barring their paths from reaching any further from any other location. These Heartless were coming around them from all directions, trying to consume their darkness into Cloud and Tifa...
Meanwhile, the Chocobo that Lady Yuna was upon was startled with fear. It just wanted to get away from this Dark Jungle. This was definitely not the right environment for it, it just wanted to be on a large sunny fields, the Calm Lands, and with these Heartless appearing...the situation for this Chocobo became even worse and more frantic. Yuna almost couldn't grasp a proper hold on the Chocobo's reins. She knew that she would fall off it in time. Her guns were falling out and onto the ground. Then by the next moment, Yuna was thrown off the Chocobo, as the Chocobo ran off in another direction, into the darkness, where many Heartless were waiting.
The fall had sored Yuna. Her Chocobo was gone as well, and Yuna could only hope that it will be able to manage out there on its own. Where was Tidus? He wasn't here with her. Perhaps he never vanished away from Spira and came to this Jungle like she did. Yuna was hoping that Tidus was safe and sound back at home. Even though she knew that he would be extremely worried, and will be looking for her until he has found her. How would he be able to find her here? Yuna knew that this Jungle didn't even exist on Spira. She was in another world, she just had to be. Yuna had been all over Spira countless times.
Yuna picked up her guns, equipping herself once again, and preparing to use her powers against these Heartless if they were to come any closer. She couldn't just stay here, she had to find that Path to the Light and return home again. It was a good thing she still had her garment grids and dress spheres. These would definitely come in handy for all the Heartless that were a few feet away from her now.
Zidane and all the Clones decided to climb in the trees, but some Heartless were waiting up there for them. These Heartless were clawing them or attempting to dive their evil into the clone's souls. Some of these clones were consumed by the darkness too. Becoming a Heartless. Zidane and three others were left now. The situation didn't look pleasing. Soon they would all be turned into Heartless. They will fail to reach the light and return back home to Terra.
Zidane was looking around his surroundings and could notice that in a nearby bushes, a face of a young boy was watching them with anxiety. Zidane approached the bush quietly, to hear the voice yell out.
"Leave me alone! Don't draw these dangerous animals near me!"
Zidane was startled, he replied back to the young boy with a calm voice,
"Don't be scared. I'm not going to hurt you. Who are you?"
"I..I'm Mowgli..Who are you?"
"My name is Zidane. I..."
It was too late for Zidane to finish. Zidane was careless and a Heartless was diving at him, preparing to consume Zidane's heart to Darkness, turning Zidane into a Heartless too...
